The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Labour Party, and African Democratic Congress, ADC have demanded the cancellation of the Presidential election held on February 25, 2023.

Addressing a world press conference on Tuesday in Abuja, the three opposition parties said they have lost confidence in the process, describing it as a rape of democracy.

They demanded the immediate suspension of the collation process and the cancellation of the entire exercise.

The three parties also asked President Muhammadu Buhari to conduct a fresh election in accordance with the electoral act and remove the national chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and replace him with an unbiased and competent Nigerian to conclude the process.
