Righteousness2:
Rebuke in the Church of GOD is very well in place and Biblical.

Rebuke is For Correction and should be done in love.

No matter what you are in the church or what you are doing in the Church, a true Believer, who has A TRUE FEAR of GOD, Whether G.O, Pastor, leader , etc who falls to the craftiness of the devil and is being disciplined will not leave the church in anger.
He/ She will give in to the discipline, and take the time to make amends and get restored to GOD.

Your Soul in Eternity is much more than Whatever Title you hold in the church.
If you know and Understand the Importance of your soul in Eternity, you will Personally give up whatever title or Position in the Church and give yourself to Reconcilation with GOD even before you are to be disciplined.

Title or Position CANNOT and will not take anyone to Heaven.
It is better to be an Ordinary Member going to Heaven, than to be a Senior Pastor , choir, prayer or whatever Leader Heading to Hell Fire.

U are to be rebuked with maturity and wisdom not to be disgrace, bringing him out to the public in the church is uncalled for, Jesus said anyone among dat have not committed any sin should be the first to cast the stone, but none could do it, u will be surprise dat most of the so called elders are doing worst Dan this guy. But truth be told if I offend you and u correct me in private u will earn more respect from me dan correcting me in public u will totally loose my respect because that's not love. If am the brother I will do more than dat.

Religion / Re: Should Church Instrumentalists And Singers Be Paid? by praisecity(m): 4:04pm On Feb 04
ebubeson:
If an instrumentalist or drummer or singer is a full-time staff of the church; and employee of the church; such a person must be paid. It is just like working in a bank. The church is his or her office, so such a person must be paid.

It is wrong to ask for payment when you are a member of a church and still get your source of livelihood elsewhere. You cannot be working in the bank, a company etc, and still tell your pastor to pay you because you are a drummer, instrumentalist, etc. Does it mean you cannot help God's house without being paid?

You guys should knw that playing is a career,
One of the things that bring growth to church is through music and church need to invest in it, some ppl can leave ur church because of bad music production and sound. Even if u are not paying them appreciate them once in a while. Am a driver on monthly salary and I also play keyboard for church for monthly payment. And they are enjoying my services.

Aproko Doctor has been fighting for his life.

He went blind in one eye on the 3rd of December.

Two days after, on the 5th of December, he was diagnosed with a Tumour in his Brain.

It was so bad that he had to go into surgery.

Are you still following?

You see,

I went down to his Instagram profile, I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled.

Did you know that on that very day he was diagnosed, he still posted his normal video content?

Stay with me.

All through the period where he was undergoing surgery and healing up, he was still posting his (pre recorded) contents which made us all ASSUME that he was fine, whereas he wasn’t!

He was “online” but was going through the toughest time of his life.

You see,

Sometimes, you just have NO IDEA what people are actually going through.

And because they show up, we all assume that they are fine.

A lot of people are going through their worst times but you actually never know so PLEASE 🙏

Treat everyone with kindness at all times.

Forget about what you see on social media, What is Behind the scenes can sometimes be really tough.

You never know what people are going through so, be kind.

Always.

May God continue to keep us all and our families, safe, sound and healthy and may evil be far from us. ❤️

Crime / Re: Why You Should Reject Accepting Mobile Transfers From UBA Bank Customers by praisecity(m): 8:00pm On Apr 18, 2023
respect80:
Sometimes I wonder if our society prioritize the idea of curbing digital and financial crime or they actually create an enabling environment to abet such crimes.
Amidst this naira scarcity which still persist to some extent in various areas, it will be an understatement to say that our banking system failed woefully if we're to judge by their performance throughout the naira crisis till date.
I wish to bring to everyone's attention that the United Bank for Africa (UBA) is more of a criminal organization that one has to be careful with while dealing with their customers because there's a high chance of one getting into trouble due to the lapses from their back-end.
UBA bank is one of the banks which a successful mobile transfer from their customers can easily be reversed to the customer after business has been transacted and the customer is gone.

