Lessons learnt: at 60, nigeria still remains a country where the voices of the masses are not heard. It gets worse because people who are running the affairs of this country show it and put it to our face that they really don't care what the masses think or feel. It gets worse that those in charge of running the affairs of the country are so cold hearted to the day-to-day cry ordinary nigerians are made to face. It gets worse when those placed in various positions to serve the masses ends up serving their intentions and greed. it gets worse seeing that these same people who should serve the masses end up using intimidation, deceit, falsehood, lies, etc as their greatest weapon which is outrightly wrong in all sense. It gets worse seeing that every young person who isn't connected to the high and mighty is totally on his/her own as even a certificate you fought hard to earn doesn't give you any guarantee of a life or a bright future. It's gets worse that almost every young one who's thinking of making a life has to one way or the other think of a fraudulent act in order to survive. It gets worse by the day and truthfully speaking, nigeria hasn't done a lot for nigerians, especially the younger generation. Nigeria @60 shouldn't be a thing of joy because we have nothing positive to show for it. But I believe a day will come when all things will be bright and beautiful, when all nigerians, great and small will have a voice, when hope for younger ones won't be bleak, when intimidation and harassment will be a thing of the past, when nigerians will decide where nigeria should head towards and not a few people. I believe nigeria will be great. This is a message of hope to all nigerians who need it.......

My advice, work hard and smart, as much as you can. Even if you don't get a first class, you can beat your chest and say you tried. This is not Mr saying you should settle for less but it e have to be realistic. I attended uniben and I saw people who never dated, attended social events, did religious stuffs, their routine was class, library, night class (reading all night) and still ended up with what we call "a weak 2.1".. These things happen. Been depressed is even a distraction sef. Cheer up and be focussed
