olarent:Lol, politcians know this but have refused to do it, except the people jointly demand for it. This will solve many problems. Infact, for me, South west would benefit a lot from this. South west already has lagos, it can make mad money from lagos alone. I honestly always wonder why South west is not in the front pushing for dissolution of Nigeria or at least, complete regional system of govt. South west willl honestly develop so fast than any other region in Nigeria. I dont know why they arent pushing for this. It is just so crazy. I am Igbo but the region that will suffer the most if Nigeria split today within southern Nigeria is the south east. They may pickup later due to how hard working and smart their people are but the first 10 to 20 years would be brutal. But u see south west, they will start smiling instantly. |
Nah,break up NIgeria is the right choice bro. One Nigeria gives every ethnic group a command to allow any Nigerian to live there. So, break up Nigeria so that these stuff will end. Also, I expect this type of stories, fear politicians baba. U maybe surprised this story isnt true. The police could pick criminals up from cell and do this dirty business. Go and watch the Oval and see how bloody and dirty politics can be. For me, I am supporting a split of Nigeria, it will save many lives. |
Mattswaggz:I have been saying this, without serious protest, no democracy can work. Especially african leaders, they so selfish. US might have given them small US dollars, small properties here and there and boom, they can sell out their entire country. The day Africans start making life a hell for their leaders, things will never change. Also, why are these forien countries so wicked? Like why? Like why cant they just leave us alone. |
ublight:I believe if APC has anything against Obi, they would have arrested him since. Elrufia is cooling in prison. Infact, APC would have taken advantage of this since. Obi has been their biggest threats, reason they talk about him more than anyone else |
helinues:Omo, Tinubu supporters have issues o Someone said your choices have consequences, how is that mockery? Haaaaaaaa When chibok girls were kidnapped, APC were everywhere on earth to use it to campaign. I honestly dont get it, you all protested, heavily protested, were on every media houses, were even abroad holding placards, was that mockery or stating the fact? |
mascot87:U too mumu shaa ![]() With the way una cry over Igbos, one would have thought they are ur number one enemy ![]() It is funny how u people dont scream up and down about fulanis but you create noise about igbos everywhere. I read your first comment, u said Yorubas dont cause nuisance? Hahaahhhahahaahahahaa, visit Tiwtter baba. One thing that makes me laugh about you people is the silence on fulanis and loudness on the Igbos who dont even pose a threat to you people ![]() |
PulaPower:Wait o, someone showed U consequences of your choices, he is now a bad person ? When APC used chibok girls to campaign, they were not bad? Omo Una funny for this country. |
Validated:Seems u dont know that elections elections are r#gged o. Baba, except they are ready to play dirty like them, they will win o. |
Image123:hahahaaha, una dey try o! Oga, not everyon is brain dead. He had one job, ensure such never happened again. But he is competing with the same man he protested against. |
FSBoperator:She raised valid point. Kids are getting kidnapped. How will u feel if ur 2 years old is inside the forest? Una well so? What did u guys do when Chibok girls were kidnapped? APC carried placards and protested for years, even went to the US. Called GEJ names. So, how come if same is done to u people now, una go dey para? To me sef, the opposition is dulling on this. They could have used this as a serious means to protest and wreck the name of this administration |
Lithiumite:Do u have a child? Like a toddler? Some of u are wicked, maybe i cant tell why. Bro, Nigeria is in ruines. Buhari and Tinibu are calamities combined. Hope u will say this thing if ur kid goes to school and gets kidnapped by these blood sucking bandits? Hope u will write this same thing? Some of u are heartless because u are yet a victim. |
Slippy:Well, they saw opportunities where we sat and loot away everything. They simply come here with small capital and invest money and boom. Ordinary football league, local league we cant develop. If tomorrow, some group of people from another race decides to save our ass, we will sing another song. Till date, we dont have a professionally run channels, South africa came and saved us ![]() |
lawani:What you said is just funny. How does that change the reality? Everyone knows that most in Nigeria are poor. The question is 30m cant give u such standard of living now which wasnt the case before. that is the essence of this post. |
