cutebear: You have a good travel history. Go and register your business. I'm sure you have some deposits in your account that are more than 88k. You can't tell them that it's from a business when you can't prove it with registration. So, register the business, open a business account and start running it for the next few months. You should also start paying yourself monthly salary from the business account to your normal salary account (pay the same amount to yourself on the exact day of each month). This will show that you have multiple streams of income. Remember, based on several refusal letters we've seen on this thread, the ECOs believe that having a business account doesn't prove that you have access to the money. That is why you should pay yourself salary. Also try to keep your salary account as clean as possible. No random large deposits from people. Let that one go through your business account. In addition, try to have sales invoices/receipt of sales. You need as much proof as possible because let's be honest, 88k salary job is not a strong tie to Nigeria. I was once denied when I was even earning about 350k with several work bonuses in millions. Also, are you married? Do you have children? That can also support our application Hello, Do you mind I email you ? Thank you |

Politics › Re: Lagos APC Primaries: Tinubu May Have To Cry! - Ayeni Faith Damilola by prettyeyo: 2:36pm On Oct 02, 2018 |
Africlegend: Tinubu May Have to Cry!
Asiwaju is a wonder to behold. Tinubu is incredible too. He's undisputably the main man in Nigerian politics today. He's the most powerful whenever the President is not contesting. He was a senator when Nigeria's eyes was closed. He was a Governor when the sun was just rising and, the father of Governors at dawn. Tinubu fought, alongside others, Abacha and won. As Governor, he survived Obasanjo's greenades. Goodluck Jonathan understands that his name is not something of a joke. He did not only enthrone Buhari, but made his former aides vice-president and ministers in his government. Would you then argue that Asiwaju is not something else?
But, Tinubu may cry soon. Either Ambode loses today's primary or not, Asiwaju has a whole lot to fear. When people call you master, don't rejoice, tell them you are only a servant. Unfortunately, with the humiliation of Ambode, Asiwaju is openly calling himself the master of Lagos politics. He's calling himself the driver of Lagos' wheel in the public glare. He's telling lagosians that they are but his balls. He's telling the discerning that he owns Lagos and everything that breathes within its walls and, of course, all that is true; but it is better not said. Tinubu is openly counting his slaves, and our foregoers said wisely, that when you count your slaves, they become so sad. There will always be a counter coup. The people of Lagos will demand freedom soon, they will revolt and, history will repeat itself. The Jagaban of Lagos is planning his own fall and, I'm afraid.
The people will soon ask questions. They will ask Tinubu what the sins of Ambode are and, by the time such questions are being asked, not many answers will drink water. Thesame Ambode that was once acclaimed the best Governor in Nigeria? The same Ambode that has transformed lagos? Would lagosians have to replace him simply because he had refused to be totally submissive to the master? Would they reject him because of his personal issues with the Jagaban? Will any lagosian accuse Ambode of under-performance? Not even when it is public knowledge that this young man has pleaded with Asiwaju, not even when the people of Lagos know that his wife has appeased the god of Lagos politics.
Tinubu has enemies within the APC, not many Abuja politicians are pleased with him, or so it looks. It will not be a cup of tea to fight Ambode (maybe then as the opposition's candidate ), the opposition, the people of Lagos and, his in-house enemies at the same time. Discretion is a better part of valor. This is only an agidigbo drum, only the wise dances to it and the knowledgeable understands its lyrics.
Ayeni Faith Damilola. faithdamilolaayeni@yahoo.com Shut up your mouth!! You are mad. When Ambode ripped Lagosians of good roads where were you? When tankers blocked the road made us live in pain, did you not see?? Tinubu and Ambode fight is not our business. We just don't want a governor who walks around not doing anything Bout our pain. If Ambode paid you for this rubbish article then you are crazy! Y |
Politics › Re: We Are Behind Ambode’s Second Term Bid – Councilors by prettyeyo: 5:18pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
Lagosians don't care, if they like, let them make themselves 25 councillors...! We will vote you people out. All of you are mad. The councillors are even the worse thieves. Especially Coker Aguda, itire Ikate wards...! What have you guys done since you came into government ?? You all will be shocked. Some of us don't even care about Tinubu or Ambode fight. We just know this is not what we signed up for in Lagos. Bad bad bad roads everywhere, dirty smelling streets and you people have the guts to come and talk. Wait and see how we will vote Ambode and all his councillors out!!!!! sosanova: Councilors in all the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of Lagos State on Sunday said that are behind are behind the second term bid of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, saying ‘courageously we are saying it boldly that we have adopted the Ambode’s second term’ The Councilors alos debunked a media report claiming that they shunned an invitation extended to them by the State Governor, saying the story was another fabrication by detractors who are jittery over imminent defeat in the rescheduled governorship primary election of All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday.
Addressing a press conference at the headquarters of Ambode Mandate Support Group (AMSG) in Ikeja, the Councilors, who had earlier endorsed the second term bid of the Governor, said the false report published by a national newspaper was unfortunate, adding that it was particularly surprising that the said newspaper failed to fact-check the story before publishing.
APC primary: Tension, anxiety of the moment got the better of Ambode – Sanwo-Olu Leader of the Councilors’ Forum, Hon Kolejo-Monsuru Adeniyi, who addressed the media in company of hundreds of his colleagues to show that they were united in support for the Governor, said the report should be ignored in its entirety as it did not represent the true state of affairs.
“There is no iota of truth in the report that we shunned Governor Ambode’s invitation and we are here today to say to the whole world that all Councilors in Lagos State are behind the second term bid of His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Today, we are courageously saying it boldly that we have adopted the Governor for second term. “This is the second time we are doing this. The first time was in Amuwo-Odofin and today being 30th of September, 2018, we are saying it again that all Councilors in Lagos State, we are endorsing Governor Ambode for second term,” Adeniyi said. Responding, Director General of AMSG, Hon Hakeem Sulaimon said the Councilors deserved to be commended for standing firm with their decision to support Governor Ambode for re-election, saying they have done what party leaders failed to do.
He said: “I congratulate you because those who are supposed to be the conscience of our party have failed to do so but you (Councilors) have been courageous enough to come out and endorse His Excellency, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, the Governor of Lagos State for second term.
“Yesterday, we had a meeting with Councilors here and while the meeting was going on, some people quickly went online. Vanguard online to be specific and they said Councilors in Lagos State shunned Akinwunmi Ambode.
Tribulations of Ambode: When good performance is not enough “Those behind the false news know the implication of the endorsement because Councilors are truly the grassroots’ managers because elections can only be conducted at the Ward level and that Councilors are the true representatives of the people at the Ward level.
They know that with Councilors being with His Excellency, an attempt to manipulate the process will be very difficult, and that was why they were desperate to present fake news to the public,” Sulaimon said. The AMSG boss said the Governor was particularly appreciative of his endorsement by the Councilors, assuring them that he was committed to their welfare and issues surrounding their work in the various LGAs and LCDAs across the State.
“The Governor is not only appreciative of the fact that not only that you (Councilors) came to endorse him again yesterday but that after you heard the fake news, you have come again to physically debunk the report which your massive turn out here,” Sulaimon said. While urging the Councilors to go out enmasse to mobilize members of the party and vote for Governor Ambode on Monday, Sulaimon urged them not to be intimidated, adding: “Once you have your membership slip, insist on the fact that you must vote.”
