The Other Side of Reality

Reality maybe defined as real existence, all that exists or happens, a type of existence, totality of real things. This may be a dictionary definition of reality, but what actually is reality.
Some philosophical schools of thought say that for something to be real, it has to exist in the now. So can you regard all that happened in the past as not real? What about events in the future? Can’t you consider them as real before experiencing its reality in the present? I fault this view because it is coined from a third person perspective ruled by time and limited by space, which infact limits the already limited theory to the ambits of this time ruled sphere.
Another view that is widely accepted is that for anything to be real, we must be able to see it, feel it and touch it. But elementary physics tells us that the color we actually see isn’t the real color, but a reflection of another color that isn’t absorbed by the object. This explains why under a different kind of light the color of an object changes. Another typical example is air. In a closed room, you may not notice the presence of air because you cannot touch or feel air, but when the air is in motion by virtue of a fan or ventilation, you cannot deny its reality.
What then is reality? What is that side of reality that makes it actually real? How can you know what is real? What isn’t ?

To answer this question, we need to understand some basic ‘realities’ about reality

Beyond Time

Reality is beyond time. It relates with the past, interacts with the present and determines the future. Reality functions independent of time. Infact when time ceases, reality still remains. The reality of Jesus is beyond the fact that he walked the face of the earth 2000 years ago(past). But that, he is “…the same yesterday, and today(present), and forever(beyond time)”(heb 13:cool.

When moses encountered The lord in the burning bush, and he asked whom should I say sent me, the lord replied, “… I AM THAT I AM …”(Exod 3:14) This was a remarkable statement the Lord used to describe his reality. I AM is beyond time. Whatever exists now( or has existed before), and would with time cease to exist, I dare to say unto you reader IS NOT REALLY REAL.

Beyond the Senses

Reality is beyond the senses. Mystics would agree with me that There is a realm that is beyond this sphere which is more real than what you see. In fact this world you see is just one of the worlds that exist; the scriptures supports this too “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”(Heb 11:3) . it talks about “worlds” , not just the “world” you can see. Faith is an attribute of the human spirit. It is through the human spirit that we relate to things that are unseen. The earth is an off-shoot of the spiritual. It is the physical eco-department of the universe. Physical beings live on the earth which is in the spirit world. Everything you see and relate with physically, either real or unreal was first conceived in the spirit. You may not be conscious of this but you are actually living out a script that is already written(and re-written ) in the spirit. The scope of this piece is not on the spiritual but on reality, Either way , I cannot talk about one without mentioning the other.

Durable

Reality is durable. It not only stands the test of time or is beyond time, it stands at the end of time. Everyone is talking about the end of the world, about the great destruction that may occur. Some have said the end would come by winter 2012, even if I or you do not agree. There is one thing we all must agree at, and that is the end will surely come. This piece is not about the end, but about Reality (what will remain at the end of time). The bible supports the theory of the end, it states that “Heaven and earth shall pass away…”(Math 24:35) the earth shall pass away, it is indeed passing away. The question now is ,what will remain after the passing? I will answer this question in a coming article titled PHILOSOPHY OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT

The Reality of God

Who is God? How do you know he exists? Is he real? Or is he just a fabrication of our imagination? Going by scientific techniques , it can never be proved that there is a God. Science tries to explain the unexplained by postulating theories. So far , there is no theory that proves that there is a God. It talks about a Big Bang, it talks about Evolution. These theories and many more try to explain how things came into be but not who brought them into being. They talk about the various laws that govern the universe, the talk about planetary order, they talk about the solar system and the galaxies but do not talk about the originator of all. Well, they actually cannot, Because the Creator is beyond science. He is beyond the senses, while science thrives on the senses. So how can we find this being that we cannot see, touch or feel?

Firstly, by looking at the things that are seen, felt or touched. Within and upon all the works of nature are the finger prints of a supreme being.

Sailing Stones

From the sailing stones of Death Valley in Nevada ,Usa (mysterious moving stones of a packed-mud desert), to the Aurora Borealis(naturally occurring lights that create intriguing and spectacular displays in the sky), To the Bermuda triangle, to the great falls of victoria and many more clearly shows the eternal power and Godhead of a creator. “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” (Rom 1:20). By looking at nature, you can tell there is a creator.

Aurora Borealis

You may not be able to touch or feel him. But the many wonders of the earth testify unto you that there is a God. You may not be able to explain it, but you cannot deny it.
Secondly, you can see God by your spirit. For God is a spirit. Why some find it difficult to believe that there is a God is because they look for God in the physical realm. They long to hear a thunderous voice, to see a burning mountain, to see an old man sitting on a throne.

Bermuda Triangle
God is none of these. And as long as you are looking for physical attributes you can relate with, you will never find God. God is a spirit and you can only relate with God by your spirit. Not your mind or your senses. Yeshua in a discussion with a woman from Samaria said, “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” (John 4:22) .