ogascomax:Baba, the problem with most black people is poor reading: Also, politicians have made u believe u must suffer, manage life until u die ![]() How much is inverter? Hahaha, bro, to get inverter to power at least two AC, such setup will cost u more than 10m. Your present spent 15b on solar setup. As usual, una go resort to manage life. Read the article again, the article is talking about the reality of the current economy. It says, with 30m per year before, u can live a very comfortable luxury life, high standard of living. But not anymore. U cant achieve such standard in today's economy. That is the point of the article. Carry a wife, a husband and maybe two kids fly go to vacation to South Africa here, or morocco, and see if u wont burn more than 7m ![]() Like I said, to live a high standard of life with such income now, u will struggle, unlike before, u wont struggle. That is the point. And the fact that more than 70 percent of Nigerians dont see such money shows that naija is a very poor country, does not dismiss the fact of the notion. |
Azazyel:Your friend who earns 1.3m per month, let get started: How much does he spend on fueling let say v6 engine ride per month? how much does he spend on generator fueling to achieve at least 20 hours of electricity per month? Answer these questions. For a 73 liter engine V6 ride, let start from there first. Like I said, u will live but u will struggle. Maybe u dont understand the meaning of struggle. Infact under Buhari, 30m a year, u a big middle class. Today, 30m a year, u arent a middle class. Middle class now starts from way higher. I can tell u that. Like I said, u will need to cut down on your living standard to live with such income baba. What is comfortable living? 1: 24/7 electricity 2: quality education for your family 3: Quality healthcare for your family 4: Quality and healthy meals? Hope u know that vegetable oils arent healthy? U don price how mucn be origin virgin Olive oil? Cold process coconut oil? Etc. Healthy meals will finish that ur money bro. And u need healthy meals to live longer. The reason your politicians live longer: quality meals and quality healthcare. Initially, u can get that with ur 30m per year, but not anymore. 5: Quality and unlimited internet 6: ability to vacate at least once per year 7: Living in secured estate 8: able to afford pleasure. etc. Unfortunately, your friend cant achieve all of these with that income baba. Fueling his gen and car alone will eat up half of his money per month ![]() |
bobogogo:Why can't U people read and understand ? Them swear for black people ? The article clearly stated that previously, with such income, U would be living well, but now, to live that same standard would be hard. U need the cut down drastically. Which part of this article that U didn't understand ?. The article tries to highlight the pains of the current reality of Nigeria. Hope U know how much it cost to install solar that will power your Air Conditionals? ![]() |
zionstaar75:U are a pity to your self. So only dangete requires 24/7 electricity? Can you see what suffering has done to you all? A normal Tunisian citizen gets that same 24/7 electricity.. As a human, U deserve it. If U don't, I deserve it pls. I deserve to sleep under AC, I deserve to sleep with fan on. I deserve to work and see electricity 24/7. Maybe U don't. U have been conditioned to believe that U don't. Sorry Baba, I'm not the cause of your poverty. 24/7 electricity is not designed for only Dangete factory alone. U also deserve reliable internet. Something regular boys are using in Lagos. Sorry Baba. Your home should have smart connections for unlimited streaming, U need a reliable internet not the one presented by useless naija networks. Try and download 70gig file first with Ur regular naija network. Talking crap |
Ajsmart:And you know the funny thing? Most judging by the comments, didn't read or understand the post ![]() This is the reason the politicians dey use Nigerians play football |
anonimi:This one don come with tribalism for a post that has nothing to do with it. Shameless poor man ![]() No state till date still has water aside digging bore hole, including Abuja ![]() |
ogascomax:Bla bla bla. The article says 30m a year can still make U struggle. Do U know how much U need to install an inverter that will power at least two AC? Some of U just blab here. The article says U can live off 30m present if U are ready to drastically reduce your standard of living which U were used to before. Before the present administration, 30m per year is enough to make U live a very comfortable life. Not anymore. Have U tried vacation with two kids, a wife and your self. How much does it cost now? Or U don't assume that vacation is part of living well? I just dey laugh Una for this country. Even taking local flight with your two kids, wife and your self, for a return ticket, U may need to cut down to just once trip par year. Look, humans can live off any amount, including 500k per year. The post simply said during this present administration, U will need to struggle if U want to maintain the quality of life 30m per year gave U before this present administration. Remember, for 30m income, U will be paying govt alone over 8m as income tax ![]() The only way to survive on that income is to drastically reduce Ur standard of living in this present reality You can't live how U used to live. |
