Sports › Chamberlain Signs For Liverpool As Chelsea Lose Out by potent5(op): 6:18pm On Aug 30, 2017 |
In another blow to the Premier League champions this summer, the 24-year-old is close to becoming a Reds player after he snubbed them Liverpool have agreed a fee of £35 million with Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who rejected Chelsea to secure a move to Anfield. The England international is expected to undergo a medical at St George's Park ahead of finalising a five-year deal with the Reds.
This is the situation Antonio Conte had feared after reaching a £40m accord with the Gunners on Monday for the 24-year-old. The Blues boss wanted to speed through the process of completing the transfer so the Premier League champions would not get usurped by Liverpool late on. Arsenal had preferred to see the versatile player - in the final year of his contract - at Stamford Bridge, having informed Jurgen Klopp’s side earlier in the window there would be no transaction between the clubs. However, Oxlade-Chamberlain delayed having physical checks or working through any of the other formalities to tie up matters with Chelsea, before expressing his desire to join Liverpool instead. The north Londoners had to reverse their stance and open talks with the Merseysiders, who have long held an interest in the Southampton academy graduate. He was not a priority target for them in this window, but elevates the competition across several positions in the squad. The outlay is more than Liverpool originally intended to spend by £10m, but the current market climate has dictated as such. Oxlade-Chamberlain believes he will have the opportunity to operate in his favoured midfield role more under Klopp if he impresses. He would become the fourth new acquisition at Anfield if things progress as planned, following Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andy Robertson. Liverpool have also secured RB Leipzig dynamo Naby Keita in a club-record deal for next summer. They are continuing negotiations with Monaco over a deal in excess of £70m inclusive of add-ons for Thomas Lemar, while no bid has yet been made for Southampton's Virgil van Dijk. |

I once got stranded in that town one night in 2000 on my way back to school. It was a terrifyingly harrowing experience for all of us in the bus by the roadside throughout the night. We were all scared but nothing happened to us and no one molested us even though we were parked in the middle of the town. |

The governors are just a handful and their individual votes are equal to any other person's vote. Anyway, they are on their own; they can't bind the majority on core issues of right to self determination. It's one man one vote. |

Christianity Etc › Outrageous! CAC Pastor Cures "Spiritual Attack" With S*x by potent5(op): 9:10am On Aug 27, 2017 |
WITH her eyes wide open, a-32-year old housewife, Omotola Akerele, seeking spiritual help, watched as her five-year-old marriage ended abruptly, no thanks to an alleged abortion for a “man of God” who allegedly took advantage of her during her trying period.
The Pastor, one Matthew Olakunle, also allegedly took advantage of her junior sister, Tope, and their 60-year-old mother, Janet, under the pretext of spiritual deliverance. Olakunle confessed to having sex with Tope twice and prayed for their mother naked twice. He shaved Omotola’s pubic, armpit hair before the alleged sex with her. Their mother, who reportedly introduced her daughters to the pastor, narrated that she started attending his church five years ago but denied sexual intercourse with Olakunle while alleging that he always prayed for women seeking spiritual help naked. Omotola walked into the alleged trap of the pastor, then head of the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Itura, Iju, Ondo State, after she complained of “spiritual attack”. The housewife had confided in her mother that she was battling with acute cough which had defiled solution for over a year. And whenever the cough gripped her, she was always urinating uncontrollably on her body. Olakunle allegedly not only took advantage of her condition but allegedly impregnated her and, in a bid to conceal the pregnancy from her husband, Elijah Oluwaseun, she decided to commit abortion. Sunday Vanguard learnt that the pastor, after listening to her story, allegedly told her she must have been attacked spiritually and needed special deliverance which will last more than one week in the mission house at Ejigbo area of lju. But the husband got wind of what happened between his wife and the pastor after she had taken in for him (pastor) and terminated the pregnancy. Oluwaseun confronted his wife and she reportedly confessed to what happened between her and the pastor after which she was sent packing from her matrimonial home. The victim, while narrating her ordeal in the hands of the pastor on a live programme on Adaba FM in Akure, the Ondo State capital, alleged that Olakunle instructed her to remove all her clothes, including under wears, before each prayer session which lasted seven days both day and night. She said the pastor’s wife was away to Ajowa-Akoko area of the state during the deliverance days in two-room mission house. Omotola alleged that on the last day of the deliverance session, Olawale pushed her to the bed, mounted her and had sex with her. The pastor, according to her, said the sex will exorcise the “evil spirits” dwelling inside her body and the cough and the urinating on her body would cease forthwith. She pointed out that a month after the sex, she became pregnant but later aborted it with N5,000 because of the shame