Sports / How Record-breaking Ronaldo Return Exposes Man Utd’s $206m Danger by princejude(m): 4:10am On Aug 29
Cristiano Ronaldo’s sensational return to Manchester United capped a transfer window that has made fans quickly forget the disappointment on the field, and uprising off it, that ended last season.
Just four months ago supporters stormed the Old Trafford pitch in protest at the club’s owners for their part in the failed European Super League project and a perceived lack of investment in the club, forcing the postponement of a Premier League clash with Liverpool.
In response, the Glazer family have sanctioned a transfer spend of nearly £150 million ($206 million) with Ronaldo joining his former Real Madrid teammate Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho.
The Telegraph reports that Ronaldo is set to earn in excess of the £560,000 ($A1.05m) a week, which will make him the Premier League’s highest-ever earner.
What Ronaldo’s deal does though is expose just how much pressure is on United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to deliver the club’s first Premier League title since Alex Ferguson retired as manager in 2013.
Solskjaer is yet to win a trophy in his two-and-a-half years in charge with his mismanagement of losing the Europa League final on penalties to Villarreal in United’s final game of last season still fresh in the memory.
The Norwegian did not make a single substitution until 100 minutes had been played in Gdansk as United failed to make their far greater resources count.
A lack of strength in depth is not an excuse Solskjaer will be able to use this season if he does not end United’s wait for silverware.
There is also a danger of the club harking back to their past rather than embracing the future.
Teenage striker Mason Greenwood has scored in both his side’s opening two league games of the season, but is likely to see his playing time curtailed by Ronaldo’s return.
Even at 36, Ronaldo is still one of the most prolific goalscorers in the game. The Portuguese netted 36 times for Juventus last season and won the Golden Boot at Euro 2020, scoring five goals in four games.
He and Sancho, who cost a reported £73 million ($A138m) from Borussia Dortmund in June, join a stacked forward line of Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.
Behind them Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba have already shone this season in a 5-1 thrashing of Leeds on the opening day of the Premier League season.
But a 1-1 draw at Southampton exposed some familiar failings of Solskjaer’s reign that the recruitment of Ronaldo may solve.
The United manager can boast an impressive record against stronger opposition.
He has beaten Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City four times in eight meetings and lost only twice in six clashes with Liverpool.
Twice he’s won away to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
But too often United have performed poorly in the games they are expected to win.
Last season they finished 12 points behind City having dropped the same number of points against Crystal Palace and relegated Sheffield United, West Brom and Fulham.
If Ronaldo’s predatory instincts turn those games into routine wins, the glory days of the Ferguson era could be back.
According to reports, Ferguson played a part in convincing Ronaldo to return to the club where he made his name on the world stage between 2003 and 2009 rather than risking his United legacy by crossing the Manchester divide to join City.
Until now, Solskjaer has been given time to slowly rebuild United as a force in England and Europe.
But with the resources afforded to him this summer comes responsibility and that means winning major trophies.

They should have said the best game programmer, not the best programmer of our time. If he knows how to code games, does he know how to code other types of programming.

Programming / Who Is The Best Programmer Of Our Time? by princejude(m): 2:16pm On Jun 18
Answered October 3, 2020 · Upvoted by Timothy Johnson, PhD, Computer Science

I’ve seen a great many Computer Scientists talked about, and I think many are ultra talented. But I’d like to throw a name into the hat of who I consider to be (arguably) the best programmer of our time, as the question goes.

John Carmack

He pretty much defined doing a lot with a little in the gaming industry. For those unfamiliar, he was the co-founder and lead programmer for id Software - Wikipedia

The depth of cleverness and efficiency that went into games and engines sort of one after another (notably Doom and Quake) is just staggering. Doing everything from the engine, graphics, and with quake, the tcp/ip layer.

I know more than one person who went into software specifically because of inspiration from Carmack.

There is more to read about Carmack than would fit in a single answer, but there’s a ton of links in his John Carmack - Wikipedia page. From the games, to some of the algorithms he wrote, he was just absolutely irreplaceable. A truly stellar programmer.

See correct pepper white soup. This reminds me of one restaurant at constitution road where I always eat this. If you go their from 12:00 noon you will not meet the white soup. Sometimes you have to wait up to 20 minutes before it is your turn to be served.

I'd advice you used their website
You can get everything you want to get there.
I remember when I was doing a school project I personally went to get them at their store but since that's not an option for you now.
It's best you buy it online.
You'd also see prices and calculate your cost.
What is this one saying ?
Technology Market / Re: Arduino Kit by princejude(m): 1:47pm On May 16, 2020

I've checked your site sir @ jutronix.
I mist admit, you've got good products but the prices are a bit more expensive to some other vendors.
I wasn't able to find an Arduino kit all I saw in the kit section was pickit and some other things.
I will arrange the kit and it's cost and inform you. Actually I didn't bought them as a kit, but I have most of what you listed above (not all). From which kit did you get that list from or you just list all the items you need as a kit. 30 LEDs is too much for a kit. I will adjust some of my prizes to the current price because it has been long update the site (busy with some other stuff). We offer one-on-one (and online) training and also help students in their project stuff.

