Hmmm... he looks 22? Okay ooo... if you say so.
These guys are stop gap options at best. Also i dont trust the ages of Nwainu and Uchenna. Tebo Franklin is already 25. The guys i am looking at as the future CBs are Ben Fredricks, Emmanuel Chukwu and Vince Osuji. We MUST get Honest Anahor. I don't see why we can't get him to commit. Other African nations are going for top Dual Nats. Heard Algeria is about to secure Ethan Mbappe. Michael Kayode is another player we should get to commit as well as integrating Emmanuel Michael. We need to start thinking post 2026.

No. The NPFL needs to start banning these clubs. Kano Pillars for example should have been banned a long time ago for their violence. Its only a matter of time before people get killed.

The remaining 4 teams were picked due to their position in the FIFA Women World Rankings..!
Maybe Benin 🇧🇯 need to do better in the Rankings.
It should not be based on rankings but on the field ability. Benin W will wipe the floor with Egypt Women home and away. They performed better tthan the 4 selected teams. Lost only 2-0 and then drew 1-1 with the defending # 1 ranked African team. But i am not surprised. This tournament is organized by the most corrupt and incompetent continental confederation in FIFA...CAF.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Predator87: 11:52pm On Nov 04, 2025
Why is Egypt selected ahead of Benin?? They were so poor vs Ghana. Benin can actually play and give the big girls a hard time. Makes no sense.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Predator87: 3:10am On Nov 04, 2025
Why cant the NFF and WAFU pressure CAF into giving WAFUB an additional slot?? Why should East Africa that has the likes of Somalia, Uganda and Tanzania that did didly squat be giving 3 slots? This is the satanic CAF politics that nobody talks about. They need to scrap the regional qualifiers and go back to the old school format. This regional nonsense is just there to benefit the East, North and Southern Africans.

The NFF wont talk but when its time to embezzle money, they will spring into action.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Predator87: 10:14pm On Oct 28, 2025
Nigerian football is on a real decline. U17 Womens being spanked by Italy?, Falcons drawing 1-1 with Benin at home. U17 mens unable to qualify for U17 3 times in a row, U20 mens poor, Super Eagles WC qualification up in the air. If Nigeria was a civilized country, the likes of Pinnick, Gausau, Sanusi and Eguavoen would be fired/forced to resign and possibly be facing criminal charges.

doubt that. He has only 2 appearances for them.
As soon as they cap tied him they dumped him. Italy is not France that can parade 11 black players. They are not even Spain. They dont like Blacks . The way they treated Balotelli, Osimhen and Lookman should give people an idea of how they really are. If Kayode wants to play for Italy, that's his business but he should talk to Frank Onyeka and at least seek an audience with Chelle 1st before deciding.

what do you think of him? Good enough for the SE? I think he got an invitation in the past or was a rumor?
Dude has scored 4 goals in 4 games for Milwall. He definately deserves a look in. This is how Ghana got Semenyo. NFF OTOH will wait until he moves to the prem. By then its too late. Chelle needs to do more to scout some of these players mehn. We are falling behind, The Championship is a tresure trove of naija boys who can help the SEs and bring much needed competition.

Is Nguemo of Cameroonian ancestry?? Never heard a Nigerian bear that name. Good player tho. The new Goalkeeper looks good too. Why coach Bankole benched them vs Canada befuddles me. I hope they improve in the next match.

Its so annoying seeing how lazy the Tech Department of the NFF is. I hear we are now on the verge of losing Edna Imade to Spain. This girl that should have been capped years ago. Now back to the Super Eagles how come nobody is scouting the English Championship for payers? We are so obsessed with the prem but the Sky Championship has a lot of Nigerians who are willing to wear the GWG without any fuss and can help the teams depth. Guys like Arthur Okonkwo and Ryan Alebiosu given our struggles in Goalkeeper and Right back. We are so passive while the likes of Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Algeria etc actively recruit dual nationals.

Real terrorists are being recruited into the army, allowed to be governors, pardoned by the government but MNK is being called a terrorist for calling out the fulani invasions currently occurring all over Nigeria. What a joke this country is.

Guys like Uchenna Ogundu, Emmanuel Chukwu, Emmanuel Michael, Danjuma Lawali, Izuchukwu Okonkwo and Hassan Muhamed Sani would have made the Flying Eagles much stronger and put us in contention for the trophy. Instead Zubaru took scrubs and benchwarmers. angry angry angry angry angry angry

Argentina needs to be direct. All these pass pass cross wont breech the moroccan defense. They need a tall striker up front and lob as many long balls in their 18 yard box.

