Crime › Re: Micael Leandro da Silva Shot Dead After Being Mistaken For Target by ppogba: 5:12pm On Aug 06 |
nairalanda1: Depends. While I share your RIP, most of the boys playing football in the favellas or indeed in brazil would not make it into the big time like Ronaldinho. Many of them would end up leaving football and getting a real life job, a tiny minority would make it into a football club in Brazil, talkless of a mega european club(and by a football club in Brazil, I don't just mean Flamengo, fluminense, sao paulo, corinthians, santos or botafogo....it also means a club somewhere in the remote western part of Brazil too...so far away that it is basically a rural area).
Even the brazillians that make it to Europe, most of them end up playing in third or fourth or even lower divisions self. Or in some obscure European countries like the Faeroe islands. Being a Brazillian does not guarantee you an automatic pass into the big european clubs. You fight for the right of club membership like everyone else... You might be right. It is most likely due to the abundance of talents. A Brazilian player once played for FC Ifeanyi Ubah if I am not mistaken. Several of them are in South Africa and other back water leagues the world over. I however totally disagree that most of them that make it to Europe are playing for third or fourth division teams. I stand to be corrected, at least, all the 20 teams in EPL will have at least a Brazilian. I also believe the same applies to La Liga. There are so many of them in Eastern Europe. |

PresidentMUGABE: He actually got double of that. Many were allocated to other party due to lack of polling agents
Some international community are presently helping him to build regional reporting centre ....
All the states will be captured separately as election progress...
INEC might just end up to be an observer The international community is even coming with party agents for candidates with agents in some pooling units. |

Efuaye: At this point, shouldn't our food and drúg regulatory bodies go into overdrive to ensure that the food, drinks, and medications we buy meet the standards for human consumption? When the NAFDAC woman complained about the agency being short of staff, she was badly insulted here on Nairaland. The same agency that should guarantee sanity. When she complained about threat to her life, she was insulted by Nigerians. |

Heffalump: NOT TRUE! Liberality and human kindness is a gift from God and also by human mental creation via discipline. Only few individuals are kind in Nigeria. That's because of the way our society was structured and created. It's not the same worldwide because societies are built differently. As an individual, I know what I've achieved in the lives of others and what I still aspire to achieve. So, chill! You are not the first and will not be the last. So, chill! |