Also sir do u hv a website where I can register and place an order? Sty like Hub360. A friend also needs it and isn't into online purchases so I hv 2 people to convince (mom and a friend) I really need substantial evidence to prove to them
Hope you understand sir.
You don't know my website, how did you know that I sales Arduino? look well under all my comments ...
Technology Market / Re: Arduino Kit by princejude(m): 5:44pm On May 15, 2020
My friend needs an Arduino kit
Is Hub360 delivering now?
Are there any other distributors that offer pay on delivery service.
If you were the distributor, will you offer pay on delivery without sending someone to collect your money before delivery? It seems like you are looking for someone to dash you Arduino kits without payment.
Programming / Re: Build Your Own Laptop by princejude(m): 5:38pm On May 15, 2020

Sir. Just saw this now. You didn't get to complete it and I'm really interested.
Also sir do you have an Arduino Starter kit. I would be needing it after the lockdown. I stay at Aba and would want to know how much everything would cost. Also do you offer pay on delivery services because it'd prefer it. Thanks
I have Arduino kits but I don't do pay on delivery.
Programming / Re: Arduino Kit For A Friend by princejude(m): 5:34pm On May 15, 2020
Good morning bosses..
A friend needs an Arduino kit.
Ia hub360 currently open and offering pay on delivery service?
Are there other distributors for the Arduino kit that would offers pay on delivery service...Highly needed
Why must it be pay on delivery? You can only get pay on delivery service if the seller will deliver it to your doorstep in person and collect his money before handing the item over to you.

Sir, this is off your topic but I wanted to inquire if you have an Arduino kit for sale and If you offer pay on delivery service. ( I reside in Aba Abia State) Thanks
I have Arduino kits but I don't do pay on delivery. You have to pay before I waybill the item to you through any closer transport company. It is either I send the waybill number or the drivers phone number to you.

This country is full of idiots. I've been seeing the clamour for the government to call off the lockdown, without putting into consideration how people are going to move around from one place to another.

Some fools even went as far as protesting, burning tyres on the road. The lockdown has been the only reason why we haven't had exponential cases of COVID-19 so far. That's all going to change starting next week.

El-rufai is the only sensible governor that has put in place proper measures to curtail the spread by extending the lockdown by 30days, and on the long run, everyone will see how it will pay off.
Who told you that we don't have exponential cases of COVID-19? Have you test up to 1% of Nigeria population? What do you think that is responsible to the deaths in Kano?

Phones / Hisense F50 5G Arrives With A New 5G Chipset by princejude(m): 1:11pm On Apr 16, 2020
Hisense may not be a household smartphone brand, but the company does know how to grab attention with things like 10,000mAh batteries and color e-Ink on phones. The latest model is interesting for another reason – it’s powered by a 5G chipset from a new vendor. You don’t hear that every day, even Intel was unable to keep up with the complexities of developing 5G hardware.
The Hisense F50 5G was teased on Weibo today and will be officially unveiled on April 20. This isn’t a premium phone, instead it’s part of the effort to make 5G affordable. The handset uses a pretty standard back-mounted fingerprint reader and a teardrop notch for the selfie cam.
The Unisoc T7510 chipset uses the Chun Teng V510 baseband that was developed in-house by the company Ziguang Zhan Rui. It was first demoed at MWC 2019 and supports sub-6GHz 5G with up to 100MHz of bandwidth.

The rest of the chipset uses off the shelf parts including an octa-core CPU – 4x Cortex-A75 at 2.0GHz and 4x A55 at 1.8GHz. They are joined by an Imagination PowerVR GM9446 GPU and a dual-core NPU (of unknown provenance). Local connectivity supported by the chipset includes Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.0.
As for the Hisense F50 5G itself, it will have a large 5,010mAh battery with 18W fast charging and “PC grade” cooling (whatever that means). The phone also packs a quad camera setup on the back, but there are no official details on the four modules yet. That and the price should be revealed on Monday.

Since you are sharing source code, make it readable using gist.

Google gist by github

The onboard Bluetooth comes handy in this case and since it is compatible with almost all BLE devices. The WiFi and Bluetooth can't be used at the same time except that people have started finding ways around it.

Arduino with Bluetooth module is quite bulky with too many wiring, library importation and codes.

I understand what you mean but remember the owner may be a beginner. He may get confused when introducing new advance boards

Esp32 can do better. You get everything on one board.
ESP32 is overkill. It is best for IoT based project not for a simple Bluetooth app communication. This project doesn't need internet access
Programming / Re: Free Arduino Tutorial by princejude(m): 7:51am On Apr 02, 2020

I will need your guidance on this question.
I started a hone automation project where an app controls an led using arduino on Proteus using a Bluetooth module. I followed a YouTube video to copy the arduino code and connect the diagram. I used MIT app inventor to make the app. But the app is not connecting to my device. I get an error message 507 not connected. Is device on?

I want you to assist me with a course that will help me design other circuits as well as complete this one. So what should I do next. I am ready to buy the videos you send me because I am in kano state. Tell me what I need to learn, some projects I could design after the course, the cost and when you are ready to deliver.
I contacted someone on this but he is using covid saga to delay me. I want to use this period to do a project if possible

For the Bluetooth project, I will advice you to get an Arduino board and Bluetooth module because Proteus may fail. My original Arduino board is #3500 and Bluetooth module is #3000. If you buy the hardware from us, I will send a working Bluetooth - App inventor code to you.

For the training course, you can start with the Arduino project design. Presently I am in Lagos but we do online DIY training.
You will not regret having a course with us