Just terrible. If we lose Edna to Spain heads must roll.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Predator87: 2:07pm On Oct 19, 2025
This is why i am against hiring local coaches because they are just there to be puppets of the NFF. In 2025 we are still imposing players on coaches instead of giving the free hand to select whomever they want to select. This is the same nonsense they did with the Super eagles that put us in the position we are in now in WCQs. Quota system, DEI selections will always drag us back but these corrupt NFF people don't care because the more HB players the less likely they will speak out when bonuses and allowances are not paid as at when due. They are OK with weaking the team so long as they can keep chopping the players hard earned money. The NFF board led by Ibrahim Gausau and Ibrahim Sanusi is the worst in the history of Nigerian football. It needs to be dissolved ASAP.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Predator87: 2:08pm On Oct 17, 2025
What exactly is the rationale for not inviting Gift Monday? Somebody that is performing at the best womens league in the world right now. Also why do they keep snubbing Edna Imade? Does she want to play for Spain or Nigeria? then there is the GK departent, We are walking into another GK crisis soon with the womens team. We are too reliant on Chiamaka NNadozie and the back ups to her are no where near good enough. Why not call up that comfort girl that plays for Portsmoth? or even the Uzoma girl from the U20? We need to start grooming younger GKs to understudy Nnadozie ASAP.

Morocco's football is so ugly to watch man. All they do is get a goal and pack the bus. Nigeria u20 team of 05 IMO was the best African team at the WYCs. Ghana team of 1993 was also fun to watch. Anyway sha good luck to them but i think Argentina will edge them out like Messi did to us 20 years ago.
When I was researching the performances of Nigerian players in the NCAA, a "Nigerian" name appeared on the top scorers list that piqued my curiosity, but was sad to realize that Canada already capped her.

Meet 18 yr old Skillful forward Annabelle Chukwu, who since 2024 scored 25 goals and 2 Assists for Canada u20 team in 17 games.

She's currently one of the top scorers in the NCAA with 8 goals in 20 games.

Here's a link showing just how skillful she is.

dont see Canada letting Annable go. She is the future of Canadian football. Also the NFF is not serious. We are not even sure we can get Edna Imade. Vicky Lopez was ready to play for Nigeria but nobody from the NFF approached her. Onyeka Gamero is also there but I doubt the NFF will approach her. Our NFF are just too unserious.

If Eric Chelle can't take us to the World cup with the Qualities we have them he should be sacked.Cerezzo will do far better than this malam in the forthcoming Afcon. He knows, understands and plays our players in the right position.Austin Eguaveon is the man
Here we go again. Recycling the same old failed rubbish Nigerian Managers. What has eguaveoun accomplished as Nigerian coach? What has he won a s a coach? What new innovations has he implemented as technical director? That man should have been sacked from that TD position long ago. He should not be anywhere near Nigerian football.

The ref should have given Korea a little bit more time after the PK. At least 1 more attack especially after the Moroccan keeper was trying to waste time. Dude blew his whistle right after kickoff which was unfair. Is it just me or is Morocco getting help from the refs in these tournaments? Korea could have easily gotten a PK in the 1st half as well. The upcoming AFCON is going to be a farce at this rate.

That means he's still eligible for the next edition.
I am not a fan of players repeating class at youth level. If Ariheri's profile rises to Super Eagles level in 2 years like Fredrick, he should not be called back to the flying Eagles.

NFF should push for Golden Eaglets to be at the next U17 AFCON after winning the 3rd place game. Why should east africa get 3 slots and west africa B that produces all the U17 world champions only have 2huh Last edition it was east africa that got 3 slots and that was what pushed Nigeria out. Also East Africa were so poor last time around. None of their teams qualified for the knockout round. This is were the NFF needs to come in and lobby CAF to increase the # of slots for west africa B but unfortunately we have buffoons running Nigeria football

I hope shame continues to catch the NFF board. angry angry angry angry angry angry See what Morocco in the span of 10 years are doing. I won't be surprised if they win a world cup soon. Nigeria OTOH still asking players for bribes and using overaged players. What is Bamayi still doing in an U20 World cup? Morocco is doing well in all levels of Football while Nigeria is wombling and fumbling. Ibraim Gausau, Ibrahim Sanusi and Austin Eguaveon need to resign immediately if we are going to get out this present slump we are in now.

I think we can win our remaining 2 games or at least get 4 points. Saudi and Colombia aren't all that. Kparobo Ariheri needs to STEP UP or he is going to get cussed out by fans the same way Odion Ighalo got cussed out back in 2009 U20 edition. You can't be playing age grade football for Nigeria and be missing easy layups in front of goal. I wish we took that Johnny Spiff kid from River Plate.
