otipoju: I don't like ignorant people ooo.
According to FIBA laws, that ball was not a foul period. Contact with a part of the body before touching the hand is not a foul if the initial touch changes the trajectory of the ball before it touches the hand.
Kicking the ball into the crowd in protest at a referee decision is an automatic yellow which the referee refused to call.
A throw in in the attacking third against Bruno was called when the ball did not cross the line.
The yellow card against bassey was given when he was ahead of Diaz and Diaz was clearly pulling his shirt. Not a foul.
I can go on and on. But it does not change anything. Morocco has invested heavily into facilities as and can host any competition at short notice.
They have not won the nations cup in 50 years and CAF is determined to make them win this one.
No one says Morocco did not play well, but they are receiving plenty of help from CAF.
All the teams they played against are complaining of the same thing. It is not coincidence, it is deliberate I know. But it seems you are the ignorant one here, about how Nigerians think. They would still be talking about it till tomorrow that we had a penalty denied us. A biased refree would have blown for penalty only to be called to the var later. The officiating that day was not unfair and didn't contribute to the loss. Period |

otipoju: Inconsistency in calls is a moral dampener.
Calling fouls for Morocco over the same fouls that he did not call for Nigeria. We lost. We were clearly outplayed. If the penalty call he ignored when a Nigerian player handled the ball in the box was done to Nigeria we will still be talking about it till tomorrow. We're not a serious nation and it shows in the way we always give excuses |

AAA593: Outplayed Nigeria with ref and linesmen abi. U really funny o
Documenting the questionable decisions by this Ghanaian referee (Nigeria vs Morocco):
18’ Brahim kicks the ball out. The referee blows against Osayi and gives the throw-in to Morocco. Note: There were wrong calls before this, but let’s start here.
22’ Brahim clearly handballs while trying to chest the ball. No whistle.
32’ Bassey is given a yellow card for an action that wasn’t even a foul.
34’ Clear foul on Ezzazouli not given.
36’ Another obvious foul ignored.
51’ Lookman is clearly pulled. No foul.
52’ Onyedika goes for a fair 50-50 ball. The referee blows against him. It feels like Nigeria is not even allowed to touch a Moroccan shirt.
58’ Osayi is simply marking Ezzazouli. Suddenly, a free kick for Morocco.
65’ Ezzazouli blasts the ball away. No yellow card.
68’ The ball never leaves the field, yet the referee gives a throw-in to Morocco. Even Moroccan players look confused.
88’ Free kick given to Hakimi when Moses Simon clearly didn’t touch him. It should have been Nigeria’s corner.
92’ Moses Simon cleanly wins the ball from Hakimi, but the referee calls a foul, stopping a clear counterattack.
93’ Clear foul on Onyeka. Referee waves play on.
99’ No yellow card for Brahim after pulling Bruno and stopping an attack.
102’ No yellow card for Igamane after stopping Osayi’s attack.
103’ The referee blows against Bashiru for absolutely nothing.
115’ Clear foul on Osayi. Completely overlooked.
When every call is against you, it will be difficult to progress with the ball. It will affect you psychologically. The officiating clearly targeted the psychological state of the players during play, using it as a weapon to distabilize the team. You forgot to add the part where a Nigerian defender handled the ball in the 18 yard box and the ref ignored the calls of the Moroccans 🤣 Excuses everywhere. Shebi Chukwueze was paid too |

Sports › Re: AFCON 25: Senegal Refuse To Train, Send Complaints To CAF Ahead Of Morocco Final by Predictor3: 6:26am On Jan 18 |
otipoju: It was very deliberate. One Ghanian center referee was put in charge on the field, one South African was put in charge of VAR and another was an Assistant Referee. Then they were both supported by officials from our recent opponents in the in the AFCON group stages such as Tunisia, Mozambique and then Lesotho from the world cup qualifying. We like giving excuses too much in this country. A south African was put in charge of VAR, and what wrong var call did he make against Nigeria? Did the Ghanaian refree blow for a penalty kick against you or did he give the Moroccans a penalty kick against you? Was there a corner kick the linesmen deny you? Did they also cancel any goal you scored or allowed Morocco score an offside goal? Did they also make you lose your penalty kicks? Are they also the ones that put Oshimen to sleep on the field? We just like looking for excuses all the time |

Except you don't read papers or watch television is I never said I didn't hear people used it. My cousin visited on holiday around that time and said instead of firewood that we were using they were using something called saw dust stove in Osun state.. But I never saw it. Up till today I don't know how they "operated" it. I think it had to do with the fact that there was no saw mill anywhere close to my neighborhood |

I lived in Eleyele Ibadan then. I think it was around 94. Our compound was large and not floored so we could use firewood instead. |

ycat: I was recently told in a group that Nairaland no longer allows post that are in support of president Tinubu on important topics especially the ones that punch holes into the opposition narratives. And that it’s still on low heat and pro Apc will be completely silenced right before the elections because the opposition are now running nairaland. Just know that quite a few people are thinking about you A LOT!
Well, Seun has become a big problem, he has helped the enemy to use nairaland to wage wars on Yoruba and has caused Yoruba to lose the information war. Yes Yoruba are docile, but people can see the role Seun played and still playing in destroying Yoruba. This is not about asking for a special treatment, it’s about a level playing field, there’s a reason why RUMBLE is still the best place to be, they understand what freedom of speech is.
Seun also has a lawsuit in his future because if he’s censoring certain posts before they hit the board, then nairaland is not a platform but a publisher with a lot of liabilities. And before they say Yoruba are dragging a fellow Yoruba and a successful one at that, people can see that we have suffered in his hand. Even if the State Dept. is helping you now, trust me, they will leave you high and dry when they’re done using you since you don’t make them money and China has almost cornered most of their interests in Nigeria except the military base.
These are previous 2 of my comments that were not allowed to post . You are taking things, yourself and nairaland too seriously. |

Do you know that IRON SMELTING is the technology responsible for the existence of cars, buses, trains, phones, aeroplanes, fridges, cutlery?
Do you know that MATHEMATICS was invented in CONGO?
Go and read about the Lebombo Bone, the world's oldest mathematical object, carbon-dated to 25,000 BCE, and showing evidence of the knowledge of PRIME NUMBERS!

In 1999 were things as bad as they are now in 2023 in terms of looting at the local, state and federal levels You must be very young or completely uninformed. $16bn was appropriated for power industry under PDP.
