I waited inside the eatery for him. When he came we ordered for snacks and the next thing this guy held my hands across the table and began to scabbash aloud. Lol.... The guys sitting around us began staring at us. This man didn't want to end the prayers o. Hmm....
Anyways that was the first and last time I ever saw or went out with him.

I went blank and just had to extend the convo and since that day (maybe she felt I was not comfortable being with her) I've never talked, picked her calls, replied her texts till date. He picked a day, I agreed. On that day I was so broke, not even bike fare to go out and mumsie no dey for me to ask.

The guy suggested an eatery, I said we should go on a stroll instead (as a rule, I no dey go on date if I no get my Tfare or money for food wey I go order, I hate see finish).

Guy came for the stroll at my bus stop. I met him there and we strolled to two bus stops ahead of mine, talking and getting to know each other. When it was time to go, dude said he will put me on bike so I don't have to walk back alone, I told him not to worry, that I'd walk (as I know say I no get Tfare).

This guy no gree o, was insisting. I said he should not worry. After the back and forth, this guy looked at me and said "ah, you don't have bike fare, why didn't you say so"? I now said I have bike fare, I just want to walk home. For bus stop, oga begin shout "where's the money, you must show me the money".

I just left him there and jogged home. Got home and narrated the gist to my mum and sisters, they laughed hard and the guy earned the name "show me the money".

That's how it didn't exceed the first date o.

May his soul rest in peace cause he's late now.

There was this dating site (whisper2u) that was in vogue then. Got a babe and we got talking like we had known each other for a while. On the D day, I was really disappointed when I saw her but still went ahead and pretended all was fine and that she was very beautiful, mama taught me well. Alas! We had planned to spend the night together and heaven knows I tried to run away but didn't want to leave a lady stranded. Feigned tiredness to no avail, she wouldn't let me be throughout the night! Told her my mind was with a girlfriend and wouldn't want to hurt her... She started crying... That night was one of my longest nights ever. Joked with her, made her smile, caressed her till she fell asleep, just didn't dig plump girls. That's 18 years ago... we are both good friends and she is happily married with 5 kids in the USA to a very handsome dude now!
