I supported the removal of fuel subsidy but never supported the removal of subsidy in education and health sector
I believe nigeria can afford even free education in tertiary education if this government bring out half of the wasted and looted fund. Thr is no justification for any youth to start thr life on loan.It was free to me during my time @ 1900 and 90 accommodation. Every student could pay it.Infact many state in the North gave thr student 5k as bursary which was above the total package of sch fees and accommodation. So why should they now live on loan for it.The money saved from fuel subsidy should have been channelled to subsidize education and health sector. The bills you see in government hospitals is almost the same in private hospitals this days
1. Expecting the population of students in higher institutions today to get QUALITY education for free is not only a mirage but an impossibility. Any presidential candidate that promises that is only deceiving his supporters and not all Nigerians. Maybe we should begin to look forward to the era when graduates have employers waiting for them on graduation days by Uni gates with a salon car to booth.

2. So, there is justification for students abroad who started their own lives on loans?

3. I paid less than what you paid and it wasn't easy even at that time. I will not say more on this.

4. Yes state bursaries were common place then. I can confirm.

5. Do you per chance have an idea of what is required for fund our education and health sector well in the face of decrepit infrastructure?

6. Maybe you should consider the entire needs of the whole country to get a better perspective for your arguments.

I challenge any presidential candidate to promise returning the subsidy. Since that is all your ilk are hoping to be the game changer.

alanto:
I guess they mean 50 years of age.
How many years on stage will Fela, Barrister, Sunny or Oliver D Coque or Obe will be celebrating this year if they are all still alive?
There is a difference between the two. He stated it explicitly clear he is celebrating 50 years on stage when he is just 56 years old. This is a pure lie from the kingdom of Lucifer.

All the people you mentioned who are greats in their own rights never claimed they mounted the stage of their career at age 6.

The lies of showkey can appeal to Gen Z who may wish to clap for him or the docile entertainment journalism industry that cannot question him and not all of us in Nigeria.

If I come face to face with him, I will remind him of when he first appeared on SUNDAY RENDEZVOUS as a back up dancer to someone I will not mention.

But I was told NELFUND is the best thing to happen to Nigeria youths by this government
So it an achievement that calls for celebrations instead of subsidy in education.
What a contradiction from ur type...lol
" Whatever faces a person, most likely has it's back turned to another".......... African proverb.

For an indigent, brilliant first child in a family of eight who obtains NELFUND to see himself avoid dropping out in the Uni, his or her view will be totally different from yours. FACT.

It is what you know without anyone telling you that higher education is not cheap anywhere especially the so called advanced countries that your ilk are always fond of making reference to.

In one breath, you want cheaper higher education, in another you also want top class, internationally competitive higher education all combined into one. It is only hypocrisy that can make that possible.

However, no one is and cannot deny you your right to ever find fault in what a government that you hate with all your energy does. It is understandable.

OredoPikin:
There is no profit in investing in Nigeria sport.
People don't go to stadium to watch matches here even if it's free, and they pay staff.
We are poor people in Nigeria
There are many reasons why we don't watch matches in Nigeria and being poor is down the ladder.

Undeniably, football is watch more in the North and Kano in particular than any other place in Nigeria. Does is mean people are more prosperous in Kano than Port Harcourt, Warri or Lagos? The answer, I believe you know.

First, there is total lack of interest in Nigerian league. The evidence is glaring on this thread where some are even saying they do not know a club called Kun Khalifa.

Second, no investment to increase awareness.
Third, corruption in every facet that discourages people to put their money.
Fourth, over consumption of foreign football.
Fifth, violence that discourages people from going to watch matches even with their wives and kids.

E don do.
Nobody pay me for WAEC Essay.

The PSBs are good but their loan rates are indeed pretty much outrageous. Unfortunately, most of the users of the loans don't study it and/or don't care about rates. The PSBs continue to thrive in the loan business because they are easily accessible.
In life, anything called loans can never be palatable.

Easy to collect, difficult to pay.

Totally support this. OPay is fast becoming a systemic to our payment space. Plus, the terms of those OPay and PalmPay loans are ridiculous. The FG should rein in on them to charge normal rates that will ease the burden on the lenders.
Which Opay and palmpay loan rates are ridiculous?

Have you bothered to compare their rates with commercial banks and MFBs? Please do so.

* Check very well, there is a LATSMA point close there where the thieves are collecting bribe daily.

* Does it mean there is no government infrastructure monitoring unit in the whole of Lagos?

* How come it took this long?

Why is it so hard for Nigerians to stay away from crime outside the shores of this country??
Because they must come back and oppress people with the ill gotten wealth.

Because they must be recognized as an Odogwu or whatever chieftaincy nomenclature.

Because the society itself does not care whether you slept the day before a poor man and wake up the following as a billionaire.

Because......