Victoria falls
Many people call God in prayer and worship just like the people of Samaria, but not many know who they call in prayer and worship. You have to “know” that there is a God before you can relate in prayer or worship. Without this “knowledge” you cannot worship God. And if you are engaging in worship without knowledge, or for the sake of religion I would say unto you like Yeshua said unto the woman “Ye worship ye know not what”

they do everything that impoverishes them now blame government

1.they will not save or invest.a janitor in my office bought lace of 25,000 meanwhile she earns 10,000 per month. She was able to pay 3000 and whenever she sees the woman coming she will dodge. The people collecting her salary times 10 will save o

2.you know your mother was a poor tailor struggling to survive, your father is a bricklayer na them go do third wife for a bus driver who can barely live up to his responsibilities
3.na them go born full ground and be distributing children about

you go and do house help for chief tayos family
you go and do labourer in so so factory
you go and do sales girl in alabas saloon
you go and sell clothes

then when society abuses them and takes advantage of their poverty they will blame the government

the size of the family barely matters, more often than not the meal for the household is cooked once, whether they are 1, 3, 5 or 10, as long as the meal fits in to a single cooking pot. There is a very good chance it would last well over a month, even if the family cook thrice in a day..

Lolz, u re correct, I ve read many books on the whites, ranging from social to economic to health, they are just bunch of confused beings,

Nevertheless, I just hope our so called leaders will be wise enuf to follow them, and not be @ par with them, because they have made lots of mistakes that they are struggling so hard to correct, only if we are smart, we can only learn from their mistakes. American destroyed both the monetary and normal economic policies of this world due to their selfish and I too know attitude to life, I only hope we don't follow their foot steps.

Just like my grand mum will say, read the bible as a smart being and not a follow follow being, take the good ones that are @ per with ur conscience and forget the bad ones.

Until then, all these gullible beings will forever be the problems we have n this country. Let me just stop here, because I can go on and on and on.
Dude we should stop decieving ourselves . without the whites alot of Nigerians will still be in the Bush. I no mention names oh lipsrsealed

then they should reduce their eating patterns and shut down their vaginas and stop bringing children they cannot take care of into the world and then blame the West. Till today the nigerians who can afford to take care of 10children at a go without feeling anything are the ones who have 2or 3 kids. The ones who can barely eat are the ones giving birth 8 children when they know the nigerian economy is not friendly and there's no one to help.give birth to the kids you can take care of so that resources and food can go round and everyone will be happy

the Street urchins we have today are a product of unplanned parenthood and parents who cannot afford to take care of them . leaving them on the streets to survive with the mentality that God takes care of children. Wth!

Btw, I use gas, my parents use gas too, I know the benefits of it, I use them because I can afford them.

Not everyone can afford it.

True thats where innovation comes in. We have to be creative and make the best out of the situation. The GOSPEL TRUTH IS THAT GAS IS EVEN CHEAPER. SAVES YOU TIME, NEATER, HEALTIER, AND GIVES THE MASSES EXTRA CHANGE IN THEIR POCKETS
. BUT THEY DONT KNOW THIS
chigoizie7:

Exactly my point, and since the govt has failed the masses, what would u rather they do? Fold their arms and wait for govt to live up to its expectations? NO!!!!!!, they will survive on their own, and that what we have been doing over the years, trying to survive without the govt.

Channel ur grievances to the govt and not the masses for trying to survive despite all odds, stop calling them archaic.

Health / Re: EDUCATIVE: Dangers of Cooking with Fire wood by prettydpri: 9:55am On Aug 13, 2015
Good point. But in order for africa to grow they have to stop all these survival mentality that they struggle for everything. Thats when they can channel their creative energies to better their lives and stop this MAN MUST SURVIVE or MAN MUST WACK mentality and starts developing their potentials. if the whites didnt stop surviving on firewood they wouldnt have discovered gas. Now we must say enough is enough. there is a better life . Embrace the better life Africa
chigoizie7:

U can not live when u can't survive,
It takes surviving to live.

Please u people should stop comparing africa to other parts of the world in terms of this, we still ve a long way to go, and until we get there, all these una talks na trash.

How dare u compare a man who does not work but try beyond all odds to survive to a man who does not work but his govt makes sure that he survives by giving him an un employment allowance?

How do u compare a man who does not have money to go to skul to a man who does not also have money and his govt provides his tuition?

How do u compare a man who has a business idea but has no money to start up and approaches either a. Bank or the govt for a start up loan only to be told to bring his head for collateral? And a man were funds are already mapped out by his govt begging people to come and take the money to invest? (Talk of credit cards and all that)?

Please u people should stop all these una nonsense comparisons and see the real thing, reason well, please leave ur house one day, take a stroll around so many naija homes and streets and see how people live, see how they survive,

U can only live when u can survive, if u can't survive then u re dead already.