OkanlawonB:Some of you in this country makes me laugh. Previously before this administration, 30m per year can give U a good life. Not anymore without U struggling now. If U have two kids and a wife, try and make a return flight trip twice a year and see how much is left ![]() But before this present naija reality, this is something U can comfortably do with such income. Do U now understand ? I guess U didn't read the article. People can survive on any income. Even 500k per year. But U want quality life? 30m can't give U that as a family man now without struggle. |
Azazyel:The problem with most of U is this. U don't read to understand. Now let me explain to U. 30m supposed to give U a very comfortable life in Nigeria before now. But due to the economic hardship and inflation, 30m will leave u struggling except U are ready to cut down on your living standard drastically. This was the focus of the article. So, U just confirmed it, U have to cut down on your living standard drastically to live well. And this isn't supposed to be so if the economy is good because such income is not popular in Nigeria. I don't know why many in Nigeria are not smart Shaa. This article highlighted why 30m per year can't get U a quality life anymore. Do U understand ? People are living off 2m per year sef. There is no amount people can't live off. It is all about cutting down. So, we are saying that if U live full quality life on that income, U will not scale through but that wasn't the case before this present administration. |
I wish to interview these men, they may slap me aswear because I won't take all these craps. The question is simple, why can't U all also do the sacrifices by earning like Nigeians ? U are all well protected, have 24/7 electricity, health taken care of for life, cars taken care of for life, security taken care of for life, why not give up on these things and feel the economy the way Nigerians feel it and then come back and tell us if U are still proud. |
ogascomax:U are speaking from the mindset of poor! 30m supposed to make u live well, but due to inflation, u cant anymore. 30m supposed to place u as a middle class, but due to the situation of the country, u arent even close to that. By the time u fuel ur car, fuel ur gen, pursue 24/7 electricity, eat healthy fruits, live in comfortable area, pay children school fee, use quality health care, eat good foods that are healthy, baba, u don drain already. If u come add flight for ur family, vacation, u are finished. Can u now see? Some of u dont understand the post and it is basically due to poverty |
lawani:The west made u believe Russia is corrupt, they play. And Russia has low income tax rate. They rely heavily on VAT. I have said that again and again, a resource rich country should focus more in VAT than income tax. A crazy 25 percent income tax for such a poor country is evil. I have explained that ur money has lost value. So, in your 20m per year, govt considers u as a high earner, but u are not. The money has become useless. Focus on VAT. Look at this statement: "Why Russia's Income Tax is Kept LowState Revenue Structure: Russia is a resource-rich nation. The federal budget relies heavily on taxes and duties from oil, gas, and other natural resource exports rather than relying on citizens’ paychecks" Can u see? This is exactly what Nigeria should be doing because it is rich. Tax the natural resources, more. Leave the income people make. Tax VAT when people spend their money. That is better taxation. The aggrevated taxation by Tinubu is old model, UK driven, colonial driven, wicked and slavery. A resource rich country should invest to system that will help them convert their lithium into finished batteries and sell to earn money, okay? |
DoWhatThouWilt:The guy dey ball on top tax payers money, do U want him to lose the enjoyment? He will do everything to protect it ![]() Tinubu took bullet but dey enjoy life ontop Nigerian wealth. ![]() |
nedekid:Finally, someone has said it as it is. I was telling someone that 30m per year in Nigeria of today, one is not even a middle class anymore. Maybe lower middle class. But mid-middle and upper middle class, nah. Nah, no way. Reading comments here, I just dey laugh. Like, most Nigerians are used to suffering for real |
lawani:No country with high rate of corruption has ever risen. |
lawani:U have answered my question. Go and read the post very well. Probably u are among those who read headlines. 30m supposed to be more than enough to live comfortably well in Nigeria but due to the current state of things, it is now struggle except U are willing to cut down on Ur standard of living. To go off grid comfortably will cost U nothing less than 10m now. Hope U know that. ![]() Like I said if U have family, just know U will struggle to stay comfortable. Yes. Know how much fueling a V6 car cost alone per month, start from there and know how much is left in Ur monthly income. So the problem is not 30m, the problem is inflation. Yes, a person earning 30m per year should be able to fly with ease but not anymore. These are the issues. |
Oppositions aren't capitalising on the failure of this govt at all. They are useless. They should do the bring back our kids movement like ApC did then. |
