As they use to say, there is noting wrong in taking loan to buy shares but what shares matter a lot. If i took loan in jan 2026 @30% PA and bought Berger, i will be at over 150% in profit today after loan repayment...but its easier said than done sha. Me never get courage to get loan for shares sha
" If I took a loan and bought Berger"........ Adverbial clause of Assumption.

What could have formed your basis for buying Berger at that point in time?

Why not assume if you had bought Afripud, UCAP, Fidelity, FCMB? Are they bad stocks?

Nothing is as easy as becoming a motivational speaker the moment something works in your favour.

That initial question is right. People still dey take loans to buy shares?

I hate when people come online to spew ignorance. That you don't need banking services at this moment doesn't invalidate the role of commercial banks in the financial system. Banking is not only credit and debit or depositing and withdrawing cash. E payment, web transactions, money market transactions, certain stock initiations, relationship management, networking and retail setups are done within the commercial banking sphere. Go and do your remitta transactions on Opay
The day you realize that the highest percentage of ignorant Nigerians are those on the social media is the day you begin to bother less.

The day you know the type of topics that brings out the ignorance in people on Nairaland is the day you begin to read some comments and just move on. For a hint: topics on banking, economy and finance.

I saw my dad use an ATM as early as 1991.
Just like I said, don't argue further.

Your dad used ATM at which of the banks in 1991?

I can tell you how archaic banking was in Nigeria as at then.

We heard the same thing when Nigerian banks started acquiring ATMs in the late 90's.
There were no ATMs in the 90's.

Don't argue further.

PO needs to comport himself better.

He has been a bit too verbose of late and releasing unnecessary controversial statements.

Focus on the matter at hand which is how you will do things differently from the present disaster that is there.
If only his handlers can tell him this.
Atiku is also contesting and not talking up and down like this. Does that take anything away from him?

No matter how articulate one is, the more you talk, the more people see what to hold on to. In the multitude of words........ says the holy creed........

Obviously Nicholas Jackson is a better striker than Delap. Chelsea had a bad season because of Jackson's absence.
Chelsea bought Delap on the usual British hype of their below average players. I was so glad Man U never signed him. After all, Sancho dey there wey Man U never chop finish.

Now, the hype is on a certain Anderson with Forest asking for over £120m.

They were dreaming of equalizing immediately after their goal instead of being stable for minutes thereafter.

Sorry Mr Ojudu pls remov that Babafemi from your name cus real SW don't talk or reason as you did I think we have to profile you to know your root.

Nigerians really have serious problem if Tinubu did not signed the deal you wll say he doesn't care about Nigerians now the deal was signed and Bianca went to facilitate it and now it's a sin.

Na wah oo.
If you don't see something wrong in a foreign affairs minister dancing shamelessly with prisoners in a foreign land then, something is wrong with you.

Just imagine it being Abike Dabiru dancing with prisoners of her ethnic stoke.

One can only imagine that this thread would have gotten to page 100.

Temper sense with your hypocrisy abeg. For once.

For the records, most of the prisoners are held for visa overstay. They were our young men that japad to the wrong destination.

We have an epidemic of young Nigerians that wants to leave the country by fire by force, while at it, they should do a proper research of their japa destinations. There are a lot of shit hole countries out there.
For the records, they were held for drugs related offences.

It's too early attempting to rewrite history that is glaringly glaring.

Lick your wound in peace abeg.
