I know Yoruba people who did not come out to vote for Asiwaju because they think and believe that Asiwaju deserves the hate from the Igbo after giving Lagos opportunities, jobs etc to Igbo.
Asiwaju later replied that he helped the Igbo so they could help their Igbo relatives back home in Alaigbo to break away from poverty and lack of opportunities. On the hate he got in return from the Igbo, he reserved his comment.
