Well I know it sounds strange and impossible, but its true. It is me and I am writing to you. How are you? And my grandparents? Is my little aunty, Lily, still ill? Don't be surprised I know all about them, I can actually hear a whole lot from here and really can't wait to join you all out there.

I know you also wonder what it feels like in here. Well, its actually warm, dark and slimy, very slimy, but I like it here. It is quite cozy and comfortable.

Mum, as much as I would love to discuss more about your environs and mine, there are far greater issues we need to talk about.

First of all, I overheard the discussions you had with my father and I am aware he denies and hates my existence. I am also aware of the fact that he no longer wants you because of me and that he has left town (probably because of me too).

I do not know what wrong I have done to him or why he hates me that much. I don't even really know him, neither does he, so why? Why deny me? Why did he leave town? Why did he hit you when you told him about me?

Mum, I guess I should let you know that every action carried out by your body affects me. Your cries did, so did your sleepless nights. I too lay awake, wishing I could touch you, comfort you and tell you that it is all going to be fine. That you don't really need him cause I would love you even more than he did and stand by you no matter what.

Secondly Mum, I also know about the visit to Doctor John. I heard everything. I know I don't really know much about the " and C" the doctor kept repeating, but your insistent laments and cries of, "I don't want this child", said it all. You don't want me too. You probably hate and despise me. But why? What have I done? Am I evil? Am I really that much of a curse?

Mummy, I don't know what I will be, a male or female, but I can assure you that I will be good. I will try as much as everything to make you happy, to put a never-ending smile on your face, to give you all the love you need and deserve. Just give me a chance. Please Mum, don't hate me, do not tear me away from you, please do not go to that doctor's place next week Tuesday! Don't end it all even before I have begun. Mum, I don't want to die.

Well, your happiness matters to me and if after all I have said you still decide to go to Doctor John's, I won't hate you for it. I will understand it's something you really needed to do, I won't fight it. Just know that I love u very much and would have loved to be with you, to grow up with you, to take care of you, to touch you, to take walks with you, to see you smile, to listen to your lullaby, to feel your never-ending kisses on my forehead....

I love you mummy. Give me a chance to prove it. I will have to say goodbye for now but hope not forever. Love you. Baby kisses.

When a lady is growing mentally (et all) and getting comfortable with her life/achievement(s) , she wouldn't have time to do all these.

I have ladies I don't like, in reality and online. Yes, I do. I try my best to avoid you, while making you know we ain't compatible. I am human - I can't like everyone. Everyone can't like me either.

That doesn't mean I would use my hard earned energy to bring you down.

1. Stop Taking Each Other Down:
For a woman, it is another woman. As women, we need to stop taking each other down with our words and actions and rather focus on lifting each other up. The world would be a much better place if we all did that.

2. Stop Comparing:
As women, we find it so easy to look at ourselves and compare varying qualities that other women possess. Each of us is created in our own unique and special way. Let us try taking the time to realize the unique qualities that each of us has rather than comparing.

3. Fighting Over Guys
Obviously, if your best girlfriend has an affair with your guy, you have every right to scream and yell. That kind of betrayal warrants anger, for sure. But most times, we should take our anger out on our partners rather than the other girl. Also, if your girlfriend is in a relationship and you are not, don’t allow your jealousy and frustration to get in the way of your friendship.

4. Criticizing Other People’s Weight:
There are very polite ways to make a complement on another woman’s weight. But saying “oh my gosh you’re so skinny” or “wow, you’ve added so much weight!” might be more hurtful than we think it is.

5. Withholding Compliments
Not only is it bad to compliment someone negatively, it is also wrong to withhold good compliments. If your girlfriend has a really nice hairstyle on, or has lost some weight and is looking great, go ahead and say it to her.

6. Telling each Other's Secret:
It’s really sad to confide in someone and find out that the person has let out your secret to the wrong person. Ladies, let’s not do this to ourselves.

7. Not been Supportive:
Many times as women, we desert our friends when they need us the most. Its our friend’s wedding, birthday, graduation, store opening…. and because we feel a certain way about that achievement or milestone, we don’t give our support. So wrong.

8. Stop Competing:
I wish I could scream this. Not everything in life is a competition. No one has to really ‘win’ that best dressed award or most expensive bag title. Focus on your own qualities that are unique and special to you.

9. Comparing Our Bodies:
Hey ladies, we really need to stop this. Many of us have done harmful things to our bodies in a bid to look like the next person. Love who you are and don’t think you need to look like anyone else.

10. Stop Hating:
I really didn’t know what to title this last point. It might not be the appropriate word to use, but have you noticed that some women just don’t like other women for absolutely NO REASON? I’ve heard this a lot of times “I don’t like that lady” and when you ask why, the response is “I don’t know, I just don’t like her“. Maybe she walks or talks in a certain way that you don’t feel comfortable with and because of that, you conclude that you don’t like her even though you hardly know her!

This gets me confused. Let’s continue this discussion in the comment section. Ladies, why do you think we do this to each other? How can we stop such habits?

It's Barbaric ....Anytime I see this topic anywhere,I will remember my Coursemate back then in School that was circumcised, tho She's married but don't enjoy Sex with her husband. According to her,she feels severe pains each time she makes love with her hubby

Seriously I don't know why people still indulge in such barbaric act . People especially those old men n women in the village need to be enlightened n educated about d dangers of Female Genital mutilation It is one of the most horrific atrocities that one human can inflict on another. I am still shocked n disappointed that people still do that. Why do human race allowed it to continue for so long?
