DR Congo are recruiting players? Of course they will. Who else is fighting them for their players?. Switch the nationalities of those player and we will have equal chances of bagging them. DRC decided to pivot from fighting for players that have a fighting chance of playing for european countries and their rates improved. We are still stuck in fighting england for players of course we wont have much success rate. Look at their recent list and pick out players you are sure are very sure will have been capped by their european country if DR did not call them up.

Muiko of Ajax played for Belgium in a qualifier. He is good enough to play for Belgium but chose DrC because their federation unlike ours are serious. Some of the players like Ozoh are not even on England radar yet you assume they don't want to play for Nigeria. Dude plaYs for Derby County. Nigeria is his best option for international football. The problem with some of you is that because a high profile target regects Nigeria like Olise, you guys just assume non of Forien borns want to play for Nigeria which is just dumb. "Top talented players" according to who? The only time we get diaspora borns is when we have foreign coaches. Our local coaches are too lazy to scout and recruit diaspora born. They are also corrupt. The NFF led by Ibrahim Gausau put a ban on diaspora born playing in the age grade teams and local journalists continue to package below average homebased players. These are the root causes of the problem. Address that and every other issue will solve itself. Stop playing dumb. DRC FA have a go to person that helps them recruit from their diaspora. Who is our "person" Lets start from there.

Oga your NFF is the biggest problem. Congo that is war torn is attracting players. What is our excuse? The NFF, Local coaches and the local journalists keep forcing this homebased agenda while neglecting the diaspora. This is where the problem is. Other countries invites their brightest and best while Nigeria is still trying to call up the likes of Sodiq Bending and a 40 year old Ihenacho.

I know they wont reach the semis and may not even touch the Quarters (never can tell though), but I need to see that combo and how they fare with her Semenya's addition. Hopefully Oscar takes as much experience from this to add to the U17 team that looks even more exciting with even more talented girls like Adegbuyi, Harmony, Queen Joseph, Kindness Ifeanyi and co.

How many times will Chidi Harmony repeat U17?? She should be with this U20 team. This team struggles to score goals. We all saw that in the qualifiers yet the coaaches left out Harmony that is our best striker because she is still "Young". This is the nonsence that we like doing that is stunting our football. Harmony and Ifeanyi Kindness should have been part of this U20 team. If not that Edo Queens had the WAFUb tournament, i would have thrown in that Kemi girl too.
