Atiku hired PR lobbyists firms who worked in the diplomatic circles and they assisted him, alongside Obasanjo to help him get his US visa.

You don't allow opponents to confuse and win over potential voters that could vote for you. You destroy their propaganda as quickly as possible.
As president, you don't allow time to fly by before you expose your opponents lies. If you wait and the lies travel very far, it could influence some people and even make it more difficult for you to convince and win them back.

The same APC govt did similar thing to Atiku, so he quickly organized a trip to US.

It does not make sense because we see how the CIA goes everywhere to arrest fraudsters and criminals outside US e.g. Hushpuppi.

They said similar lies against Atiku but he eventually visited US and nothing happened to him.

If I were Tinubu's advisers, I would advise him to visit the US and nothing would happen. It is all politics.
