EducationRe: NUC Bars Honorary Degree Holders From Using ‘Dr’ Title by presiade(m): 11:13am On Apr 01
Did you read and comprehend?
amaridigital:
So who exactly has the right to use Dr?
If NUC claims only PhD holders have the right to use 'Dr' then I expect the Nigerian Medical Association to take them to court and also claim only medical doctors can use the title.
Technological and scientific advancement plus research are changing our world with new discoveries and innovations coming out almost every minute but the best Nigeria could offer is to fight for titles. Shame!

Yes, they had a smooth transition post-Adu era—I believe he mentored good hands that were able to take over from him.

Didn’t Dipo resign before moving to the U.S. with his wife?

I know you’re closer to MCSE than you admit here. I’ve been having numerous minor issues with them for quite some time, mostly poor customer service. I’ve strategically started moving over my trading activities to Atlass Portfolios, keeping only my long-term holdings with MCSE (in the meantime) and my other analog broker.
yMcy56:
That of Mr. Adu, the MD was a long time ago.

Recently, around December, another young Managing Director, Dipo died in The States..
I think this is one of the reasons Morgan is currently experiencing some challenges....
Some internal restructuring likely going on and they're getting over some of the hurdles..

They'll overcome this with time and get back on track...
Make una exercise some patience and understanding with Morgan pls.

Btw, quite a lot of customers are fine and doesn't have any issues with them...

Issue of someone buying and not credited may be connected to that particular account.......because I've not read such issues as such.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by presiade(m): 4:02pm On Mar 27
That was the beginning of their deterioration. The people who worked with the guy sustained the business for a while, but I think they have left one after the other. Now, they have a new set of people none of who is really familiar with the vision or business model.
zendi:
That was long ago, can't be the reason for their present poor services.

Ok, thanks for that info.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by presiade(m): 10:22am On Mar 27
The original founder (Adu) actually passed on (died) some years back—I think 2014/15.
zendi:
I didn't say founder is dead oo.....
you shoot from the hip.

I said perhaps, because we're searching for answers.

May his days be long.

He could be just retired from the business.
Edited: Ayoleke Adu was not the founder but the MD/CEO who was the brain behind their online trading platform (itrade). He died in August 2016.

Eat which humble pie? You guys are funny. Let things rest and just stop tagging me. By the way, it would have been “eat humble pie”, without the article “the“—that’s the fixed collocation (correct idiomatic form).

As I said, I have no time for your epistle. I stand by my post. The author of the fake post has since modified his own post. Go to Reddit and see how many people also think it’s fake.
chimex38:
By "fake" , the general consensus is it's AI generated or Cloned by an individual hacker impersonating as Trump.

You were right to critique the grammar as a sign of being fake, hence the poster humbly went to confirm and get proof. I bet if it was fake he would have also confirmed it as well.

Was even rating you for flagging the grammar wey I no even see on-time.

@boldedSs
But you respectfully have to stop all these pride masked with deflecting English grammar and it's nuances. just admit it wasn't fake. That's how most people will interprete it, which you also know as well.

All these shalaye na just unnecessary pride
wonder what you've got to lose? undecided.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by presiade(m): 12:59pm On Mar 23
I won’t, modify the post. It looks fake as hell, if it’s not fake, as it’s been verified not to be, then the post still alludes to the fakeness and incompetence of the author. Imagine if Tinubu or PEJ (Mama Peace) posted something like that!
GeeKudi:
Maybe you can edit your original post and try to be respectful a litle?

He miscalculated big time. Although, I’m highly neutral like Switzerland because none of the warring parties mean well for my country of birth, Nigeria.

“There are lies, damned lies, and statistics.”—Mark Twain.
Joyful365:
Diesel price was around N1050 in first week of January 2026. Today, diesel price is nearing N1700 per litre.

Find out how many production plants in Nigeria run on diesel due to unreliable electricity supply. 100% of them do.

If they pay more for diesel to run their plants, what do you think will happen to their cost of production if they decide to maintain the same level of output?

On transportation cost, imagine a third party logistics provider who is contracted by Honeywell flours to transport a truckload of flour from Ogun state to Ibadan on a fixed payment of N500,000 as of first week of January 2026 when diesel price was N1050.

Now that diesel price has gone up to N1700, do you think the trucking company will continue to charge or accept same N500,000 for the same trip?

Take pen and paper and do the analysis yourself. You can disagree with what I've said but do it based on data and common sense. Data and facts don't lie.
