Appeal takes a very long time. How do you know it was rejected?. Was it from Abuja or Dublin that u got the news and when was that?

I saw it in the last decision list published for Dublin, so are u saying I shouldn't appeal? Its really weighing me down

Good afternoon everyone, my visa was rejected and I'm getting my docs tomorrow. Please is it advisable to appeal as lectures for my course begins around October 5.

Put those documents in a brown envelope, including 2 colored photocopies of each and send it to the embassy in Abuja via a courier service.

Address the envelope to the embassy and also write your reference number (very important).

Please can I do same for bank statement? I submitted a bank statement from December last year. Can I send an updated one?

You only need six months statements of account

Would they reject the one I presented, cos that's what my sponsor printed and it was already late to print another one.

All the lodgements that are lump sums in the printed account statement should be explained. You can submit the 7 months statement but it should not be older than 30 days.

Ok thanks

Please I have a question, my sponsors bank statement is 7 months. Would it still be accepted?
Again, would a bulk sum that was made before the 6months interval still be questioned?

So, I got my Visa approved today. I applied last year and was rejected but was told I could appeal. I did this and with the help of Icas and most especially God, I appealed the decision and today, my visa was one of those on the approved list.

I am awaiting the reopening of our international flights and will be in Ireland when school resumes in September. My advice is to put God first and seek the counsel of experienced people on the forum. I pray that we are all favoured in the coming weeks

Please what was the reason for refusal initially

Good day people pls I took duolingo test they said they couldn’t certify my results because the speaking is not natural it looks rehearsed that I should appeal. Please has anyone had this experience before and do the appeal work or do I have to take the test again .
Thanks
My first result too wasn’t certified because my cursor left the test page.., i appealed and explain that it was because I’m using an on-screen keyboard. However I couldn’t wait for the appeal result so I just took another one, for free

Hello folks
I submitted my application at VFS Lagos today and I think there are pieces information y’all need to have:

-2 COLORED photocopies of all your documents (Bank Statement included qnd 32 pages of all international passports)
Trust me I paid hugely for this negligence by vfs website.

This means your documents must be in 3 sets i.e Original of all and two different sets. You should make extra copy of your bio data page cos you'll definitely need it.

Take extra cash... It's important

Asides the 27k paid online to book you'll only pay 28950 at vfs.

- Bring ATM card no cash allowed for payment (maybe cos of the way covid spreads) to pay the 28k.
- Come early, that time on your appointment is scam. The earlier you go, the better.

I sense there will crowd in coming weeks cos the capturing machine used by the Ireland desk is faulty and this makes each person to spend close to 30 minutes getting captured.

Shalom.

I wish this was me cry. No slots for booking available anymore.

For those asking for prove of funds and all, I did education bond when coming here and I did not have to show any sponsors account, I paid the 7k euro and Edu sent me a receipt I attached the receipt with my documents I submitted to the embassy, I only get a letter (preferable a letter head I did not show any company’s registration certificate ) from my mom saying what she does and that she is my sponsor and that I have paid my fee and did the education bond.

For those asking for cheap school, Dit is the cheapest, and among the best in the country but around 8-12k (but it’s highly competitive)

Dbs, Griffith is from 11,500 to 13k

Nci, university of limerick and UCC are among the best free range from 12k to 16k

Trinity and UCD are the best but fre is from 16k to 35k.

Feel free to ask any question

So you didn’t submit any Financial affidavit? as I heard it’s compulsory. I dunno
