Wailers continue wailing, we like it like that. And as a reminder to wailers, please avoid the road, it is an highway to fraud. Leave it for us, let us enjoy our fraud in peace. If your father has any iota of integrity, you will back up your words and avoid using that road. But we sabi una, na una go call Lagos blue line fraud but rushed it after completion, na una go call 2nd Niger bridge fraud but as we dey talk, una dey use am everyday. Na una dey call Dangote refinery fraud but today, they're the praise singers of the refinery. The biggest clowns in the world are the wailers.

PoliticsReps To Visit Lagos-calabar Highway Project Site Ahead Of Inauguration by PressMyButton(op): 2:47pm On Apr 19, 2025
As President Bola Tinubu prepares to inaugurate a completed 30-kilometre stretch of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway on May 25, the House of Representatives Committee on Works, chaired by Akin Alabi, has announced plans to conduct an oversight inspection to ensure the project’s readiness.

The first phase of the project, covering 47.47 kilometres from Victoria Island to the Lekki Deep Seaport, is underway.

Works minister David Umahi confirmed that 30 kilometres of this section will be ready for inauguration by May 25.

“As a Committee, it is our constitutional responsibility to ensure that all federal infrastructure projects are executed in accordance with the highest standards of quality, transparency, and accountability,” said Mr Alabi.

According to the politician, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is a significant investment by the Nigerians.

“We must do our due diligence before its commissioning,” he stated.

He noted that the inspection is crucial for accountability and ensuring public funds are utilised effectively.

The committee’s inspection will focus on assessing the quality of construction, adherence to project timelines, and implementing safety measures.

“Our visit is not just a routine check,” the lawmaker added. “We want to ensure that when Mr President arrives to commission this road, he is doing so on a stretch that reflects value for money, durability, and safety for all users. This is about performance and project delivery.”

The oversight visit by the House Committee on Works is expected to provide clarity and reinforce public confidence in the project’s integrity and the government’s dedication to infrastructural development.

The project is expected to enhance connectivity along Nigeria’s southern corridor and potentially contribute to economic development in the region

PoliticsRe: PDP Governors Prefer Tinubu To Atiku – Fayose by PressMyButton(op): 1:14pm On Apr 19, 2025
Real recognizes real, winner.recognizes winner. PDP recognizes Jagaban, infact, 80% of PDP are with Jagaban. After 2027, wailers will go back to crying about INEC and Judiciary, that's their only coping mechanism. Meanwhile, the pathway to victory is already clear and obvious for APC. Some people will remember biafla or death after 2027 election, mark my word.

PoliticsPDP Governors Prefer Tinubu To Atiku – Fayose by PressMyButton(op): 1:14pm On Apr 19, 2025
Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose stated that governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, prefer President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Alliance, APC, to their own party’s former presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Fayose made the remark while featuring on Channels TV’s Politics Today, where he described the coalition proposed by Atiku as a “dead horse.”
He noted that the stance of the PDP Governors’ Forum in Ibadan, Oyo State, sent a clear message that they are not aligned with Atiku.

According to Fayose: “The coalition is a dead horse ab initio. Tell me one positive person that has given his words in support of this coalition.”
He continued: “The governors’ stance in Ibadan is to tell Atiku that we are not with you, we are going nowhere, we have our own identity.

“That coalition is just the imagination of people trying to bring it to fruition. It’s a waste of time. The governors are fighting for their own survival, and they don’t need an Atiku to fight for their survival.

“In actual fact, most of them prefer a Tinubu for their survival than an Atiku. Don’t let us deceive and fool ourselves; there is nothing called coalition. Obi can’t go to Atiku; Atiku can’t go to Obi.

“You see the rate at which people are decamping from PDP. How many people are defecting from APC? Something is fundamentally wrong in PDP that needs to be fixed.”

PoliticsThey’re Preparing Ground For 2027, Adopt Trump’s Approach – FFK Urges FG by PressMyButton(op): 9:28pm On Apr 18, 2025
Former Nigerian Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has urged the federal government of Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu to adopt the approach of the US leader, Donald Trump, by sealing the country’s borders.

Fani-Kayode stated this while reacting to the incessant killings in Nigeria and particularly Plateau State.

DAILY POST reports that there were recent brutal assault on Zilkke village in the Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau, during which gunmen killed over 50 people, injuring scores — including women and children — and razing more than 40 houses.

