Gazaliah: HOW TO CHANGE DATE OF BIRTH:
The steps to change your date of birth after registration to the date of birth submitted for your WAEC/NABTEB registration are:
i.Purchase the WAEC Results Verification PIN from any firstbank branch or the NABTEB verification PIN from any NABTEB zonal or state offices nationwide.
ii.Login with your email and password by clicking on 'Resume Registration' link on this NYSC registration portal. This will present your dashboard to you.
iii.Click on change date of birth menu (WAEC or NABTEB option). A new page will popup for you.
iv.Fill the form and submit your entries Note: > Only WAEC Verification PIN or NABTEB verification PIN can be used on the NYSC portal > Each candidate must buy PIN with single subscription only > PIN with more than 1 subscription is not acceptable on the NYSC platform after that can I reprint get the one with the correct birthday? |

poposki33: Oga feelamong! i need you on this;
i went to gtb to apply for TBill but they were turning me around so divided to transfer mt money to FBN but while i was at FBN after i filled the form i could not find anything like RATE on the form so i engaged the account officer incharge but she told me that TBills don't bid rate that it is CBN that will give me the rate. I was like ha! but i decided to risk it and applied for 182 days. When i got my interest yesterday, i calculated it and it was 13.2percent. i was so happy because i discovered that CBN stop rate 13.5. you are all good |

donxab: Good morning guys, some people here are just giving their selves hope about this regularization of a thing! This was exactly what made my cousin not to serve with A15, everything was moving well until it was time for the online registration, he was not able to access the portal and was not mobilized eventually, please guys don't bank on what a man said @ Student Affairs, if your mind is not certain about it, do the needful. I was made to understand that jamb works with a separate data base for students that were offered admission and it is this database that NYSC will key into. Many people that wrote Jamb that year have a valid jamb number, but jamb do not have any record of admission with them and that is why it is not possible for them to access the portal too. Cheers. pls what should the student do to remedy the situation? |

unite4real: What are the benefits that an investor can get by investing in the Government Securities? Benefits of short term securities (i.e. Nigerian Treasury Bills)are: Yield / Income on investment is realizable upfront and can be automatically reinvested for a higher income. Yield / Income on investment is competitive with returns on other money market instruments of similar maturities. The securities have zero-default risk. Yield/Income on investment is tax-free. The securities can be used as collateral for short-term borrowing from banks. They are bearer securities and negotiable. Benefits of long-term securities are: Could serve as collateral for borrowing, Interest is paid half-yearly, It can be traded on the stock exchange and Investment has a zero-default risk.
This was from CBN website FAQ on Government securities.

petikal: There's no vat for NTBs, no tax at all. All I get charged (and what's legally permitted by CBN) is custodian fee, which is almost negligible with a decent capital. If you're being charged anything else, you're getting shortchanged. we keep beating around the bush its ok. Great discussion nice refutation and approbation I take a bow . Thanks @unit4real @petikal @angelo82 @manie @feelamong . Let's go back to investing mood. |

divinessa: please guys i don't really know much about ntb, if I invest like 400k for 91days, how much interest will I get and can i still do it this month? you should get 10,000 if the rate is 10% for 91days (custody/Vat debit charge not included). |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by princeuk21(m): 11:44pm On Aug 20, 2015 |
petikal: Yes.
I know the question wasn't addressed to me, but this is what makes NTB attractive: Unlike fixed deposit, no taxes/VAT, and interest payment is upfront, which could be used for reinvestment. I do get commission/vat, custody fee/vat debit when investing is that not same as yours? or am I the only one getting this debit here?? unit4real d question also goes to you bro please I need explanation. |

Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by princeuk21(m): 1:20pm On Aug 20, 2015 |
unite4real: I clap for this magic profit. you have assumed the following
1. all 4,000 clothes will be sold 2. all sold money will be paid without creditors 3. you will not employ any sales person to earn monthly salary 4. if you are to sell them yourself, you will not earn monthly salary for your effort 5. You will not pay shop rent for the sales point 6. if you avoided shop rent, you will not use any mobile vehicle to do the sales 7. you will not pay government tax including local levies 8. all the 4,000 shirts will be at the cost of N200 each without upward variations 9. you will sell each for at least N1,000. anyone that price it down, you wont sell 10. finally, na only you dey for market just like I said its a rough calculation and not even a business plan. (Rough Calculation) those interested should do their Research. if you look at my NTB calculation you will see that I did not include VAT deduction on the profit to show that its a Rough calculation. If one is really interested in making money he or she will sit down and do their research. Hope u get me now bro? @Unite4real |
