The nonsense will stop when Nigerians get tired and revolt. For now, no one is ready to revolt.

I made a post about how 30m a year as income is no longer giving u reasonable quality of life, I was bashed that it is a lie. I said, quality of life. Previously, that could put u in a very comfortable middle class, but now, u are struggling to keep up and live quality with same amount, u cant. U have to completely reduce ur standard of living!
The man Tinubu has wrecked the purchasing power of the middle and upper middle class. His administration benefits the elites. And worse part, with all these hardship, baba still widen tax bracket and increased tax rates across boards. Meaning, u will pay more tax if u earned 30m per year now. To save middle class which are very vital for any society, that man needs to be voted out. He seems to only dance to the tone of the white people.

Omo, why always Peter Obi? Are there no other oppositions? There are many out there, even one Yoruba opposition grants lot of interviews and speaks critical of Tinubu leadership, I like the man naturally, I mean the Yoruba opposition, I have forgotten his name, very sound, smart and descent man. But these guys dont call him, they dont talk about him, why always Obi? They cant spend one or three days without dragging Obi. There must be something they saw in the backend of the last election that made them to always talk about this man.

Nigeria should focus more on restructuring which concetrate on reducing powers at the center, pls, that should be our focus. Too much power in the center is a problem. Nigeria should be treated as component states that came together. That is the reality. Not single term bla bla. We need proper restructuring and efficient electoral system. Once these two are fixed, many issues would be resolved.

Plus , there is a funny assumption that if we remove tinubu, all these crimes will end. It is not just by removing tinubu, we got to get a president that would improve funding for law enforcement by leaps and bounds.

A decently armed and equipped police force would be able to handle all these issues. But one thing I have found out about Nigerians is, they want their side in power so that they can chop. They do not want actual solutions.

No amount of money spent on forces as at today can fix the issue. Billions have been spent already but it gets worse. So, more money, same structure, same worse results.
Nigeria's currently problem are weak border control, so, influx of illegal immigrants, that is why i am proud of south africans for standing up to cause troubles and now their govt is paying attention. Over the years, their border police kept taking bribe and allowed illegal immigrants in and they usually cause problems.
So, a 6 nation based country is what Nigeria is begging for if we are to still have a functioning country in the next 20 years.
Another issue is uncontrolled population with too many kids with no proper education, no opportunities, they become prey to bad actors. So, if we have a 6 nation country, each region runs her affirs as she wants, no body will struggle to go to the center. And each regions can now decide if they will control population or not since population will not determine representation at the center. What will matter is the regions and the center is for purely external affairs and condinations. This will fix naija problems hand down.

Sir, leadership also means u shouldnt be living large while more than 80 percent of ur citizens are not living up to average, period. That is also what leadership means. Very foolish country, a process that should be easy but they intentionally made it hard so they can rig. The day Nigerians understand that vote counts, these monsters called politicians will have to sweat to rig. The rigging happens with unused voting slots.

When I tell u people that Nigeria has money, una go dey follow me argue. The problem of Nigeria is not more tax, the problem is that we waste money on politicians, corruption and influated prices of public projects.
Instead of investing in public services that can in return generate money, create enabling business enironment, etc. we waste it on corruption, funding the lifestyle of politicians, both past and present. These are the real issues, not more tax.
Take for example, the amount wasted on NNPC refinaries could fix electricity for good. if we had electricity fixed, even the fuel subsidy removal wont be harsh on Nigerians. We know these things, but they keep lying to u. Even if the tax is 70 percent, it will still mean nothing as long as these issues of corruption, wastage, influated price, lack of investing in public services, etc are still rampant.

This is the sorry state of many african nations. Resource rich, but more foolish humans than smart ones. They simply sell of their resources to countries with no resources, these countries convert them into finished goods and sell back the finished goods to Nigeria and her likes .
Then we end up using the money we earned from selling these resources to purchase the finished goods. We even spend more, we end up with negative balance. They become richer, while we become poorer.

South west already has lagos, it can make mad money from lagos alone. I am Igbo but the region that will suffer the most if Nigeria split today within southern Nigeria is the south east. They may pickup later due to how hard working and smart their people are but the first 10 to 20 years would be brutal. But u see south west, they will start smiling instantly.
