Instead of us properly analyzing why osimehn isn't performing, we're trying to deem the club that spend 75 million on a player that only (Scored) at Farmers league i.e Belgium, France as USELESS when he isn't even their top scorers. Personally, I think he should had stayed longer at France before signing for a big club seeing how Pepe flopped at Arsenal but everyone was in a haste to sign. During the preseason, he scored 2 back to back Hatrick and I was praying that my initial thought was wrong. The first 6 games, he played fairly well but scored only 2 goals, the hope was alive. After his injuries and covid, the guy hasn't been the same. I haven't Lost hope yet but don't be branding a Club Useless when our starboy isn't the top scorer at a Useless Club.

Do you watch Napoli matches?
If you do, then you will know that the problem isn't with Osimhen but the other forwards at Napoli, including some of their midfielders. To other Napoli players, they don't know if they have a top 9, all what they do is to try and score themselves. It's in Napoli you will see a player playing shot from the middle of the field with the intention of scoring and taken the glory. They play an "All Man For Himself" kind of football and as a top 9, it's only when balls are worked for you that you score goals.
Look at Traore and now Haller at Ajax, both their midfielders and wingers Makes sure they create chances for them, but same can't be said of Napoli.
Watch Atalanta matches, you will see the number of chances that are created for Zapata to score, same goals for Lukaku and Inter, Zlanta and AC, Immobile and Lazio, even including Ronaldo and Juventus, but same can't be said of Napoli and Osimhen.
Mertens, Insigne, Politano, Lozano, all of them playing behind Osimhen, once they are with the ball, they dribbles one and the next thing that comes to their minds is to shot and not to pass and create chance for their top 9 who happens to be Osimhen.

Both of them were in motion not every coming together is a penalty, unless you saw a different version from the referee

I saw the slow motion and it was pretty much obvious.

Top 9? ❓

Because he signed for £75 million doesn't make him a top 9.

That accolade is EARNED not GIVEN you prove yourself whatever the circumstances by what you do on the pitch.

They Napoli paid the same money that Inter paid for Lukaku. But only the most delusional will think theses two players are on par.

Lukaku has been a top outstanding striker consistent and continous for over a decade.

Osimhen had barely played two seasons of first team football and we labelled him, world class.

He has a lot to learn and that big price tag is not going to help him. He now has to prove his quality or the knives will be out for him. Big money and BIG EXPECTATIONS follow.

You can't blame the team.

I am not sure you are good with comprehension, if you were, you wouldn't have replied me with this trash.
Oga, because Osimhen has to prove his worth and work for the amount he was bought for, then he should drive to the midfiled to collect the ball, then dribbles pass all his opponent and scores? Where have you seen such happens when he is not Messi?
Even your Calvert Lewin of Everton, reminds me the last time he scored a solo goal, most of his goals are headed crosses, through passes and they are scored from inside the 18yard box. But you see Napoli, they won't even give oshimhen crosses to know if he can even score with his head, not to talk of given him through passes, etc.

You are calling osimhen a useless player but you don’t know

Napoli is a useless club according to you and osimhen is not among their best player this season so far ,so since they are a useless club you think osimhen is left out of the uselessness?

Did Halaand had experience before signing for Dortmund and isn't he scoring the goals? Talents needs experience but not much of it to excel.
Or you want to tell me Halaand playing in the Austrian league was an enough experience?

He didn't missed 2 clear cut chances, the goalkeepers brilliantly saved his 2 chances and that's the job of an opposite goalkeeper, to make brilliant saves...not that he had a one on one with the goalkeepers and he played it to a goal kick, like Calvert Lewin had and played against Liverpool or so

Osimhen will come good soon

Most Nigerians don’t know anything and there are many of them on this thread ,they can’t talk football without putting double standard aside

I am sure Mexicans didn’t call Napoli a useless club last season when lozano was struggling and he finally came good this season and has been one of their best players so far with 9 goals as a winger from 21 seria A games ,Lozano was their record signing last season just as osimhen was this season and Lozano didn’t do well last season

Even if osimhen is playing for a high flying pep Guardiola side where strikers like Jesus aren’t scoring much they will still call mancity a useless club and Guardiola a clueless coach for not using him well

The type of comments I see here ehnn

Na still here one Mumu say messi no Dey pass for griezman grin

The person no no say that by calling Napoli a Useless club, ein dey call Osimehn Useless player as osimehn no even be the top 3 top scorer at that club. everyone wants to score, passes don't happen too often close to the 18 yard box unless the box is clogged with defenders. or that there are two players who are perfect at one two tiki taka. Let's not begin to exaggrate as if it is uncommon. Napoli's other fowards have more goals than osimhen. it's not as if osimhen is Ronaldo. even Ronaldo does not receive passes like a king in juve. chiesa, Bernardeschi, dybala, take shots more than they pass. So what's the problem there?
