For me, after WordPress it's Blogger. To some point I even prefer blogger to WordPress considering some some disadvantages. You have touch to worry about using WordPress, even too much of plugins may cause your site to be misbehaving, trust me I've been the before.

Not only that;

Webhosting, if you are planning to grow big then you need to spend big atleast buy a good Webhosting with enough bandwidth that can sustain up to 5k visitors per month, I'm sure you all knw how much that costs. Some will say it's not that expensive but always know that the lower the price of the Webhosting company you wanna buy from the higher the chances of your site crashing down either saying bandwidth exceeded or loading very slow or even saying internal server error.

All this doesn't happen on blogger, and many people do say you have full control over your blog, that's true but you can still get almost everything done on blogger as well if you know how to surf with the right codes. There is no effect of buying Adsense, only try not to get scammed. As for the difference between US and Nigerian Adsense, there are many difference.

1. Firstly verifying a US account is very stressful because it's not your country but Nigerian is very easy coz the mail containing the verification code will be sent to your home address.

2. In terms of payment, you can payout on PayPal, Payoneer and Wire transfer, but getting paid on Nigerian is a lot more easier, you can pay directly to your bank account.

You are really missing lots of organic traffic if your blog is not submitted to google webmaster tools but not only google webmaster tools can bring you huge traffic, bing webmaster tools is also there. Well am a blogger too, from personal experience I will advice you to go with a top level domain name provider like Godaddy. Their platform are very easy to operate and to add to it you can get a .COM for as low as 0.99$ that's like #400 for the 1year while you renew d next year with $10.

Using an international domain provider will also boost your SEO and he'll you to rank easily. My site is hosted by them and I have never had an issue with their services.