My experience
I was at our shop when a customer came in to make some purchase of goods to the tone of almost 200,000. He tried to pay with card but the machine couldn't read his card so we opted for the option of transfer which he did using the UBA mobile App in his phone. I saw him did the transaction and he it was successful. I waited for the alert to drop after a few minutes but it didn't. I now asked him to share the receipt of the transaction with me but he suggested I should just snap it from his screen since his colleagues were already calling on him which I did. I snapped the receipt containing the transaction reference, sender's name, recipient account number and bank, name of sender and date then we exchanged contact which I dialed the number to be sure that the number was active and inside his phone. After checking my account with my first mobile app severally and not seeing the money, I now decided to send 1,000 naira from my OPAY account to my First bank account to see if that will trigger both alert to drop but still, I also didn't get the alert for the 1,000 I did so I symply assumed First bank was probably having credit alerts issues so I was calm and didn't bother to disturb him only for me to hear my phone ringing and it was the customer calling, I picked the call and he told me that the money had been reversed to him and that boosted my confidence somehow so I imagined he couldn't have been a fraudster then I asked if I should send another account number and he agreed then I sent my fidelity bank account. Then I started calling him to confirm if he had received the message but he didn't pick. I kept calling at intervals for six times and later sent him a text then he called me back telling me that he had seen the account I sent that his mobile app was just having network issues that I shouldn't worry.
Then when we were about to close, I decided to ask him about it again but his line was no longer reachable and his call was already forwarded to a non existence number. Till this moment, I haven't been able reach the customer neither did he call me.
Thanks to UBA bank who will reverse a successful mobile transfer to their customer after business must have been transacted.
If I hadn't had this experience with my kid sister who owns a UBA bank and did a 10k transfer to me which showed successful and she was debited but which was later reversed to her, I would have assumed that the customer must have used a cloned mobile app to defraud me but no, that is how UBA operates. They can reverse a money transfer to their customers after it shows successful with transaction receipt generated.
I'm just down right now, don't know what to do cos I don't have such amount of money to repay my boss.

Let me give u a trick ppl who use uba mobile use, after they have enter ur account number and amount, even though they have no money in the account. They will schedule the transaction to the next day and they will enter their pin. Mind u this will show a successful transaction and it will generate a receipt. This is enough for u to believed the money as been sent.

Therock5555:

This would be a long read, bear with me, this is how short I can summarise everything.

On the 20th of this month, I got awoken by a brutal knock on my door. The knocker wouldn't state who they were and wouldn't stop knocking violently either, even though I just woken up, I had a gut feeling that something bad was absolutely going to happen.

I had just gotten a fresh stash of MJ earlier in the week and it was proudly sitting on my center table. I immediately grabbed it and wrapped it in my blanket before I went to get the door.

My fears were confirmed when 5 fully kitted NDLEA officers pushed me back in, demanding that I bring it out, I didn't need a soothsayer to inform me that I was so screwed but as a bad guy, I feigned ignorance.

That didn't stop them from wrecking my room thoroughly until they found my weed stash, two sweet slaps landed on both my cheeks, still they never stopped searching until my house was looking like a hurricane ran through. Not even my food items were spared.

When they were satisfied, handcuff landed on my wrists as I was led out after being allowed to put on trousers and a T-shirt.

My neighbor Hood choke as everyone wanted to see who the unlucky scapegoat was. The walk of shame was unbearable, I could see my neighbors gasping in horror, I am probably the most snobbish dude around, I do mind my business to a total dot, I don't roll with area folks, I hardly laugh with anybody except you find favour in my eyes, I keep to myself, hence I was arrested alone.

Two brothers were picked up from a hotel nearby before we arrived at their holding facility. It all felt like a dream until we were flung into a rather large cell which had approximately eight other guys, the Jail 'Presido' as he was referred to had an amputated left arm.

As per 'comrades in 'Igboh', we were asked reasons for being there and spent some minutes getting to know ourselves. A rural leader's son was there also, dude was blowing dope and strolling on the road when he was accosted. The Presido asked us to feel welcomed and gave us some tips on what to do next in order to be freed quickly.

