A Twitter user had shared the provisional bill for a school in Epe, Lagos State, with school fees of 4,643, 901 Naira.

oga no come show off here..you are spending more than 4.5m as school fees for a 3 years old son, what will then happen when he reaches primary 1 or jss 1....
what are they even learning or teaching them in that school that will gulp such huge funds?

School fees don't translate to quality education. OAU the greatest school in NIGERIA pay less than other glorified secondary schools.

If you ask his staff what he pays them now, majority who are graduates will be taking home less than 50k. But here he is, mixing up cheap and affordable in a bragging manner

I attended the best school in my local government and I paid 500naira throughout my primary school days

What's the Jason dude trying to say? Maybe the word "cheap" has a new meaning. Being able to afford a luxury doesn't make it cheap. He should be reborn, come back as a civil servant and tell me that 4Million for a kid's tuition is cheap, then I'll take him seriously.

Exactly. He sounds more boastful than realistic. Everyone can't be on d same level. Even with d so called global standard, not every pays d same school fees and when comparing that standard with Nigerias standard, he left out standard of living which is d key ingredient in determining affordability

iROKO TV boss lives in Ghana. I have met him once at the Kotoka airport. As a non-Ghanaian, he has to pay fees in US Dollars, which is why he is making the comparison, albeit a very faulty one.

The problem I have with this kinda school is they will still pay teacher peanut, they will continue to spend of buildings and school buses and holidays

I really have a problem with tweets like this. Obviously any good parent should be willing to spend a billion on their kids if that translates to quality, but how is 4.6m super cheap? Rather be thankful for the privilege.

Everything is very expenses in Nigeria and not everyone can avoid paying for them. No wonder mummyfour is always lamenting on the prizes of foods in Nigeria today

Yea fees are not an issue if u have a good business and are doing well. However, u dont need to rub it in the faces of ppl who are mostly struggling to get by. Or just cant afford such.
