Talking about logistics, the hosting of competitions involves the distances of hostels to their games venues, enough buses to shuttle between various centers simultaneously, enough medical facilities and personnel accross venues and centers.

It is Great that Mbah is ready and willing. If other states can do it, nothing stops Enugu the former capital of the Eastern region not to do it.

If enugu could host about 20k NBA members they are capable of hosting sporting events of 10k to 15k participants, accomodations and transportation will not be a problem, plus the facilities are under reconstruction

Enugu did not provide accomodations for NBA delegates.
Enugu WILL provide accomodations for ALL ATHLETES AND OFFICIALS.

TRANSPORTATION may not be a problem. Logistics COULD be a problem.

Argue from a position of knowledge and not that of tribal sentiments.

Delta, Edo,C Rivers, Ogun, Oyo, Kwara amongst other states will host NBA conveniently.

Hosting sporting events is another game entirely. Hostels or accommodators must be provided for the athletes, logistics of moving from hostels to sporting venues are involved,, the facilities themselves must also be available and upto date.

However, to me , this is just a drop inside the River Idumota. One of the problems we have is that our leaders though they hear our cry but are not ready or perhaps not creative enough to solve some of the problems.
I would have expected a people loving and oriented government in Lagos to :

1. Increase the fleet of the BRT buses massively. The period between when subsidy was removed and now would have been enough to do that.

2. Get these buses fuelled at designated stations specifically assigned for that at subsidized rates. Then, the government can point directly at something as being subsidized. You may wish to show me.what LASG can point to at this moment as being subsidized.

3. With the fuel at subsidized rates, set a fare that even a deaf and dumb can know is subsidized for all the routes.

Instead of getting 36 wareva buses for a population of over 20million residents.

Abeg, tell them at Alausa at the meeting on Monday.
