I grew up in the junior seminary though the discipline there was not this much, but I must tell you that the Roman Catholic church are so independent, no external forces can intervened in their matters not even the government, not an NGO. The Catholic council and the governing body guiding the school will not take serious action against their own. You may go extra way to spend money on this case but it will not yeild positive result as you think, so I will advise you to just treat your cousin or probably withdraw him from the school if you wish to do so.

It is not necessary for you to take it that far, the teacher might have a wife and family that depends on him for a living, so if he loses his job, how is he supposed to fend for them? I'm not supporting what the teacher did but the best thing to do in this scenario Is to get the school authorities to make sure that the teacher never touches or disciplines any student no matter what. I passed through seminary as well and believe me, what they did to your bro is little compared to the level of discipline undergone there, finally it is meant to get the best out of us.

This is the main problem we have in Nigeria. Abused psychological sick person would beget another. Just because you were physically abused and mentally abused doesn't make it right. By the way, what are you proud of? Which covid19 vaccine have you developed? How have you changed the world? If you haven't done any of this, you have no reason to be proud of your physical and psychological abuse.

And even if you scape through and become healed, not everyone would have that chance. Nothing makes ABUSE right
