Recently traveled to Ede Osun State for a documentary job, was flying drone for a different purpose however my assistant spotted the Central mosque and the aerial view looked good. I've known the mosque for long while I lived in the city as student of Federal Polytechnic Ede, now the perspective looks more appealing than ever. Follow me on IG @the_bigdot @dotunomiyalestudios

https://slybull./2018/03/02/my-wakanda-experience-viva-cinema/ A movie date actually turned out to be a PAN-African experience as I watched the movie along with African counterparts from Uganda, Kenya and Swaziland. I just added this cute lady to my friends’ list and Black Panther didn’t make the situation better as the release came in at this point in time, just had to do this amidst my busy schedule, I work almost on every days of the week, as I mind my responsibilities to my employer, I also have to try my hands on few hustles that could bring in some extras. I eventually found the time to take this cute lady on a movie spree, we got to the cinema and was told we have to pay N1500 per ticket, left for me I would have chosen the other way but its not just about the movie, the moment we share today will always be there to cherish so I gave the vendor my card “swipe it”. I should have known God was showing me a sign when I was debited in error, I had to pay twice with the hope that the error debit will be reversed as promised, we got into the hall and my guest was the first to observe the screen was unusually dark but I didn’t pay much attention until the movie started which was when the outburst began. I never wanted to appear as a bad customer but could not help the situation when a man also complained about the same thing, that was when I walked up to one of the staffs and asked her to come in and address the situation, I got angry when I was told nothing can be done and that was how the cinema has been showing the blockbuster movie that I’m paying extra for. I can’t pay for this, I could have simply waited for the movie to become commercial and watch it at my comfort zone rather than paying to watch this dark stuff, she then refunded my money along with the two other guys and a lady standing beside us, the lady was even putting on a Wakanda scandal, she was so prepared for the movie only to be disappointed. IMG-20180302-WA0007 Since we all want the same thing at the moment, we became friends, googled up another cinema and found out Viva would be screening Black Panther in an hour, its a good bargain for us we said, considering someone already told us Viva would be a better choice, so we chattered a cab. With the traffic, Viva Cinemas was just a like 35 minutes drive from where we were, Ibadan is a very big city with traffic here and there and now considering its a drive home time, everyone on their wheels, it was while we were on the road I had to ask one of these guys where he is from, I actually had a conviction that he was from the Northern part of the country as that was the only part I could liken his intonation to, but was surprised when he shook his head in disagreement and told me he was from Uganda, Idi-Amin was the only thing that came to my mind, the other guy is from Swaziland while the lady hails from Kenya, thanks to twitter I told her, your county has two presidents, she laughed, they are all in Nigeria as students of Pan African University, to my surprise, they all complained that the Nigerian heat is too much, you haven’t been to the North I told them. We got to Viva Cinemas and booked out tickets, and to our surprise, ticket was sold for N1000 with a pack of popcorn and a Pepsi, Viva is the best I told the lady attending to me, the lady smiled and explained that they only offer the compliments on selected days of the week, but to me the cinema already won my heart with the first encounter, this is where I will keep coming even without free popcorn and pepsi. IMG-20180302-WA0008 We booked ticket and watched the movie, it was a great experience as my friends and I were able to pick out something unique to our different cultures from the movie, my friend from Swaziland said part of the music track was his local dialect while we all could also relate to sambisa forest and certain names that sounded Ibo, the native attires of the king is of a superb design, please I need a designer. The movie is a fiction anyone would wish of becoming real, maybe in the future, it was a nice movie to watch, our stress used in getting to Viva paid off eventually, we took pictures and exchange contacts after the movie, and vooooom! we all went home. |
Each time I take my sit at the round table, my crave for the little pieces of meat filled in the little bowl is always inestimable, the spicy goat meat commonly called ASUN, a finger food which stands out for the unique taste of goat meat with a mix of pepper and other spice condiments. Most people who do not crave for it has probably tried it once and probably took to there heels for the way the steak is being laced with pepper, but that happens to be what I like about it, throw in some chunks of the meat and push it down with a gulp of the drink you’re taking. If haven’t found love in ASUN, its probably because you haven’t found a chef who has a delicious formula, one of the most pocket friendly finger food you can find in any relaxation spot. https://slybull./2018/03/02/asun-for-the-love-of-goat-meat/ |

