When Atimu speaks Nigerians should listen, honestly I wish we had voted this man ! Despite all the allegations unfounded against him he sometimes exhibit tolerance and resilience. Above all he's a skilled conventional Business man with friends in high places though hated by some political colleagues cos he's successful in biz not from politics!

Unlike Tinubu! Though I think he can do some tricks but that greedy nature can never departs from him

Atiku?......You want to vote Atiku.

Nigerians are really out of their minds. Vote Atiku?

Atiku will sell you and your family before you even know what is happening

There are some threads that I read that just display the deep level of ignorance Nigerians have.

This is one of them.

Anyway, it is not their fault. I blame a government that has left its job undone for so long.

Nigerians have seen anomalies and illegalities for too long and now they accept it as a normal way of life. See people accusing government for doing what they ought to do.

People don't listen.

When you tell them the truth they will insult you and call you names.

Raji Fashola came out and warned all of you.

Ambode did the same.

You guys did not listen.

And those structures were built from the scratch to finish in this situation without the ministry of environment doing the needful? Who is fooling who?

The ministry has done it's job. The Government doesn't have to stop you from occupying spaces illegally. It's your job to make sure. Afterall it's your money. So the onus lies on you

When they are ready, they simply do what they are doing now.

And people like you will come and point fingers at them.

The Lagos State Government since Raji Fashola has made it very very clear ...... NO LANDS IN LAGOS WILL GET C/O

Because most available lands in Lagos is not meant for what they are used for now.

Think about it. You sandfill a swamp and then you start selling it out. You sef com carry money go buy land for swamp. Do you not know that the swamp is a natural floodplain for draining storm floods? Government will come and mark your building X. You will go and bribe official. That X that they marked, what is the Givernment telling you? Oh you want them to come on NTA and announce that the land at so so so is illegal. Dem don tell you. Na you no wan gree hear.

There is nothing new in what this man has said. Except you have never done your due diligence before buying properties.

If you look at the way 99.9% of Real Estate Developers portion and sell land, you will understand that the greed level is maximally high. Coupled with omo onile with zero ambition in life everybody is just trooping in blindly.

Very funny...

So now war victory is determined by hardware captured and not cities conquered. Nice one! It's a great medal award for the war.

You miss the point.

Propaganda is a very potent weapon of warfare. What you're seeing here is evidence that Russia knows it's onions when it comes to weaponizing propaganda.

This is exactly what Germany did with the 36th Waffen SS. They sold the propaganda that they were made up of convicted criminals and murderers and even though they were mostly ineffective, they were the most feared army division of WW2

The Bible is so volatile and contradictory that most people literally cherry pick whatever they want from it, it support everything you want

That is because those who read it are largely ignorant.

They are also self-serving. Otherwise they would always consider everything in the Bible in its appropriate context

Religion / Re: No Prophet Married Only One Wife In The Bible - Olatosho Oshoffa by princefunm: 3:23pm On Apr 28
The Law that God gave the Israelites stipulated that Kings must have only one wife.

Even though God permitted polygamy, it was never his will. When he made a wife for Adam he made only one.

As a Christian though, the standard is one man one wife.

The Bible clearly stipulates this as a requirement for those who are overseers or leaders.

If the leader of a so-called Christian church is verifiably polygamous, then it simply means that he was unfit to lead.

Its very simple and clear.

It also makes him adulterous by bible standards.

Nudity was never sacrilegious.
Rather the opposite.

Not long our ancestors where going about naked.
You go to the village you will see granny with tops off.

Enough of this Satan stuff.
The world will keep on evolving. That is a general characteristic of the living.
Get used to it.
You don't select what you will embrace e or not.
As you use medicine, technology and the vices from around the world due to evolution, you will also swallow their evolved ways of life.
Oh, that God you talk so much about is also their invention.

The day they will decide to invent new God and die off the existing one, there is nothing you and I can do about it.
Hope this sinks in cos we always love to live in denial in this part of the world.

Alright then...

Next time you step out of your house, please step out naked

After all our ancestors moved around naked.

Oh yeah... and while you're at it....make sure your wife goes out topless too....or your girlfriend(s)

After all your granny goes around topless in the village

There used to be a time when we could watch western TV shows and series without bumping into anything homosexual or related messages, not to talk of full homosexual segments or themes but unfortunately not anymore.

