The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has reacted to the death of an alleged minister of of the church who was reported to have committed suicide in Abuja over inability to pay house rent.

In a statement signed by Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, Head, Media & Public Relations, the church sympathised with the family of the deceased, but however clarified the mis-information and absolute falsehood in the report.

The full statement reads:

“The attention of the leadership of the RCCG has been drawn to reports of the death of one Mr. Michael Arowosaiye said to have committed suicide in Abuja on Tuesday May 14, 2019.

“The report which has been trending on the social media and has also featured in the newspapers, said the man decided to take his own life after going into depression.

“While the RCCG leadership sympathises with the family of the deceased, it has become necessary to clarify the mis-information and absolute falsehood in the report.

“The said Mr. Michael Arowosaiye was not a minister in the RCCG. He was a singer and a keyboardist in one of our Youth Parishes in Abuja until 2017 when he left for another ministry.

“His movement to another ministry notwithstanding, Michael, through his elder brother who is presently one of the coordinators of the RCCG Youth Choir, continued to get invitation to minister in RCCG programmes.

“He had accommodation problem in 2018 and though he was no longer in the RCCG, a family in the Mission gave him the Boy’s Quarters of their house in Sunnyvale Estate in Lokogoma FCT, which was where he lived till the unfortunate suicide incident.

“It is therefore untrue to refer to him as a Minister in the RCCG. It is also misleading and absolutely incorrect to create the impression that RCCG does not care for its Members and Ministers. The RCCG is in the forefront among organizations with robust welfare package in Nigeria,”

So for some weeks, the internet has been hot on Regina Daniel's case, and I have kept mute all these while, but let me drop this here this Morning for you all .

Firstly, I want you all to understand that After the devil, the next set of people who can destroy one's image are "Bloggers".
These set of Bloggers operate in a deceitful manner. They post pictures and put fake captions or misleading/enticing subheading just to entice their followers, and most of you don't even bother opening the link of their posts to read through. You only read the subheading and begin to comment.

These bloggers know that Nigerians love to believe fake news, they never tell you stories the way it actually is, they always twist the stories which turn out to be false or put misleading headings because they know most of you don't open the link.

For Example, when nnamdi kanu's video of him and his wife leaked, this was the heading of most bloggers. "NNAMDI KANU CAUGHT NAKED IN BED, HAVING SEX WITH A WOMAN". then everyone begins to judge just by reading that heading. Then when you click on the link, this is what they will write, "NNAMDI KANU SEX VIDEO WAS LEAKED WHERE HE WAS SEEN MAKING LOVE WITH A WOMAN WHO IS ASSUMED TO BE HIS WIFE" Firstly why is it called a sex video in the first place?? Where was the sex Why did they say "with a woman" at first and not with his wife until the link was opened?? Some won't even tell you the truth that the woman was his wife,just so that they can get traffic or spread a negative message about such person, and these kind of cases promotes hate, a post created on lies is very dangerous which is unfair.
Are you all seeing the tricks and deceit in most bloggers? These bloggers are very misleading.

Now, Take a Look at this Regina Daniel's picture and this Man? Can't you all see the resemblance? The difference is the complexion, and that is because her Mum is very fair.
Remember her mum separated from her real father when she was still small??
This Man is Obviously her real father and not her husband like the bloggers told you people. Maybe they are trying to make up for lost years.
They said she was married to him, where?? How?? When?? Where is the proof?? Now they said she is pregnant? How did they know? Did she tell them? Have they seen their wedding pictures?? They said ,they said, who said??

For instance, anytime they make a Headline about Regina Daniels , May be the caption says "Regina daniels is pregnant for Ned" if you click on the link to read through, you won't find anything or any proof. They just mislead people with their caption. And then the content of the link is empty. They just write few misleading write-up that they ain't sure of and post there. The gullible ones will believe the Headline, and the others that opens the link will be left in awe, some will then go with what the Headline said.

Besides, Regina is famous and wealthy, very young and has a promising future. Do you think she will stood soo low to marry someone old enough to be her grandfather, just because of Money? Money that she already has or what? Fine girl like that, you all think she is that stupid?? Make una reason am naa , and that's why she has never come out to say anything about these rumour nor defend anything, cos she has nothing to defend.

This Man Ned nwoko is her Biological father. Believe it or not, soon all of you saying rubbish about her or those of you who believed such rumour will be surprised to hear the truth.
You people should leave Regina alone, the bad mouthing alone can make her commit suicide. Wetin she do una sef?? Is it a crime to be beautiful and famous? Now you guys went and dragged somadinma to her case, trolling the boy all over internet. Kaiii. This my country people, I tire for una.

Please let's stop believing rubbish. Even if it were true which I know it's not true, let's learn to mind our business. We have other important pressing issue in this country than worry about who Regina marries.
