First, you cannot argue immorality in court. An ashewo in an hotel cannot go to seek redress in court at least by the Nigerian law as at this morning.

Second, there must be a contractual terms duly acknowledged by both parties before you can seek redress. When did mere words of the mouth become easily enforceable?

International Business Management , moved to 2 years Post Study Work visa while still working in a warehouse, couldn't get COS to switch to skilled worker visa....Post Study Work visa expired early February 2025....Uncle is still in the UK, illegally as an overstayer....no job as he has no right to work, still sustaining himself with his savings and talking about going to seek asylum in Ireland.

There are very unpalatable cases like this you narrated but when one talks about them especially on a forum like Nairaland, you see people who have never touched a Nigerian passport not to talk of knowing the way to an airport castigating you for filmsy reasons.

It is unfortunate that it has come to this but the winner from the state of emergency is Governor Fubara

1. Without SoE Fubara will be impeached and that will lead to open warfare in Rivers State. His impeachment will likely not happen and he should complete his first term.

2. The main losers are the Rivers State house of assembly that have not been paid for months and would now not be able to seat. They still have their defection case going to the Supreme court where they may actually loose.

3. For now Wike is not loosing or winning.....he has lost his power through the house of assembly. Tinubu suspended the house of assembly to tame Wike.

4. Fubara must settle this politically. Use the next 6 months to settle this out of court

On point number 3, if their defection case gets to the SC, they will never lose considering the hint that the SC has given concerning the matter in the final judgement a while ago.

Aside the SC, common sense should determine whether their names exists in the register of the party they have purported to have moved to

Point no 4, like you said , nothing other than a political solution will solve the logjam. The only thing Sim seems to hate but will have to save him is " stoop to conquer"
