Samsung Galaxy A50 is one of the many phones launched by Samsung in 2019. It is part of the long list of phones in the new Galaxy A series. Infinix Zero 6 Pro, on the other hand, was released at the beginning of 2019. The two phones are within the same price bracket and almost similar features. But they have many differences as well. Which one would you buy? Below are the highlights of the two phones: Samsung Galaxy A50 Specifications Price: 102,300 Naira Display: 6.4 inches (1080p x 2340p) Processor: Exynos 9610 RAM: 4GB Storage: 64/128GB Battery: 4000mAh Cameras: Triple 25MP+8MP+5MP rear, 25MP front https://onlineshoppingkenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Samsung-Galaxy-A50.png Check full specs here https://luram.co.ke/samsung-galaxy-a50-specs-price/ Infinix Zero 6 Pro Specifications Price: 114,000 Naira Display: 6.18 inches (1080p x 2160p) Processor: Snapdragon 636 RAM: 6GB Storage: 128GB Battery: 3650mAh Cameras: Dual 12MP + 24MP rear, 20MP front https://onlineshoppingkenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Infinix-Zero-6-Pro.png Judging by the specs, Samsung A50 outshines the Infinix Zero 6 Pro. And it’s cheaper! Clearly, Samsung has changed tactic in 2019. Infinix and Tecno selling point have always been good specifications at a low price. Samsung and Huawei have decided to used the same strategy to beat them at their game (Tecno and Infinix). Good examples are the Huawei Y9 2019 and the Samsung Galaxy A50 and Samsung Galaxy A30. These phones have excellent specifications and have amazing price tags. Infinix and Tecno seem not to notice this. Their latest phone, the Zero 6 Pro has “okay specs” - More like their last flagship (Infinix Zero 5). And then Infinix went ahead and priced it higher than the Galaxy A50 which has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, Samsung is an established Technology Powerhouse. Many people trust the brand more than they trust Infinix and Tecno. If you are an Infinix fan, would you still buy the Zero 6 Pro? Do you care about the brand more than you care about specs? The new Samsung Galaxy A series and Huawei’s Y series should be a wake-up call for Tecno and Infinix. |
There is no doubt that Samsung is serious about the budget market. The new Galaxy A series is enough proof that Samsung is planning to shake this market that has been dominated by Tecno, Infinix, Huawei and other Chinese brands. Notable phones in the new series are the Samsung Galaxy A10, and the Samsung Galaxy A20. Below are their key specifications: Samsung Galaxy A10 6.2-inch display, 720p x 1520p resolution Exynos 7884 chipset 2GB RAM 32GB internal storage Back camera: Single: 13 megapixels Front camera: Single: 5MP megapixels 3400mAh battery Samsung Galaxy A20 https://luram.co.ke/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A20.jpg 6.4 inches display Exynos 7884 CPU 3GB RAM 32GB internal storage Dual rear camera 13 megapixels + 5 megapixels Single front camera 8 megapixels 4000mAh battery Will these phones make you forget about Infinix, Tecno, Huawei, and other Chinese brands? Would you buy any of them? |
Samsung Galaxy M10 is one of the new phones launched by Samsung as it strives to recapture the budget market. Over the recent past, Samsung had lost this market to the likes of Tecno and Infinix. People loyal to this brand can once again. Here are the key features of the Samsung Galaxy M10: 6.3 Inch display, 720p by 1520p Exynos 7872 chipset 2GB RAM 16GB internal storage Dual Back camera (13 + 5 megapixels) 5 megapixels front camera 3400mAh battery https://luram.co.ke/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Samsung-Galaxy-M10.jpg The Galaxy M10 also has a 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage variant. View Samsung Galaxy M10 full specifications here The price of this smartphone is around 55,000 naira. Well, it’s not one of the cheapest phones out there, but it can compete with phones from other brands within the same price range. This is not something that can be said about the cheap Samsung phones we have seen in the past. Other Samsung Galaxy M series phones that were released alongside the M10 include the Samsung Galaxy M20 and the Galaxy M30. |
Infinix Hot S3X Vs Infinix Note 5 - which one should I choose? Torn ![]() |
There are many choices out there. Tecno Spark 2 is a good choice, you can also check out the Spark 2 Plus if you are willing to go deeper into your pockets.. |
Well, at that price you check out budget phones from Tecno. There is the Tecno F2, Tecno F2 LTE, Tecno F3, Tecno Pouvoir 1... |