But that doesn't seem enough for them anymore, as they're now gradually applying the same policy into TV shows meant for kids, with a long-term view to achieving the same result with those of the kids.

And since kids have the tendency to copy whatever they see others do, imagine them trying to copy a pregnant man after watching such a thing on TV?

That's why they need our help at this early stages of their lives when they're still trying to figure out how things work and which path to take.

Hence the need for parents or guardians to train and bring them up in the right way now, so it would be easier for them to continue in it when they're older. Proverbs 22:6

God bless.

Well, there was a time when nudity on screen was sacrilegious.

Today, its nothing.

That's to tell you that the whole world is in the control of Satan.

Here are the photos of Decimated Niger Prison where 118 Inmates Escaped

https://www.nairaland.com/8072577/over-100-inmates-escape-rain

A heavy rainstorm at the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Suleja, Niger State, led to significant damage to the facility and enabled 118 inmates to escape on Wednesday night. The Federal Capital Territory Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service confirmed the incident, attributing the escape to the damage caused by the storm, which included a breach in the perimeter fence. Ten of the escaped inmates have been recaptured through collaboration with security agencies, while efforts to find the others are ongoing.

Jesu....

This is medium security?

So what will maximum security be like?

This just tells the whole story about Nigeria in general.

A disgusting lack of regard for human life.

If this is the standard of a medium security prison where criminals are not deemed dangerous enough to be maximum security grade.....then honestly I don't know.

All these games Olukoyede and Cardoso are playing...

They are just trying to save face in a problem he is clueless about solving.

Emefiele and Buhari know exactly why the Naira is this bad.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Binance or P2P.

Cardoso knows the truth but needs to save face because it has dawned on him that he is just a pawn is a large-scale corruption dragnet.

Cardoso can only run....but eventually Emefiele's fate will also befall him.

Let him just hope that he has a good backup like Sanusi otherwise, Emefiele can give him some survival mentorship.

If Sanusi were the Governor of CBN, Naira would never have been this bad. Because he would have sounded out the alarm long ago. And every Nigerian would know the difference between the words Macro and Micro

See...

This is how people put themselves in unnecessary trouble.

I agree that married women are usually easy targets. However, for a married woman to throw herself at you, you must have (1) made yourself available and (2) must have the same thing at stake...in your case you are also married.

And the fact that you say "Lots" tells me that you have a pattern of doing whatever it is you do with married women. And you even went as far as your wife's best friend.

Your day of reckoning will soon come. Don't worry. You are part of the problem. Hanging around other people's wives.

Nigerian housewife’s 1980s grocery list goes viral

In the 1980s, a Nigerian housewife made a shopping list that cost ₦94 and included rice, beans, yam, cassava, meat, and several other goods. This list generated discussion on social media.

The video, with the caption, “A 1980s housewife’s grocery list,” A list that reads, “She has ₦100 to spend,” includes rice, beans, meat, cassava, sugar, bread, milk, and a few other goods that could all be purchased for a fraction of the amount they would cost today—between ₦1 and ₦10. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The list, totaling ₦94 for all items, attracted attention online as many commented on the cost of living in the 1980s compared to the present.

See some reactions below:

Dude: “Dollar was $1 to N1. Today it’s same as going to the market withN155,000.”

Dennis Nathan: “Why couldn’t we continue with this economy? It’s common over Europe that’s to tell a country is working.”

Hakeem: “So the person kept his market list since 84 till date? Easy abeg.”

king_Greezly: “and na still these old men and women wey write stuff like this, come spoil am for this time.”

victormorrow38: “Lies to gain traffic. What brand of sugar was sold @2.80k per packet in 1980?So a packet of sugar cost more than a bag of cement i sold 2.00 naira.”

https://eyesoflagos.com/2024/04/15/nigerian-housewifes-1980s-grocery-list-goes-viral/

If any of you had the consciousness to be aware of the 80's you would understand that even this prices, as little as they look now, where actually quite expensive.

Imagine buying yams at 14 naira.

Brand new Volkswagen Bettl was 1,440 naira
Peugeot 504....2,450 naira (Brand New oooo)

Just so you can have things in proper perspective.
