Delat521:
Infact I was perplexed when I read the headline. This is guy is not presidential at all. Atleast at this level of engagement he should have put together excellent media group to do this kind of job.

He's just saying thrash as if he's talking to kindergarten boys. This not a best rejoinder for that kind of attack on him. He failed woefully. Obi needs thorough tutelage before he can think to seek presidential ticket. Infact he would have good to deputize Atiku now to learn the rob. It's not too late and chance of him becoming president is much more feasible thru that apprenticeship under Atiku.
The irony of it is, there are some comments attributable to him that you are first tempted to fight on his behalf that he never made them.

Obi has no sense. So he was expecting mass death? Very nonsensical a man.
That was probably the agenda.

To reduce the population to that of his favorite state in Indonesia.

Electricity supply was extremely low all through my stay in Nigeria, at least let the people have electricity for their legit hustles
I am not in any way defending the government o but with all due respect, the low supply was due to where you stayed. In this same Nigeria, there are areas enjoying 22- 23 hours of electricity un- interrupted.

My sister, it is very possible. There are energency power barges/plants with 500-1500 MW capacity that the govt can purchase and deploy within a short time, less than a year. Countries like Ghana did that a few years ago when they had power shortage. You dont have to build it yourself from the scratch.
The new electricity law has opened the way for solutions to the power problem. When people shout that the sub nationals are not doing enough, critics are ever eager to defend them. The barges you talked about, what stops the states from acquiring them especially with the law that has decentralized electricity generation and distribution?

I can bet you, If a state government provides 20 hours electricity to its citizens, the noise alone will spur neighboring states to action.

Transcorp at 36 naira looks interesting to take a punt on it. Any particularly strong negative against Transcorp apart from its current TrancorpPower earnings/receivables red flag, and general Market bearish sentiment?

If you buy Transcorp before the share reconstruction, you are presently at a huge loss. Do the research in case you want to nail me to the cross.

I dont know how old you are but I recount the era of Shagari very well. There is scarcity of essential commodities, essenco it was called then. Up till this government no Nigerian government has served the masses well. All they do is give the masses hope. The masses are the ones at the receiving end of their never ending "reforms".
Obi and Atiku will not offer anything different.
And you should also know how to reply to peoples comment without being disrespectful. What I am saying is my opinion.
Going to queue up essenco made up mainly of rice , milk and sugar then. By the time you get to the LG secretariat, the queue would have been as long as the burning train in the Indian film

It makes sense to vote the worst of the worst as long as they will not be stupid enough to be killing cows everyday in the government house while the people they rule over are going to bed hungry.

Politics › Re: As A Governor, My Cook Was Killing One Cow Everyday & Told Him Stop! — Peter Obi by ppogba: 5:01pm On Aug 25
The typical Nigerian hypocrisy will not allow people ask the right questions;

* The cows being killed, are they for government house workers? If yes, are they not being paid salaries?

* The cows being killed, are they for visitors? If yes, when did the government house turn to cafeteria or buka?

* How did the daily killing of cows enhance the smooth running of government then?

* Will Obi kill cow for his workers if he were to be running a business?

At least, Obi is in the habit of comparing Nigeria with other nations, someone should tell him how 10 Downing street operates.

You just mumbled something from *chatgbt and think it's worth sharing as relevant information.
No head nor tail.
Guarantee don't affect your score except you are called on to pay in default by the pry debtor and you are unable to pay, you are only qualified because you already have a good score, if guarantee affects score as you put it, no one would be qualified to be a guarantor the second time to another facility.
Guarantee can't be revoked except it's done without full disclosure as said, if there is full disclosure, you have to settle the debt in order to be discharged.
Also, there is no need to chase the debtor, so the rule exhausting all recovery means for settlement of debt with the pry debtor doesn't apply, the lender only needs to bring you in to clear the debt.
Guarantee can't also be transferred to another facility, if I guaranteed 10k to a friend and he has cleared the loan, then he renewed it or took another facility, the lender must seek my consent to guarantee the renewal or the new facility given.
And he could not even credit where he dubbed it from.

givedemwotowoto:
We all know what happened with the strike so we know Sowore is trying to score a cheap political point.

This is What Happened

Peter Obi wanted to reform Anambra’s health sector, and he was met with fierce resistance from those who benefited from the old system. But he refused to cower to intimidation or cave in to their demands.

He pushed ahead with the reforms and built partnerships with churches and voluntary agencies to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state.

What happened afterwards?

Anambra emerged as the best performing state in the South East in immunisation/polio eradication, earning a $1 million award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The state also remained polio-free for 5 years.

Peter Obi then added additional govt funding and channelled the award money into building 10 maternal and child healthcare centers, mostly in Anambra villages.
Nobody send your typical lie lie excuses.

Atiku's explanation was topnotch. Tinubu got it all wrong. Every sensible society apply subsidies in vital areas. Tinubu took subsidies away, lives ostentatious live and enthrone no sensible practical economic policies and programmes for people who voted for him.
Maybe you should give us an example of the sensible society that borrows money to pay for subsidy.

Besides, one would expect that the peculiarity of each society decides what suits them.