If I have to choose between this phone and the other recommendations you gave at the end of your article, I would not hesitate to go for the Tecno F2 LTE (4G). I think Its a better phone |
The Tecno F2 LTE is a much better phone. It has 4G, a better battery and a fingerprint scanner. |
SadiqBabaSani:Well put, I'm anxiously waiting for the Note 5. Infinix Note phones are the best phones the company makes.. feel free to disagree |
Oukitel K6000 Plus seems like a pretty decent phone, but from experience, I have learnt that sometimes we can be deceived by specs. You can't get the best if you are not willing to spend. https://onlineshoppingkenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Oukitel-K6000.jpg |
Its amazing how some people hate on Tecno but still buy Tecno phones. It seems Tecno Pouvoir 2 and Pouvoir 1 are the first phones in the series that is replacing the L series...big battery phones.. |
Yes, I think we are going to see more phones with this aspect ratio. In fact, I think we will soon be moving to 19:9 or better. All companies are working to eliminate the bezels. Apple did it with the iPhone X, Tecno with the Camon X and Camon X Pro. |
greenhulk:I agree with you, Xiaomi is definitely a better brand... |
The Honor 9 Lite beats the Hot 6 Pro hands down. |
Tecno smartphones and Infinix phones dominate the cheap phones market right now, don't argue with me..it's a fact |
You can go for the new CX Air or Tecno CM. But if you are willing to adjust your budget a little, go for the Camon X or Tecno CX. They are all good phones for any person with a budget like yours... |
Randerl:I partly agree with you. However, the Spark 3 Pro is a better phone than the Tecno Pop 1 F3. |
Unfortunately, most people will go after a higher megapixel count without recognizing that so many factors affect the quality of pictures that a given camera can capture. But the bottom line is, both the Camon x pro and the Phantom 8 are good camera phones. |
kekilika:Was not aware,i Take back my statement |
if you are into selfies, go for the phones like Tecno X Pro. If you have deeper pockets, you can go for the likes of Oppo F11. These phones are camera centered but have very good performance profiles. The Oppo F11 has very good looks too. If you are shopping on a budget and you want an all-round phone, don't forget that Xiaomi has some of the best budget phones. |
If this trend continues, Xiaomi phones might overtake the likes of Samsung and Huawei. Xiaomi is fast becoming very popular because their devices are of good quality and they have wallet-friendly price tags. This company also seems to have a robust product development department. Xiaomi is the first company to launch a gaming phone, the Xiaomi Black Shark. |
The oppo A3 looks just like the oppo F7 |
Is F series replacing the W series? BecauseTecno F2 is just like the Tecno W3 with a few changes... |
Tecno has done very well. Their phones give us specs that we could have spent a lot more for if we only had to buy the likes of Samsung, Huawei, Apple, and others. I'm totally impressed by the New Tecno Camon X Pro -6.0 FHD display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, Face ID, Fingerprint and more... at almost half the price of phones with similar specs from the popular brands I just mentioned. |
Awesome phones. They are good looking and have very attractive camera specs. However, was kinda disappointed to discover that their bodies are polycarbonate plastic. Was hoping the phones had metal bodies, especially the Tecno Camon X Pro. Overall, the Camon X Pro is great - 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 24MP selfie.... aaaaahh, I just have to overlook the plastic a true beauty |
Not a bad phone especially to those on a budget https://onlineshoppingkenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Leagoo-Kiicaa-Power.png |
Are you for real? are you actually comparing the Infinix Note 4 Pro With the Samsung Galaxy Note 8? |
I love this device but having the same issue too https://onlineshoppingkenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Infinix-Note-4-Pro.jpg |
The difference between the Tecno Phantom 8 and the Infinx Zero 5 Pro is very small, these two phones are practically the same in my opinion. |
Infinix smart is a not a bad choice, the only important thing missing from this smartphone is 4G https://onlineshoppingkenya.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Infinix-Smart.jpg |
Infinix Note 4 Pro is awesome, two months down the line, I'm glad I bought it. |