The cell is a hundred times better than that of a Police station, there was a small short rug carpet where the Presido and his vice sat or laid, another big mat contained the others, we the new entrants had to manage bare floor. Thankfully there were no bed bugs or insects, and the stink wasn't too bad, a plastic bucket was placed at one corner for urine collection. The only time the place smelled would be when someone wanted to take a leak and uncover the bucket. Damn.

We the new comers were taken out to write down statements and call who would come bail us. I placed three calls to sure contacts but the major thing on my mind was how to drop update on my story thread, unfortunately my big phone was seized, so I had to manage the small one for calls, the phone had to be on speaker phone so that the officers could hear what ever was being communicated.

Unluckily, no one came for me that day, I was hungry like mad but I lacked appetite until I gave up hope and managed to partake in somebody's food after the Presido asked me to join the person.

As the Presido, any food that was brought for any of the inmates, he had the first choice of either partaking or taking which ever part of the food or drink before the owner of the food eats.

Before nightfall, five more guys were arrested, everywhere became congested. The way I laid down, I couldn't even turn or stretch my legs because I'll touch someone, somebody's legs were next to my head, my eyes were open all night long cause the leg kept falling on my head, damn it was dreadful, that was my first night in jail since I was born, I truly hated myself.

Next day, one of my called contacts arrived and started negotiations, I wasn't privy to how much was discussed, I was only brought out so he could identify me before I was taken back to cell.

While he went to source for funds, the second contact I called arrived and promptly told them that my folks were in town, me wey write for statement say my people don park go back village, Choi naso matter wear Mini skirt.

They collected my dad's number and called him, not before mercilessly kicking my ass for writing false statement. My dad wasn't even In town that day but he promised to be back the next day.

The first contact was called to abort his fund raising mission because my dad took over the case. Naso my supposed one night turned to two nights.

On the third day my dad arrived and completely refueled the situation, he was expectedly very mad at me and fully committed me into their hands.
Matured man like me, I was being dragged from one office to another like generator rope, kneeling down and being trampled around like I robbed CBN.

My folks left without so much as a word to me. When I was thrown back to cell, the other guys were shocked to see me return, they couldn't believe that I wasn't freed yet. I didn't mind either, I had grown quite fond of the cell because food choke die, and I was already up to the position of vice Presido, the current Presido had only one leg, the former one was bailed out that morning.

Those NDLEA officers are raking in cash like crazy, the lowest bail collected per head was 15k, and that's if your folks know how to negotiate well, if you fall maga, them go collect you.

One G-boy that was caught with his babe shelled out 50k without complaining despite the fact that no single exhibit was found on him, he managed to throw away what he had on him before he was apprehended, but he still paid nonetheless.

My dad returned a day later with a new pair of clothing for me, I was glad I'll finally be out, he informed me that he'll be right back. Hahahahaha. I saw him two days later, Right back my foot, that man left back me, he simply paid for someone to bring me food twice a day.

Nobody spent more than 2-3 days there, if you did, then probability is that you'll be sent to Maximum prison in the state capital.
My hair that I have never completely cut since 2010 was ravaged with scissors, that was the first time scissors was touching my hair too, I still received 12 scintillating lashes on my back as payment for the dreadful haircut, I swear two drops of tears comot from my eyes, tears I never knew still existed, strong man in the trenches.

One of the officers really helped me, he was charging my small phone and taking my calls while passing me information when he could. We were allowed a phone call per day and toilet section only in the morning, afterwards, you're OYO.

To cut long story short, I finally became the only person left in the Cell, naso I became king for my lane, I was miserable, I'll spend all day singing to myself and rethinking about everything I could think off. I managed to remove a nail from the ceiling (don't ask me how, spider Man movies no be lie), and proceeded to incript my name on the wall of Fame which contained dozens of other names, I never shyed away from adding "Füçk NDLEA" any chance I got.