My dear friend, if you're able to read my comment please take it serious, leaving a job is not easy as it seems or as people talk about how they left their own jobs, we are all different from each other so same application does not work for us all. Ask yourself, what is going to be your next line of action if you resign your current job, you want to search for a new job or you want to give entrepreneurship a trial because you have the skill, that is certain. In the recent months I wanted to resign my buciness consulting job, I was even at the bank of the river at that time and prepared to jump, but then I asked my self is this was going to be a wise decision considering the fact that I was not prepared to look for another job, the only thing I wanted to do was to go into business and practice photography on a full time basis. The I realized I needed knowledge which was I sought after. I read some books both online and printed books, but there was a book I bought, that happens to be the best N2500 I spent judiciously in 2017, it was a book written by Teju Oyelakin (Teju Babyface) "Secrets of the Street" if the book thought me just a thing, it made me understood job transition is not that easy, but for you to take that bold step you need a well devised plan and that was when I reversed my decision of resigning and posted it to a later date. My advice to you is that do not just wake up on morning and make a drastic decision of resigning, before that you need a plan, if you will be looking for a new employment, you need to be sure the job has been offered to you before you think of resigning and if you will be taking the other path, my friend lets use a new paragraph. Leaving a salary job to become an entrepreneur is a transition that practically shows a camel through a needle's eye, you wake up every morning knowing your salary will be paid, your time has been booked, even if your're sick, your employer is at the receiving end and you might still get paid, I call it free money. now if you leave, you will have to create a job for yourself, make the money and pay yourself salary and also pay staffs if you have one so what if the business fails, who will be held responsible? you are going to hold yourself accountable. So before you leave your frustrating and annoying job to become and entrepreneur, make a plan of 2years ahead of you, create the future you will be walking into, make sure you are able to save a year salary so that once you're out of job, you can pay yourself that same salary for a whole year while your plan/business grows, do not misunderstand me, this money is not your capital, you also have to arrange for capital on a different side. To cut my advice short, the simple thing here is that you need a clear plan before you resign and do not base any of your plan on a wishful thinking, our God perform wonders but do not depend on wonders, let wonders be a bonus, one basic thing you can do now is to start something small of your own while you are still employed and make sure your employer knows nothing about this because if they know, you will be fired. Anyone who has watched the Last Don or Godfather movie will understand what has happened here, Davido has been legally absolved but its obvious he knew about the death of his friend, how would your team escort someone to the hospital without your knowledge? They must have asked to distance himself from relevant evidence that can attach him to this crime. Of everything the legal team talked about, nothing was mentioned about the disappearance the guy who brought tagbo to the hospital. Son of the rich |

Tour Guiders: Agodi Gardens has enough attraction to have tour guides, visitors should not just be left to wander around the garden on their own, with the help of tour guides visitors can get to enjoy their visit better as they talk about the animals, uniqueness of the trees, the Lake and so on. The Lake: The Lake is currently a good attraction yet I think its advantage has not been fully maximized, the lake has a very good length on which a boat can be rowed over, and there should be side attractions while moving over the water.
|
More Investment: I really commend the efforts of the Oyo State Government in transforming the regular land space into such marvellous attraction, but the garden needs additional investment which will equally generate more revenue to the Government. The Wildlife: I think the standards of the animal kept in the forest area of the park should be raised, visitors will be happier if the standards they see at the garden can be compared to that they see in movies.

This is apparently one of the best spots you can visit in Ibadan, the location has a major uniqueness which is the hands of nature. The Gardens has a very good natural feeling, from the Lawn, to the Lake, the Trees, Birds on land and Air as well as the Domestic and Wild life animal present, the Location is actually superb. I don’t think the fun here ever stales, because the gardens refreshes itself each at the instance of every new dawn and aside from the natural elements present, you can talk about the artificial effects present at the garden such as the Swimming pool, Restaurant, Palm wine Joint, Cool Music, Amusement Park for kids and so on. Talking about Ibadan generally, I have nowhere else to think of when relaxation comes to my mind, the garden covers a wide space of land, there you see families, couples, friends forming circles around the park conveniently and having there fun, to what I observed, hanging around the park is cost effective. While I was there this weekend, I enjoyed the place and I also notice somethings which tells me that the garden is not at the peak of what it could offer visitors yet, it currently looks more of a virgin and fertile location to me.
