This week alone, we’ve seen a Yoruba woman die because her husband couldn’t scrape together a 500k deposit at a hospital in Lekki. That’s the reality of your so-called progress. Meanwhile, most Yoruba-owned banks can’t even meet the CBN recapitalization deadline—but I won’t name names so I don’t trigger panic withdrawals. Let’s not even talk about the telecoms, where the so-called giants are drowning in losses, and one has already shut its doors. The once-proud conglomerates that made Lagos a powerhouse are now crumbling, gasping for air, with losses deep enough to bury them. And through it all, we’re stuck in a brain-dead cycle of nepotism that’s systematically destroyed every foreign business in Nigeria—Nestlé, Nigeria Breweries, DStv, MTN—all bleeding out in red ink. But go ahead, keep pretending this country isn't in total collapse. Keep clapping for the circus of failure you’ve built.
In one breath, you are talking about Providus bank as the Yoruba bank that is dead. In another, you are talking about most of their banks that can not meet recapitalisation deadline and if you mention names there could be a run on them? The point is, you are really overating your self in case you don't know. Inconsequential you will name names and there will be panic withdrawal!?

Your arguments are best suited for a palm wine joint where people will clap for you when you start all these your ignorant bunkum.

Like I said, we know your type.

Even that is not helping them , most of their businesses are choking under debt , Glo Is fine, their bank ,providus, Ntel are neither here nor there. Their eateries are now like certified dead mortuaries , they can't even fix ordinary plumbing and air-conditioning. Their malls are choking under high diesel cost , the hotels are now run with I better pass my neighbors. This is their last clasping or grasping of a drowning man. Let's be patient and watch them drown like eternal fools.
Is Glo really fine? Wonderful! I would have love to know the parameter for arriving at that?

Providus is their only bank? Wonderful!

You don't even know where Ntel is? Like you assumed , neither here nor there .

When did knowing about plumbing and fixing air conditioning become the yardstick for measuring the economic performance of a group of people?

We know your type . Just make sure you do not continue like this.

Let's just be real...!

Davido was correct... If you no get money or connection for Naija, just hide your face.

The few wealthy in Naija are not anywhere as hardworking and success-seeking as the millions that are poor and wretched.

Let's quit gaslighting abeg.... This is not patriotism when you fail to speak the truth.

Nigeria is not doing well economically and has one of the worst leaderships on Earth from LGA and state to Federal!

There is no sugarcoating this.

It is unacceptable and beyond abhorrent that minimum wage can't sustain a single individual not to speak of family monthly.
I am not gaslighting, sugarcoating or supporting the leadership.
My point is clear and simple. In the midst of the darkness, downturn and everything else anyone may say, there are still opportunties that abound. I doubt if anyone will argue about that. Neither am I saying that the minimum wage can take any worker home .
I stand in support of the comment I responded to and will recommend you read it again.

There is a kind of freedom you have when you return to Nigeria from the western world. Forget about almighty dollars and pounds Sterling or Euros. Yes, Nigeria has lots of issues and bad leaders. However, things are also happening here. If you have the right information on your finger tips, you can make a lot of money in Nigeria. Nigeria is changing rapidly when it comes to the way houses are built these days. All kinds of beautiful houses springing up everywhere. New Supermarket chains are springing up. If you can make snacks, people will patronize you. The market is there for any business idea you have. Naira is bad, but na Nigeria you go spend am .

If you are not lazy, you can do some farming of vegetables and fruits and locate your customers. Oranges, bananas , pine apple, grapes are getting expensive . You can come from abroad, buy land and cultivate these fruits. No slacking. This lady knows what she wants to achieve. Make una leave her o. Internet is there for research and getting things across borders. I rest my case.
Well. said.

And when she arrives, open her eyes and brain wide, begin to make use of the opportunity, in no time,. she will eventually be better than those at home who knows nothing other than the negatives they assume defines the country. Next you see them giving reasons for why she succeeded and they could not.

I stayed at thier student area while Serving as a corper the indigenes are non accommodating very hostile to strangers including the student... Life in ekiti was unbearable as they mainly communicate in yoruba including the student, thier school fees range from 300k-900k depending on your department its a source of income to the state reason why the governor is always trying to invest on it... Thier weather is what i love about the state they have beautiful ladies too but accommodating is zero for them, they are blessed with good natural view nice rocks and vegetation

I never wish to visit the state again.... For various reasons
Their not dumping their language just because an inconsequential you served in Ekiti is a sin by your standard.?

What a shameful way to argue and justify a position as someone who presumably served as a corp member. Shameful!

You people never learn, anyone insulting a Politician we dont like is a "hero" ... dem use recall kick Dino melaye out, Natasha know pass Saraki
How many senators for the house don sponsor bill?

There is little comparison between the Senate and an office environment my dear.
If she gets back to the house today, I can assure you not all the remaining 108 senators will give her cold shoulder.

The point is, Nigeria na comedy ground. The two parties will shift ground soonest and some where some how, there will be a soft landing.

Grow up my guy.

Akpabio's wife involvement and suing Natasha was a dumb move because she had no direct issieith Natasha. Akpabio and wife wanted to cow Natasha but they a dealing with a woman of substance.
Akpabio' s wife going to court just showed how dumb she and her husband are. But of course in Nigeria, we like adding drama to everything for spice and condiment.

Smh. You don't understand what INEC just did. It's an official request for the petitioners to amend their petition. It's not a permanent closure but an advice on what they need to do next to proceed.

If you understand politics then you should know that people who could get over 200k signatures will have no issue getting 30k votes so that all their efforts doesn't come to nought.
You seem to have forgotten INEC will cross check each of the names with their voters card amongst other procedures.

I will be dissapointed if you think INEC has the time and resources to waste on this effort .

Truth is face saving and soft landing will settle the issue las las.

Anybody born in 2023 will not assume, presume or believe that a senator or Natasha for that matter will be recalled.
