You should have an electrical box("distribution board", this is where all wires in your flat are connected to circuit​ brakers and then powered ) somewhere in your house.

it is when this braker go off that u have this issue

Let me give u an idea of what am asking.
My inlaw's house was just burgled a few days ago. It's a well secured house (fence and burglary) but of everything that was stolen I was surprised wires were also pulled out.
This house is completed and in the village.

So are you saying once a thief enters by any means he can pull out ur wires no matter what u do?

Try to identify the forced entry points and reenforce them.....

The main issue is that when a house is deserted and in a quiet area, it becomes a target for bulglars.

Wires are easy targets because they're light to carry and easy to sell.......These thiefs mostly sell to "boulers"...they burn out the wire insulator and sell the copper.

I don't think that'd make sense, what would happen to all the federal police if state policing is eventually implemented? A better plan would be to use the existing federal structure and rebrand it as state police. These LNSC guys are just feeding on taxpayers' money and disturbing the peace.

Currently my dad has a tenant...a criminal one, cos police have arrested him in the house more than 2 times.
He was served 6 months notice b4 his rent expired. He didn't go....after staying for like 3 months, he pleaded he will stay for 6 months and move, gave a post dated cheque. The cheque bounced. He later paid the rent cos Nepa disconnected his light for bypassing prepaid metre. My dad collected the wire and didn't give him..he came with the 6months rent and pleaded to move the next month. After 2 months he has still not moved....the agent reported at the mediation centre....he was invited he didn't honor it. Dad called me today that he disconnected his water...he found a way of getting water by opening the pump pipe in his compound, cos the pipe lock is in ny dads compound...so b4 the water gets to the lock and travel up...he disconnected that part in his compound, then switches on the pump to get water. I told my dad to flush all the water in the reservior out, and pump directly to his tank own from bore hole...leaving the reservior empty. That way my dad has water..but the guy does not have. I wanted to take action with 3 hilux full of soldiers...but dad is a pastor and he believes in rule of law. What can be done in this case. .cos am loosing my patience. The guy feels he is a bad guy and they are scared of him.

Pls hw young are U ?,,,,,,I need to knw so I'll knw wat to advice.......

.2. Go to the nearest Police Station,,,Report that your landlord that he's harassing your wife and threatening your little children....

.3. Make sure your statement and complain is well documented at the police station,U can even ask for a copy,,that police issue won't cost you more than 2k,,,Remember to include the OPC issue in the statement...

.4. Look for the Nearest Lagos State Citizen Mediation Centre close to You and report your issue to them...(Pls make sure Your case is handled by a woman),,,Explain everything to her,"add emotions & ur childrens security issue".....go with copies of Utility bills and Rent Receipt .......Make your case believable,,,,You can do all these within 3days.....Trust me.

.5. Your Landlord will be invited Over,,,,Don't worry, he'll come to you to shout and shout but trust me he'll honour that invitation unless if he doesn't want that house again...........You just grow to be deaf and dumb to abuses......Just for ur family and time.....

.6. If you do all these well,,U'll get at least 3months time to move,,,,FREE of CHARGE,,,starting from when the agreement is reached.

.7.Don't overlook my advice,,a tenant has done it to us before.......