it would bring to her if the truth came out and she could not transfer the paternity to her husband. The housewife said she came to the radio station to expose the pastor because he was responsible for the breakage of her marriage and, more importantly, to prevent other spiritual seekers from falling prey to the alleged antics of Olakunle. “I had severe cough and my mother took me to Pastor Olakunle Mathew for prayer in Iju. After praying for me, he said I needed a shaving stick and a handkerchief to perform the spiritual exercise which I took to him”, Omotola alleged. “The pastor told me that he wanted to use my hair to perform some spiritual work that would solve my spiritual problem. On the night of the first day after we got there, he asked me to pull off my clothes in the presence of my mother to pray for me in the mission house. “Subsequently, anytime I went there for deliverance, he would ask me to remove my clothes and lie on the bed. He would pray for me. “On the seventh day, he shaved the hair of my private part and my armpit hair and put the hair in the white handkerchief. After that, we had sex and after the intercourse he asked me to go and bury the hair in the handkerchief behind the mission house” Also speaking on the programme, the pastor confirmed praying for the women in the church naked. Olakunle said he had put over 15 years into the service of the church and had served in many branches across the country. According to him, he was able to cure Omotola of the attack after the one week deliverance. “God answers prayer faster while praying naked”, he told the radio audience. “Omotola’s case was a spiritual attack and she agreed to undergo the spiritual exercise performed on her in the church”. The pastor, who has now been moved to another branch of the church in Ilorin, Kwara State, however denied having sex with Omotola. He equally denied impregnating her. Olakunle, however, confessed to having sex with Omotola’s younger sister twice and also prayed for their mother naked on several occasions. Speaking on his encounter with the housewife, he said, “On the third day of the spiritual programme, I shaved the hair of Omotola’s private part and I touched it with my penis and I told her to be using my penis to rob the entrance of her private part so that she would discharge. “After that, I wiped the discharge of her private part with the white handkerchief and I prayed for her using Psalm 24. “After the exercise, I asked her to go and bury the handkerchief in the bush. I asked her to call her husband to do it for her but she refused, that is why I did it for her but I didn’t have sex with her.” Olakunle expressed surprise that Omotola claimed he impregnated her and that she aborted the pregnancy which led to her being driven out of her matrimonial home. Also speaking, Janet, the mother of Omotola, denied knowing that the pastor committed adultery with her daughters during their deliverance sessions which later resulted in pregnancy. But the pastor said that it was the mother who bought the shaving stick and the white handkerchief used during Omotola’s ‘deliverance session’. Madam Janet confirmed the shaving of pubic and armpit hair by the pastor. Oluwaseun, Omotola’ s husband, said that he allowed his wife to visit her mother who promised to take her to her pastor for deliverance. “After a week, l called her (wife) to come back to the house and she asked me to come and pick her in Akure. On getting home l started suspecting her after she made advances to me and it was unlike her. “Before then, whenever I made sexual advances to her, she was in the habit of giving excuses but after her return from the deliverance session she made advances. “I became suspicious and when l touched her private part l discovered that the pubic hair had been shaved and l asked her what happened and she said it was her mother who helped her to shave it. “I played along and, after l said l will call her mother to find out, she changed the story and said it was the deliverance pastor. “l interrogated her further and she confessed that she had sexual intercourse with the pastor and was pregnant. “l then asked her to leave my house and take the pregnancy to the owner”. Oluwaseun said that her former wife had rented a room apartment at Leo Junction in Akure after their separation.

kingreign: 1990 Toyota Carina ii 2.0 GLi 4sp auto lift back.
When i returned from India, I decided to buy a small lift back which I could use to move around. I got myself a brown/gold coloured 1990 model Toyota carina ii 2.0 GLi for 450k, brown seats and brown dashboard, heated side mirrors, heated seats, I had to construct the A/C as there was none. It had alloy wheels and looked good it was a German market carina ii. I bought it, from a woman and took it home. Next day, I started the engine and it roared to life. Pushed the lever to R, the car surged backwards with speed, I slammed the brakes only to hear a groaning sound. Pushed to D, nothing R, nothing. I packed the car there. I travelled again and came back after 2months. I inspected the shafts and noticed balls on the tyre area (that time I was a novice with capital "L" who couldn't handle a spanner). I called a mechanic who checked it and told me shaft is bad, I have to replace both shafts as they were fake elcheapo eltawain shaft. I parted with 12K that day, he came with beljium shaft and installed them. He told me to shift R and D to check if they're working, I depressed the brakes and did that, on releasing the brakes, the flexible brake line on the driver's front tyre bursted. Spilling contents. 3k went out for brake pipes again.
