Potvalor:
I'm free tonight, so let me just try to educate you better, since you're invested in this argument. A company's worth is based on its Market Cap, and from your own post (the image), you can see that Zenith Bank's Market Cap is #2.81 Trillion, which equates to $2 Billion.

Meanwhile, every company owns Assets and Liabilities. Zenith Bank might have Assets (value of what they own, which includes customers' deposits, loans given out, etc) valued at $16 Billion, but they also have Liabilities (value of what they owe others) at $14 Billion or more. So just only the Assets don't equate to the value of a company, cos you have to take out the Liability to get the true value (Equity value). You can read more on this to understand better.
You have done well in your argument.
But just to let you know, customers deposit is NOT an asset to a bank. Rather, it's a liability.
Loans are assets.

No worries.

The Inter-confederation games should be between;

One team from CAF

Either UAE or Iraq/Saudi Arabia from the Asian Confederation

Bolivia from CONMEBOL

New Caledonia from OFC

Jamaica and Costa Rica from CONCACAF
Without being pessimistic, no African team will scale thru the huddle of the intercontinental team.

That is not what I am saying.

What I really mean is that it is unfair to have teams in the same group share a host country.
There are other southern African countries outside our group that could have hosted Zim and Les. They could play in Angola for instance .

I bet if Benin played their home matches in Nigeria there would be complaints from federations such as SAFA.
You are totally right .

It is the fault of the Morons running our football. They could have fought against this and I am sure the whole world will agree with them.

The mess we are in could be traced to the era of Amaju Picnic. The id*0t was only interested in collecting his own 250k USD monthly from FIFA.

No wonder he was almost weeping when he was schemed out.
Education › Re: Admissions: Mathematics No Longer Compulsory For Arts Students, Says FG by ppogba: 8:56pm On Oct 14, 2025
malali:
Mathematics Is a Lifeline, Not a Luxury

Dropping Mathematics as a requirement for arts and humanities students may look like inclusion, but in reality, it’s intellectual disarmament.

Math isn’t just about numbers. It’s the language of logic, structure, and critical thinking, the very foundation of coherent thought, debate, and disciplined reasoning that the humanities thrive on.

Every field, from economics, law, and linguistics to philosophy and music, is quietly underpinned by mathematical reasoning: pattern, proportion, structure, rhythm, and evidence-based argument.

To remove Math is to unplug an entire generation from analytical literacy. You may raise enrollment figures, yes, but you lower the nation’s cognitive baseline.

If Nigeria truly wants to compete globally, we should be strengthening Mathematics education, not treating it as optional for those “not gifted with numbers.” That mindset fuels mediocrity.

Great civilizations didn’t grow by lowering the bar, they rose by raising competence and investing in skill mastery.
Very well said Bro.

Indeed, something is wrong with those ruling us. Why this at this point in time?

I ask again…why are their names not printed on their shirts?
In the typical Nigerian way, they bought paint that could only print the numbers. They didn't know it wouldn't be able to print names even though it could print some names before it finishes.
So they do not want a situation whereby some players will have their names while other do not.

Watching this team play, one is tempted to agree with the school of thought that says this particular team is one of the worst Eagles ever.

* Zero sense of urgency all because of leading with a single goal.

* Zero link up play between all the departments of the team.

* ALL BALL TO OSIMHEN.

Gold Rally, Crypto Crash, and the Case for Japaul (NGX: JAPAULGOLD)
Buy Recommendation

1️⃣ Flight to Safety – From Crypto to Gold
• The October 2025 crypto crash, triggered by renewed Donald Trump tariff announcements and a global risk-off wave, caused a massive liquidation of digital assets like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

• Investors, governments, and high-net-worth individuals are now shifting capital from volatile assets (cryptocurrencies) into stable stores of value, familiar assets such as gold and gold-linked equities.

• For Nigerian investors, this global rotation is timely: as the new tax policy and inflationary pressures create local uncertainty, gold remains a proven hedge and a trusted safe-haven.

Gold’s Safe-Haven Strength

• Spot Gold (XAU/USD): Surged past $4,000/oz,

• CURRENT PRICE :: 4155

• now up roughly +55% YTD, as risk-averse investors seek stability.
•
• This reflects a global flight to safety, reinforced by central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional investors diversifying away from the U.S. dollar.

• The rally is not speculative — it is a structural shift driven by inflation, monetary easing expectations, and global geopolitical tension.

Gold Producers: Outperforming the Metal See Attached Photo

Gold mining equities have delivered outsized returns in 2025 due to fixed operating costs and expanding profit margins at higher gold prices.

Gold miners’ equities have more than doubled the metal’s return, confirming their operating leverage advantage.

Why This Rally Isn’t a Blip

• Central Banks: Increasing gold reserves to hedge currency and political risk.

• Institutions & HNWIs: Accumulating gold after sanctions and market volatility.

• Policy Uncertainty: Nigeria’s new tax regime and global tariff tensions support sustained demand for safe-haven assets.

• Inflation: Persistent across major economies, reinforcing gold’s value-retention appeal.

This combination suggests a long-term structural uptrend, not a short-lived rally.

Japaul Gold & Ventures Plc (NGX: JAPAULGOLD) — The Nigerian Proxy

• Ticker: JAPAULGOLD

• Market Cap: ₦37–₦38 billion

• EPS (TTM): ₦0.12 P/E: ~22×

Dividend (FY 2024): ₦0.04/share

• Position: The only NGX-listed company with direct exposure to gold mining through subsidiaries Covenant Gems Ltd and H&H Mines Ltd.

• Opportunity: Rising gold prices expand Japaul’s profit margins and valuation potential, while local investors gain regulated exposure to the global gold rally.

Investor Takeaway

• The crypto collapse and policy uncertainty are accelerating a flight toward safer, income-generating assets like gold.

• Gold miners have delivered 100%+ returns YTD, confirming that equities tied to gold outperform the metal itself.

• Japaul Gold & Ventures Plc (NGX: JAPAULGOLD) stands as Nigeria’s sole listed beneficiary of this structural shift.

✅ Recommendation: BUY – JAPAULGOLD (NGX)

For Nigerian investors seeking exposure to the global gold supercycle, Japaul offers leveraged upside, inflation protection, and long-term growth potential.

Recommendation: BUY – JAPAULGOLD (NGX)
The way you have been repeating this JAPAUL analysis on this platform gives one the impression that someone should be wary.

Is this really for public good?

Is this really because you want people to buy it and make money.?

Indeed, BUYERS SHOULD BEWARE.

The referee canceled plenty clear goals and penalties against Kano Pillars and you expect them to remain calm. Not justifying the violence but our referees need to change. What criteria determined that the goals denied were clear and the penalties not awarded were also clear? VAR or what?

You don't judge cases with your personal sentiment.

Assuming but not conceding that the goals were clear, so the solution to the denials should be the animalistic behaviour being shown?