The attack followed just two weeks after similar violence in Bokkos LGA that claimed over 80 lives.
Subsequently, Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, then called on residents of Zilkke village in the Bassa Local Government Area to remain vigilant and defend themselves amid recurring attacks by suspected criminal elements.

However, speaking on the development, Fani-Kayode said the killings were being sponsored by foreign elements in a bid to destabilise Nigeria and prepare ground ahead of the 2027 general election.

In a video post on his verified X account, Fani-Kayode said:

“Here we go again, more killings in Nigeria and in particular Plateau State, all being orchestrated by the usual suspects from outside the country sending people from north Africa and the Sahel region to come and slaughter our people.

“They are slaughtering both Christians and Muslims, including northerners and southerners. They are doing this now simply because they want to destabilise Nigeria and discredit the government.

This was orchestrated and the same thing happened in 2014 prior to Jonathan’s defeat the next year.

“They are doing this now, preparing ground for 2027. We know who they are, these are foreign elements from the west including Israel and a number of others because they don’t want a stable and peaceful Nigeria or for our people to succeed in their democracy endeavours.

“These are all planned in an attempt to divide us and plunge us into a senseless civil war to be killing our selves as brothers while the real enemy comes from outside the country who do not wish us well.”

He added, “We should adopt the approach of President Donald Trump by sealing the borders and stop these people who have no business being here from coming. Let’s do what Donald Trump is doing by building prisons for them and most importantly eliminate them.

“God’s will shall be done and Nigerians, both Christians and Muslims from the north and south will stand as one.”

Here’s a man whom the Tinubu APC-led federal government claimed had no hand in the crisis in Rivers State choosing instead to place the entire blame on Governor Fubara, just to justify the illegality of the declared state of emergency.

His comments, actions, and inactions have shown that he is the chief instigator of the entire crisis and he has sworn that there will never be peace in Rivers State.

He was governor for eight years, and during that period, he ruled like an emperor, treating the state as his personal estate. But today, he refuses to let another governor serve the people.
Atleast he said the matter is in court, which means he's using legal means to fight his battle. Same cannot be said of opposition sponsoring insecurity and terrorism against the ruiling Government.

PoliticsRe: Rep Solomon demands return of N300m hosting rights to Rivers, criticises NBA by PressMyButton: 9:33am On Apr 18, 2025
“The NBA cannot circumscribe or amend the clear untrammelled and discretionary powers granted the President by Section 305 of the constitution. Neither is the NBA in a position to interpret or determine what measures qualify as extraordinary – which the President is required to adopt under the same section.
This is what we have been trying to enlighten wailers but they have refused to learn, even the NBA who are supposed to be learned are acting like a road side charge and bail lawyers because of N300 million bribe they collected from Fubara.
The constitution empowered the President to exercise extraordinary measures in a state of emergency and the extraordinary measures can be interpreted to mean suspending the Governor and the Legislative house of the state as deemed fit by the President. However, only the Supreme Court can interprete what the extraordinary measures means. Those road side charge and bail lawyers should instead be enlightening the masses to await the SC verdict on the case rather than taking sides and making ignorant conclusion.

BusinessUzondu Chimaobi Gets 4 Years Jail For Refusal To Accept Naira As Legal Tender by PressMyButton(op): 2:42pm On Apr 17, 2025
Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, convicted and sentenced one Uzondu Precious Chimaobi to four years imprisonment for his refusal to accept the Naira as a legal tender.

Chimaobi was arraigned by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, on February 5, 2025 on a two-count charge bordering on refusal to accept the Naira as a legal tender.

One of the counts reads: “That you, Precious Chimaobi Uzondu, on the 10th of December 2024, in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, refused to accept Naira (Nigeria legal tender) by accepting the sum of $5700 as a means of payment for a purchase of a cartier diamond bracelet with serial number (12345678) and you, thereby , committed an offence contrary to Section 20 of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, 2007.”

He initially pleaded not guilty to the charge, leading to his full trial.

Subsequently, the prosecution presented its first witness, PW1, Owolabi Oyarekhua Jude, an operative of the EFCC.

Led in evidence by the prosecution counsel, H.U. Kofarnaisa, Jude told the court that “the Commission received intelligence on the activities of a jewelry company called Unlimited Jewellers Limited, “whose owner is one Uzondu Precious Chimaobi.