2weeks later, I went to install a CD system LG 1 DIN with pioneer speakers and was feeling funky. I went to Suleja to flex my old babe. coming back, I started hearing a strange noise on the rear driver side tyre. I got to mechanic workshop, tie rod broke. No more steering control tyres were wobbling. 8K to purchase new tie rods, 2k for rubber booths, and 3K for one of the multilink arm on the rear (the previous arm was bent and the previous owner used dunlop slippers cut to act as rubber boot hence the noise and uneven driving). I was back on the road again. I went to APO to flex with my guys, as per I don show Naija na, night came I was returning home, I couldn't see my front. Hmmm. I managed to get home. Called my mechanic. He said reflectors in Headlamp is faded, we should get another one. 11k for one tokunbo 7k brand new taiwan, I picked 2 tokunbo for 22k. He installed it, it was out of alignment. He adjusted it but it was only slightly brighter than the previous units, he called a re-wire who installed a relay, the headlamp worked at last, I was glad. Hehehehe Night movement started again, lol! Only for rains to come and I discovered no wipers, they were wornout and producing noise. 1,200 naira a pair in front and 300naira for long piece on the rear. Nothing's gonna stop me from 'wakaing'. I discovered the motor started drinking fuel. Chai, called my mecho again, he removed sparkplugs, installed new ones 8K (2k a piece X 4), removed airfilter and bought another one 1500, then bought injector CRC cleaner, cleaned the intake butterfly valves. Poured some in the Vacuum line. Started the car to idle a while, then change oil, 3k oil filter 1k total 4K. Economy improved a bit. But still high consumption. Came back to him, he checked and discovered the Airflowmeter is bad. 15K for belgium part. Finally, it worked. My power windows acts as if they've got a mind of their own when rains come, they may not go up. But I had to manage them, I also found the wires on the power moonroof which was detached (the moonroof was sealed with mechanic's trademark black gum which I peeled off). Suddenly, my steering became stiff. I called my mecho, he said pump is failed. Bought tokumbo pump 7k it worked, I went to AMAC. On the road going, it became stiff again. I called him, he said 'when coming home branch my workshop'. On my way home I was doing 140km/hr on berger-nicon junction expressway, suddenly I slowed down to negotiate katampe bridge, steering locked, slammed the brakes, car swerved off the road, tipped over the bridge and landed face down into the deep gutter below. All the contents in the boot fell inside the passenger cabin. I had seatbelt so i wasn't hurt, I climbed down and called my mechanic. He went to find a hiab truck they said 70k to lift the damn car out of the gutter and place it on the road side. I said NO. I quarrelled with the mechanic, I told him I am no more working with him (beef mode active). Luckily, a blue hiab of FRSC was passing by, I waved him to stop, he helped me freely, I was glad. Someone came, with a knife, cut my rear seatbelt and used it as a tow rope tied to his car and towed mine to another mechanic shop. Headlamp broken, grille broken, front driver side suspension broken, brake cable cut, bumper broken, windscreen developed a line from top to bottom, fenders bent, transaxle broken, steering bad. Over 100K to replace them, new strut bought and yet it failed a week later due to a leak thus giving out the pressurized fluid, I opted for tokumbo struts 12k. I was foolishly determined and no one's gonna let me down. I got on the way from AMAC and drove to go see my babe in Bida poly smiley I never knew it was gonna be another epic wrong move filled the tank up and fired, on highspeed in excess of 160km/hr on kubwa-zuba expressway. Damn speed was sweet I was dusting all other cars on the road when suddenly I hit a pothole (Suleja, Lapai, to Bida was pothole infested then, I don't know of now) suddenly, my suspension gave way again, but I was not deterred, I must love up. Suddenly, a pre-facelift Honda Accord EOD (2003-2005) swept past, this act bruised my ego, in trying to catch up, the driver suddenly stepped on his brake and a petrol truck was coming ahead, I hit another pothole, my brakepad flew out, this gave me no room to maneuver, I rear ended that car and it was totaled. The boot, to the rear passenger was deformed badly. My front end again went bad. Another crack on my new windscreen, broken headlamp, broken grille, bumper. Suddenly another lorry from behind side swiped my Right side, a piece of sharp metal from the truck sank into my car's rear quarter slicing the metallic body work all thru the rear door area. the alhaji came out and looked at his car, looked at mine, and told me to go repair mine, he'll fix his. shocked smiley I was shocked and happy. I continued my mumu journey to Bida poly, stopped at the gate, called the babe, she say she was busy, can't attend to me. chai!
Ego bruised again, I kuku enter my kabu kabu jalopy, manage enter zuba, police check point. Them men in black wanted to start their story again. I vex tell them say make dem leave me, I need to go rest joor. Out of pity one of them met others and they let me go with my jalopy. Got to my old mechanic, he said, 'you don come again with your wahala'? I no fit answer. We fixed the car, 80K went from my pocket. Toks bumper (blue colour), toks struts, toks headlamps, toks grille, brake lines, pads, calipers, booster, disc and master (remember my brake pad fell off, I had to ride the car like that). welding and panelbeating the rear quarter and door area sliced thru. Immediately I fixed it, I put it up for sale, some dudes came, paid 300k cash, took it and travelled lol, wahala removed finally grin When they got to their destination, they started calling me. Fear no gree let me pick I finally summoned courage to pick after many missed calls from them only for them to tell me I don't know what I sold to them for such a cheap amount. If only I knew, I won't had sold it so cheaply. Mumu people
Mehn, because of that car I learn mechanic by force, and all the chukuwdi, nonso and spareparts dealers for kubwa and zuba come know me as customer.