The officer that was charging my phone became concerned after awhile when he realized that I wasn't leaving there soon, I pleaded that he helped sign my undertaking letter to get me out, he agreed but informed me after enquires from his superiors that I was slated to remain there for atleast two months to recover completely. My folks felt that was the right decision for me.

Nobody asked for my consent, I was treated like a three year old, see old man like me dey knee down up and down.

When I got to know my dire situation, I faked an immediate Malaria syndrome, I threw up at a moment's notice and grabbed my head while rolling and shivering like an epileptic patient. That got their attention. Before then I only had opportunity to bathe once every two days cause I was allowed out by 6am everyday just to either sweep offices and pour out the bucket used for urine collection or use the latrine.

But due to my supposed condition, hot water was heated and I was even given Dettol soap to bathe with, the officers even bought more food for me and I was allowed to sleep in their boss office.

My folks were called and everything were signed, even though I still sorted out my bail money myself. Atleast I don comot.

Anyway I'm back to my parent's house. Back to square one, my properties were either sold, given out while few were returned back to my parent's house.

Heck I was smiling that no one touched my PlayStation, atleast I can continue my rehab at home while gaming all day long and eating mercilessly.

The down side is that, I'm being treated like a drug junkie, all my accounts have been seized and I'm only given money for specific things. Nothing spoil Sha, atleast I'll use this as a motivation to stop cruise.

I spent approximately seven days there, I swear it felt like 700 years....

God no go shame us...

So sorry for ur story but pls there is a different between jail, cell and detention.

If u are saying u are been put to jail which means curt din finish ur mater, and if u are been detained, curt still dey do ur mater.
But in ur own case u are been put to sell and not jail

I stand to be corrected

Stop the killing START[b/] the healing BUT he have never commend Unknown Gunmen and Igbos. As a diehard APC supporter we'll do our possible best to make sure this Biafra [b]Terriost is disgraced. Peter Obi bought Fulain clothes for Igbos and told them to go to the North and start killing people so that people will think it's Fulani herdsmen meanwhile they are Igbos sponsored by Peter Obi, they dressed like fulains. las las I see the Military taking over, I think that will be more better than a Biafra Terriost to rule Nigeria 🇳🇬 We're not fools in this country. Peter Obi sponsored EndSars to overthrown Buhari out of office but it didn't work for him because u can't dare a core Northerner like Buhari and go sort free. This is just the bitter truth many people don't like hearing. If the whole world like let them vote obi he will never rule Nigeria, Go and write ✍️ it down 👇 it's not a threat it's a promise 👉

Just look at what you just wrote down, you cant even proof read and correct your spelling.
I just need a proof and evidence from you that.........

1. Peter obi was the sponsor of ENDSARS
2. That Peter Obi actually bought Fulani cloth for some ppl to do some killing in the north.

You know what I din't but I only pity your future and that or your generation.

Events / Which Country Is The First And Last To See New Year by praisecity(m): 11:38am On Dec 31, 2022
Which country celebrates New Year first?

Most Brits look to Australia as the first country to see in the New Year but this is not the case.

Kiritimati Island - also known as Christmas Island - and a string of 10 other mostly uninhabited islands in the central Pacific Ocean will be the first to ring in 2023.

Despite lying directly south of Hawaii, Kiritimati Island will celebrate the New Year nearly a full day earlier.
Oceania is the place in the world which marks the New Year celebration first. Tonga, Kiribati and Samoa- tiny Pacific island nations- are the first to ring in a new Calendar year as here, January 1 starts at 10 am GMT or 3:30 pm as per Indian Standard Timing on December 31.

They see in the New Year while Brits are still sipping their morning coffee at 10am GMT on December 31.

Where will the New Year arrive last?

As the chain reaction of time zones celebrating causes somewhat of a ripple effect across the Earth, there always has to be someone who has to wait the longest.

The last place to ring in 2023 will be Baker Island and Howland Island, who will see the New Year at 12pm GMT on January 1.

Albeit uninhabited islands, there may not be many party poppers or champagne corks seeing the New Year in, but the day technically ends an hour later in the US territories.
