This guys need to calm down. Settle this thing amicably and let Nigeria move forward and grow in grace and peace!!! |
Abeg get your facts right next time..!! Don't lie to people. First of all, which city in Nigeria are u using as a basis for this comparison? Abi na Village? I just got pissed reading this article sef. One bedroom for 4000 a month? Taxi 50naira? Jeans 1000? Kai bro's!! Abeg naaaa |
But men shaa! Why string her along when you where planning marriage with someone else?? Nigerian men....! Kai |
Oh my God!! Men are so heartless...! Ontop how much My heart goes out to the family of the deceased. |
Abeg wetin this man come dey talk again?? Why not just shut the hell up than getting yourself into more trouble...! #immature...! |
My dear, Nigerian airlines na problem, all of them. I can't count hw many times I don see issues for mid-air. These days, i'd rather do road. No matter how long, I feel a bit safer. I'm glad nothing happened. Thank God |
I see the men here, saying they like the hair and wish ladies to wear this hairstyles! Abeg, if you see babe carry this kind hair now, u go gree toast am? No be village girl you go call am ? peeta89: |
Honestly, I think you need to get that "I made a 2.1" mentality off your head. A lot of us, didn't have anybody to assist us, we had to survive. With 2.1 we didn't get what we felt was worth our hard work. Start small, I also made a 2.1, a lot of my mates who weren't so good had gotten jobs before me. But I believed my time would come, so I prayed and fasted. Infact, I took up a teaching job which wasn't fantastic, while I kept searching. Wrote enough test and went for interviews. Until I got my first job thru WOM(word of mouth) and then I kept applying till I moved from that job to where I am now, even now, i'm still searching. So, you've gotta be strong, don't give up, keep praying, believing and trying something must happen! Ok! If you commit suicide, you think anyone would care? Drop self pity, when you do something small, you can socialise and meet people, you never know where your help would come from. Just make sure you're doing something. |

Quote author=Kio67 post=34261611]Monday has made it 1007 applications and Cvs I have submitted to various companies.I have submitted online, offline, hard and soft copies but yet no job for the past 4 years. The worst is that am an orphan and no one is willing to help. I don't have uncles or connections to rely on. I trained myself in school which is unizik with a 2.1(PAE) but yet no job. I barely eat nor clothe myself. Matter of fact, am a living bone and suicide is my only option. Am already a living dead. If there's somone out there that can give me breathe again please come to my rescue.[/quote] |
I doubt if Gender inequality will ever be eradicated in the African race. A male church member of mine once told me a woman isn't suppose to go beyond a first degree at school. If she dares think let a lone dreams a masters degree, she wouldn't be a good wife. That a career woman is a no no! So all she shld do is cater to her husband and children's needs. The islamic religion a woman has no voice at all...! So when I read Chimamanda's write ups,I appreciate them. A woman is human too. |
Oga Jona, you tried your best, it just wasn't good enough! So go on..., cos I just don't wanna say all that's on my mind pleaase!!!! |
Oh no!! This is bad, really bad....! A lot of us, have been there once or twice to chill with the popular "chocolat royale ice-cream"!! People are mean o. |
NZEGWUAGU:Bia, do you even know anything about history? The ibibio-efik and ibos have been marrying themselves long as I remember. Akwaibom shares boundary with Abia state. Her husband gave her an opportunity to speak and be heard! Something a lot of Nigerian especially ibo men will not do! They would rather their wife becomes a full time house wife, bear children and warm their beds. So enough of all this Ibo this, Efik that, ibibio this! |
I've never turned the back of 20 naira to even notice anything! Yea great piece! I truly learne something new today! letsbet: |
Buhari this, Buhari that! Everybody dey call Buhari! Abeg make this may 29 do come. Make this action start mbok!!! |
And I thought SA had sense! This guys just proved me wrong! No wonder the whites keep ruling them fools! You kill your own black brother, yet the whites who enslaved you for decades are untouchable. Yes, GEJ took the right step, and we support him! What happened in synagogue wasn't an intentional thing! And instead of them to worry about the xenophobic thing, the idiot is busy trying to paint Nigeria black with the whole boko haram and 200 missing girls story, like the world doesn't already know that! This is the beginning of your greatest nightmare, isreal has denied una visa, nigeria don show una small, by the time U.S drop their own, una go begin xenophobic that useless Zulu king and una self there! Wicked people! |
Calabar, very peaceful serene place to live! Activity filled, no dull moments. From the culture to the food, to the people to the places! Ancient city, clean and not disappointing at all. A part of it brings one closer and makes one remember their root. From the marina to the cinemas, great place to chill and feel like one is abroad, when indeed in Nigeria! Tho a civil service state, but if you've got money and wonder where to spend it? Think calabar! I love love that place. Benue state. Makurdi is an okay town to live, cost of living is very cheap, calm city, places to hang out, though quite far from everywhere. Their airport isn't working. So one might have to do a lot of hours getting there by road. The pple are welcoming. The major tribes are Tiv, Idoma and Igede. Wanna save some money, live peaceful, think about your life and shut urself outta things or pple u don't need? Think makurdi! Abeokuta! Ancient city with a lot of rocks, bout 45 mins drive to lagos. Very peaceful town! Quite affordable, one can live there and save a fortune. Few places to hangout tho. The presence of Mapoly and Unaab tetiary institutions is good for the small town. You wanna relax think abeokuta. Lagos! The land of my birth! The city that never sleeps. The land of opportunities! But with a lot of stress! The traffic can be killing but, if you come to lagos with your dream, work hard, and you'll achieve it. The cost of living is surprisingly affordable, one can get almost anything cheap in lagos! From cloths to food. Just need to know the right places to shop! I could go and on about lagos. You wanna take your career or business to the next level in Nigeria? Think Lagos. |
