geektrovert: Time travelled on foot = x Therefore, time travelled on bike = 9-x Since total time = 9
Distance = speed x time Distance on foot = 5x Distance on bike = 8(9-x)
5x + 8(9-x) = 51 5x - 8x +72 = 51 3x = 21 X =7
Distance travelled on foot = 5x = 5*7 =35km I think I agree |

olasquare22: You need to think outside the box pls. If N30 was deducted from his monetary compensation for spending just 9months instead of 12months. i.e 3months proportional value of the shirt (N30) is taken as penal charge. Then the price of the shirt (Valued for 12months by the examiner) is 12/3*30 = N120. Just think am well. Thanks, I wouldn’t have explained any better |

None gave me a success mail. Im not going to relent. I know I’d get a job, probably these ones are not meant for me. |

Did mine yesterday, with internet explorer atlast; just verbal reasoning though. It was fair cos i familiarised myself with some past questions. Few of the passages i saw were in the past questions I studied, so, this made it easier for me to read them without spending much time. One of the passages I remember is about short-sightedness and intelligence; that passage was in the past question too. We hope it comes in our favor. |

Education › Re: Uniben Direct Entry Admission Guide Thread 2016/2017 by Preye21: 11:50pm On Dec 20, 2018 |
Let me reiterate once again that this thread was created for the following reasons...
1. To keep ourselves abreast of informations relating to forms' obtaining, registration and choice of course with O'Level requirements. I remember some people could not submit their applications successfully till closing date on jamb website last year because of one jamb regularization policy (whatever that means) and I hope we will not be victims of circumstances this time around. #Bettersafethansorry. lol
2. Uniben prides it's DE admission on PUDE score and I believe it's never too late to getting and discussing some of their past questions to brighten our chances. Personally I have some past questions (Science combination though) in soft copies (PDF) and I won't mind sharing with interested people, on request.
3. To practise some of these past questions here when the time is right.
I beseech us to try and contribute on this thread to keep it informative, active and lively.
Don't be afraid to say what is in your head/mind because out of every nonSENSE, there must be a sense! Please can you forward the past questions to my mail preyeibulu@gmail.com thanks in advance |
