Sarina6002: For those asking for prove of funds and all, I did education bond when coming here and I did not have to show any sponsors account, I paid the 7k euro and Edu sent me a receipt I attached the receipt with my documents I submitted to the embassy, I only get a letter (preferable a letter head I did not show any company’s registration certificate ) from my mom saying what she does and that she is my sponsor and that I have paid my fee and did the education bond.
For those asking for cheap school, Dit is the cheapest, and among the best in the country but around 8-12k (but it’s highly competitive)
Dbs, Griffith is from 11,500 to 13k
Nci, university of limerick and UCC are among the best free range from 12k to 16k
Trinity and UCD are the best but fre is from 16k to 35k.
Feel free to ask any question Thanks for all the information |

senitop: Who has seen this on Ireland embassy website?
Update 26 June 2020. Summary: Irish VACs to reopen in Abuja and Accra on Monday, 29 June 2020. New appointment system in effect. Original documents must be submitted along with a colour copy of all application documents. If you don’t bring the colour copy, then there will be a facility to make a colour copy at the VAC for a nominal fee. Only long-stay visas ('D' categories) will be processed initially. Short-stay Visas ('C' categories) will not be processed due to ongoing restrictions in Ireland. Certain Priority/Emergency cases will continue to be processed as normal. Those travelling will be expected to serve a 14 day period of self-isolation upon arrival to Ireland. The Irish Embassy is pleased to announce the reopening of the Visa Application Centres (VACs) in Abuja and Accra on Monday, 29 June 2020. This is the first stage of a plan to resume full services in the coming months on a phased basis - subject to Irish Government Covid-19 measures and any local restrictions that may be in place. The operation of these VACs will be carefully monitored by a range of stakeholders including VFS, Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) in Ireland and will be guided by public health advice set by the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) and World Health Organisation (WHO). An appointment system has been introduced to assist with capacity and social distancing requirements. Initially, the VACs will only allow long-stay applications to be made ('D' categories – further info below). No tourism or short-stay visas ('C' categories) will be processed at this time due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions in Ireland. Please be assured that we fully intend to resume our full visa service just as soon as public health concerns have been abated in line with Irish Government policy. That means we’d make only one photocopy na.. abi. |

If you want a one on one guidance, I'll be happy to provide that possibly at a cost since you feel entitled. Haha, sorry sweetheart, I don’t feel entitled, just learn to be polite. Thanks . Love u |

My agent shared this with me, hope it helps
One of our irish University partners shared the below with us. "I was on a call yesterday with Visa manager, Enterprise ireland and all the colleges and universities in Ireland. Statistics from the EI office and consultants in Ghana showed a worrying increase in coronavirus cases in Nigeria and Ghana so please stay safe, follow protocol and hope we all make it out the other side. Visa manager David O’Rourke said plan is for VFS to open on Monday 22nd June Documents will be processed at VFS as usual, then sent to Embassy in Abuja where a colour photocopy of all documents will be taken and couriered to Dublin to be reviewed by the 3 ladies that went back to Dublin from Visa office when coronavirus broke out. These 3 ladies will be reviewing Study Visa applications from Nigeria and Ghana only. Only Study Visa's will be processed. No other visa's will be looked at. Study Visa's have full priority and will have extra people resources. They said that 8 weeks is the processing time and it shouldnt go beyond this. I asked about Appeals from Jan 2020 and they said they had about 120 appeals that they will start getting back to people next week. However he said that people wont get Visa stickers in passports until Nigeria has been put on approved list of countries that can arrive into Ireland. However he will process Visa applications and students will be told whether their visa application has been successful or not. Then once travel is confirmed and open, Visa stickers will be issued in passports back to students. That’s the generalist gist of what was said yesterday on the call. There were some other questions about whether allowances be made because of currency devaluation and so sponsors accounts may not now show required sums. There is no change to Visa - sponsors would now need to show €10,000 for living expenses for students year of study. Also questions about students paying in instalments of €6000 then payment plan. They said that even if a college allows this, the sponsor at point of Visa application still needs to be able to show the full tuition fees and living expenses regardless how they are allowed pay it by the college. (NOT THAT MOST SCHOOLS REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT – THIS HASN’T CHANGED) EI in Lagos noted that there is about a $7 billion backlog on foreign currency in Nigeria and its very difficult to get Foreign currency at the moment with people having to resort to the blackmarket for a reasonable rate Ghana consultant also noted that the foreign currency in Ghana was a major problem" I hope this helps. |

Gab9607: Did you show proof of the 2 sponsor relationship with you as a member of your family? & was your application done by you or an agent? Hi, It was a visit visa for the UK. It wasn’t done by an agent. I was refused on grounds that i had no financial ties, dependent relatives, do not work and own no assets in Nigeria. However, my dad was supposed to cover the trip expenses. |

verine: Please I need urgent help with this clarification. Is IElTS (General Test) accepted for Irish study visa? I wrote the General test(6.5) now,I heard from grapevines that I will need to retake the Academic Test as the general is not a requirement. I’have surfed online but nothing tangible. Please I would appreciate help on this. Thanks! You’d need to write IELTS academic. That’s what is required for study. Except you are applying for migration or work purposes then the general test will suffice. You can also take duolingo test, its accepted for September entry. Its easier and cheaper. Result evaluation takes a short time(5days) |

ICaSNg: Both schools don't have early 2021 intake. They are september programs i.e you either join the program september 2020 or in september 2021.
You are confusing 28 days bank statement requirement which is strictly for the UK with Ireland. Ireland requires proof to sponsor and 6 month bank statement of both student and his/her sponsors.
Cheers ICaSNg.. please I’ve been expecting your response... |

ICaSNg: Unfortunately, Irrespective of Edu-bond or not, visa application processing time is at 6 weeks to 12 weeks.
Edu-bond is basically to show you have your expected living expenses already saved in ireland. Unfortunately depending on the visa officer it may back fire on your application if you do not have close ties to your sponsor and you've not presented enough bank statements and proof of livelihood to prove legitimate income earning of yourself and your sponsor. What if someone has been unemployed. Would that give them a reason to reject ur visa? |

Lincon11: They expected each sponsor to have at least 8M in their account, a friend of mine that got her visa; her sponsor has 8m. I was shocked to get a refusal because after using 2 sponsors, they still included their property documents which worth even more than what they have in their account, which is enough for a sponsor to have. I’m applying to UK that has less stress, It’s not a good thing to have refusal. It broke my heart Hmm, sorry dear.. its not funny, I’ve had a refusal before... |

faithzy: I don't have experience, before submitting my application, my agent explained to me on how to present my finance. From what you have said and the documents you have to support the funding, I see nothing wrong. It should fly. Remember the dude said one of the account was not accepted because of tax clearance, he also did not state if he made full payment and how much balance he has to pay. Ok, thanks |

faithzy: He has to explain his source of funds with proof, then explain any large lodgment made to the account. Ok I think you have quite an experience.. I would love to ask, my dad transferred some money into his personal acct from his business acct. last yr December. It was meant to cover up my living expenses for the school i got admitted to then.... the money is still there After my fees are deducted. He would have at least 10m left. I have also explained this in my personal statement with proof of business ownership. Is the money sufficient? Cos the guy above said his both sponsors had 5m+ yet they said insufficient funds.... |
