your an old member on this forum, sixth year right? And you decided to come here just now? Its all good and thanks...I think we should go back to reality now, Finding Hubby was to spice things up and it sure did. I pray that I will have a fair game when it comes to men issue
yeah, am not new on nairaland, just went on a sort of break...... but nairaland keeps drawing me back ![]() Yeah, Amen to that sister, cos finding hubby is not easy oh.... so what's the talk in reality bite? *but do people actually live the kind of life oyin has?* |
oh thanks! finally, an official welcome! ![]() |
jst finished reading all the episodes of 'finding hubby' and, I've never seen a life with so much drama and heartbreaks, the heroine moved tru stages in her life, that wisened her up, am glad for her that she got her happy ever after finally, offcourse this is fiction, chances of it happening in reality is slim...... but then i also learnt a great deal though am not gonna be near 30 soon, i hope girls don't exhibit impatience and make such huge mistake finding hubby thanks poster for the link, it was worth it. ![]() |
why do you always have to spoil the suspense...you don't need to give the spoilers for the next update jó :-/ *opens the next box of popcorn* ![]() |
how come they are dots everywhere? am sure they were posts there before...... even a poem ![]() handwork of cuddles, is that even legal ![]() |
here is another: Come see what i hold It's delicate than an egg Its the crown upon my head The very reason they buzz after me Like flies would rotten eggs All of them sweet tongued With protruding bags of gold yet i kept it so close for i wanted a sense of pride Then he came along Right from the eastern land Where Golden light cast upon his face His smile weakened my knee Broke through the wall of two decades And without a will or defence My pearl cast upon the floor Slain by tides of emotion And then he went With the tides of the western wind Alas, Your belated feet never saw that thing i fought so hard to keep **** |
dis ur questions wicked..hw can i be trekin 4 hot sun mk she dey inside A/c? Dm swear 4 me? We hav 2 be on it 2gother..either 4 A/C or hot sun.
take it with the connotative meaning, it doesn't mean what you think, its about the ability of the man to sacrifice, not necessarily a car. ok? ![]() |
*seats down, open a can of coke and box of popcorn to eat* ![]() i have a feeling this is gonna be a 'comfortable' thread...... though am having a hard time telling the characters apart, with all that funny and strange names ![]() in btw, is this thing fiction or not? ![]() |
i posted a poem earlier, go to the home page of literature and writing, you should see the post. its titled: share your poems here...bla bla bla see you there |
i know very pretty girls who are, so don't talk trash |
The questions are too vague. They should be more specific to our Naija setting. 1) Is the lady/guy the type of person who easily gets provoked? 2) How are quarrels and disagreements handled? 3) Is the lady submissive? 4) Does the guy love his wife to the point where he can die for her? Is he sacrificial? Can he decide to trek under hot sun so his wife can have the only car to enjoy the A/c, or is he the type that colonizes the car while his wife jumps around town in public transport? 5) Can the woman take correction or is she the type that is forever shouting back at her man and putting him down publicly? 6) Does the man treat the woman as his help mate or as his subordinate or an article of property? 7) Is the man clean? SOme guys throw their underwear and socks everywhere and expect the jackey horse of a wife to always pick up after him. Is the man a provider? Will his attitude change if his wife starts toearn more than himself or will he still measure up to standard? Will the woman become heady and uncontrollable when her earning power supersedes that of the man? 9) Can the woman cook and do basic domestic stuff in the house? 10) Is the man a stingy fellow? 11) What is the attitude of the man to his mother and what is the attitude of the wife to her father? This will determine how they relate to the opposing inlaws and to themselves. 12) What is the spiritual story behind both the man and wife? Does untimely death, poverty or some other negative stuff run in the family line? There are too many important questions to ask. Forget all those stupid janded questions that have no meaning in the real modern day marriage setting in Naija.
now you're talking. |

*walks in and goes to seat alone* anyone care to lessen my boredom? ![]() |
There i sat Playing with my dress Relishing the great pleasure Of my legs beneath the sand With my face to the moon Hearing the sweet lullaby of the stars There i sat peaceful and calm Till... The rain shrouded the moon The stars took off on their heels The ocean overflowed its banks And washed off the sands that adored my legs I was left soaked in the mud My dress became a dirty thorn And my tears drowned in the sea How hard i wept My innocence taken from me And even harder i wept When i remembered that rain was you. **** |