“The Company, which deals in jewelry at Atlantic Mall, Chevron Drive, Lekki, Lagos intentionally tags and sells its products in Dollars as against the CBN Act, 2007 ,which stipulates Naira as the only legal tender in Nigeria.”

Continuing, he added that “Subsequently, a covert operation was carried out, where an undercover operative of the Commission disguised as a customer to purchase a Diamond Nail bracelet that was tagged $6000 and bought it for $5700.

“The company refused to receive Naira and demanded Dollars as a means of payment. The payment was made and receipt was issued in Dollars . The owner of the company was arrested and taken to the Commission’s office.”

However, at the resumed sitting on April 14, 2025, the defendant opted to change his “not guilty” plea to “guilty.
Consequent upon his guilty plea, Kofarnaisa, prayed the court to rely on the evidence earlier given by the investigating officer, and admit the same in convicting the defendant.

Kofarnaisa, thereafter, tendered the defendant’s statement and other evidence to further prove his guilt and they were admitted by the court.

Justice Owoeye then adjourned till Tuesday, April 15, 2025 for ruling.

Delivering judgment, they found the defendant guilty and gave him an option of fine of N50,000 on count one.

The Judge sentenced him to four years imprisonment, with an option of fine in the sum of N600,000 on count two.

His Cartier Diamond wristwatch was ordered forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The convict bagged his imprisonment when he refused to accept Naira by accepting the sum of $5700 as a means of payment for a purchase of a cartier diamond bracelet. He was charged to court and convicted.

“political charity”
Obi don cast, everybody has decoded his game plan. No wonder Twitter community labelled him " agbotikuyo".
His supporters say he has been doing this for a long time, but here are some questions his supporters have not been able to answer;

1. Can you show us any pictures of Obi doing philanthropy before becoming a Governor?

2. Can you show us any pictures of him doing philanthropy in the North before 2023 election?.

His philanthropy began when he became Governor, even at that, it wasn't his money, it was Anambra State's money. Then after leaving office, he was giving out money only to South East region, mostly Anambra. So, the narrative that he has been doing this in every part of the country since he was born is a big fat lie.

However, I won't say he should go and feed Anambra people, I think Soludo has been up to the task lately and has improved security situation the state. My own demand is for the Agulu fraud to set up camera and go to Enugu communities that have been attacked and displaced by herdsmen. Let his charity begin from home.

PoliticsAnambra Never Chop Belle Full, Go Feed Them – Gov Alia’s Aide Blasts Peter Obi by PressMyButton(op): 12:00pm On Apr 16, 2025
The Principal Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on National Programs, Civil Society, Voter Education, and Strategic Interventions, Solomon Semaka, has accused the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, of attempting to use Benue State as a platform for political relevance.

In a statement issued on Monday, Semaka described Obi’s planned visit to internally displaced persons, IDP, camps in Benue as “political charity” alleging that the former Anambra State governor was disguising political maneuvers as humanitarian concern.

The governor’s aide further claimed that Obi had a history of “emotional blackmail and mind games” targeted at exploiting the plight of vulnerable Nigerians for personal political survival. According to him, the Labour Party flagbearer was trying to raise his profile ahead of possible political realignments by leveraging humanitarian visits to states like Benue.

He said, “Mr Peter Obi cannot ambush Benue State with charity. Even the United Nations does not operate this kind of charity model. What he planned to do was nothing short of a political maneuver disguised as humanitarian work, and the people of Benue are wiser now.”

Semaka’s comments come against the backdrop of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s earlier directive banning unauthorized visits to the state by high-profile individuals, citing security concerns.

The order, the governor said, was aimed at managing movements and preventing activities that could jeopardize the fragile security situation in the state.

Recall that Obi had recently lamented his inability to reach Governor Alia ahead of his planned visit to IDP camps in Benue, a development which the governor’s aide dismissed as “bad charity etiquette” and a deliberate attempt to force his way into the state without proper engagement.

Semaka reiterated the administration’s commitment to its partnership with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and noted that Governor Alia would not allow political distractions to derail ongoing governance efforts in the state.

“Benue State is currently in the hands of a bold, courageous, and fearless leader who will not succumb to cheap political antics,” the statement added.
