Nothing is deductable from your rent except on the express instructions of the Landlord.

@OP, it is the tenants that contribute for such evacuation. The Landlord also contributed if he is living in the property.

I remember this qoute but today prices are crazy granite is 8200/ton from quarry, logistic is crazy due to diesel. God save 9ja

I was really pained by this granite thing. Paid 370k for a 30ton delivery but they couldn't deliver because the road to my site is flooded. Now I am forced to pay extra 105k because of increase in Quarry, Diesel and Agberos.

Sorry for intruding in the design you posted. Staircase opening to ante room is a no no. It means that your visitor can purposely or mistakenly access the upper floor.

Also, for you to access your kitchen, you have to travel long.

Correction: Close the access from ante room. The wall of kitchen and store let it intercept the wardrobe wall which means you will increase the length of the wardrobe wall. relocate the bedroom wall to the interception while you break the ante/staircase wall to access the lobby

It is never an intrusion and I appreciate your input. I had earlier posted it here and the noble men and expert in the house did advise as you pointed out which was corrected and reflected by the architect in the final copy.

I don't really understand the first part and I don't have any relationship with the Engr.

Meanwhile, all the materials are not available on ground and will be bought in piecemeal. Just want to negotiate his fees before they start work.

Please what is the likely cost to pay an Engineer as Supervision and Labour Fee for a 4 bedroom duplex from Foundation to Parapet.

Property is located in Anambra State and the Owner buys all materials while the Engineer is in charge of Labour/supervision.
