PoliticsRe: ‘Igbo Will Never Fight War Again’ by privaldo: 1:25am On Nov 11, 2020
NigerDeltaIgbos:
He is obviously ignorant. Any war again in Nigeria will definitely affect every part of the country. If anything, the epicenter will be Lagos and attempts to control oil wells and platforms in the Niger Delta.

The type of Biafran/Nigeria civil war of 1967-70 can't be fought again because there are no regional governments anymore. Instead it would be a guerilla warfare happening in different places at the same time, just like in Libya.

It would be spontaneous and What will trigger it is something like another endsars protest in the South or herdsmen killings.
That's exactly what he doesn't understand, no part of the country will be safe. Several international actors like Russia and Turkey who are looking to dominate and enhance their presence in Africa, are ready to fund several militias at the same time to achieve their aim, it will be a pure state of emergency, and there will be excessive loss of lives. He shouldn't pray for what he doesn't understand because he feels it won't affect the South-West.

These news are certainly true and have been on social media for a while.

We are in a state of cold war now and should as a matter of urgency, armed ourselves in preparation. These fulanis are definitely coming for the rest of us in nigeria
Don't worry if it ever comes to war, we would definitely defend ourselves for now we have to sue for peace and stability.
PoliticsRe: ‘Igbo Will Never Fight War Again’ by privaldo: 5:57pm On Nov 10, 2020
T9ksy:
But the (cold) war is already in our region. Few months ago, the CIA warned us that many ISIS and ASWAP members, armed to the teeth on motorbikes are already in yorubaland and their entry point is the NE of the country.

Similarly, the Are ona kakanfo also shared his intelligence report with his people. Apparently, tther are over 1740 illegal armed camps in the SW with more coming in everyday from the northern open borders.

We have also seen many videos on various social media of Dangote's lorries that were stopped in yorubaland only to find over 200 fulanis hiding behind motor bikes. Hate to imagine how many of these lorries have successfully gone through, undetected.
Let's all hope the news is faux, but in an event where it is true then we would need to prepare for the worst.

Talk about your region and count SW out of your mirage
It's a simple analysis, it's not about leaving one part and adding another, it's about the possibilities and the outcome in a war. When people start fleeing from the East, they will surely take refuge in my Niger Delta, and your South-West because we share borders with them. Even if the war never gets to your region or mine, it will affect us economically because of the influx of refugees in large quantities.
PoliticsRe: ‘Igbo Will Never Fight War Again’ by privaldo: 11:08am On Nov 10, 2020

You might have missed that
Any war in any part of Southern Nigeria will definitely affect the whole South, even if the South-South and the South-West tries to avoid it.

They better not do if they do not want history to repeat itself
Let me engage you in a civil manner. First of all, I am not Igbo I am from the Niger Delta. So you feel that if a war breaks again the outcome will be like that of the 1967 - 1970 civil war? Alliances will be formed with several countries, and I dare say we would have the situation going on Libya right now with no victor or vanquished.

Are they not humans to be treated? or will you pay their family or their own medical bills when they are ill, or feed them when they have nothing to eat. You all complained about the protest but one of the demands was the welfare of the police but nobody sided the protesters.

SilverNorGold:
Nonsense, don't come to work. We don't even need the services of the police and other security agencies in Nigeria. They are redundant!

We will pray and God will dispatch more Angels to secure lives and property in Nigeria. These Angels, in addition to the ones President Donald Trump wooed in vain to help him win the election, are enough to secure our lives and property. So the police can strike for all I care..

May God help Nigeria.

With the fall in oil price it's low demands, the region is headed for soon if restructuring is being considered by the government.
The South does not need her oil to develop, they should restructure the country.

Nigerians only fear Guns

Many Frsc officers have been killed by reckless drivers (hit and run)

If Nigerians were law abiding there will not be need for these officers to carry gun

No need to fight, my friend the Niger Delta should learn to stand as one. We are being silenced in this country, and if we don't stand as one we can't survive. Rivers, Cross Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom, Edo and Delta should all learn to stand as one.

He is part and parcel of the society.

A simple question about how he compares with the average chinese man, and you see excuses all around.

I'm not asking anybody to compare himself with the chinese government.

I'm asking how you compare with your contemporary in the same clime you wish to compare our government to.

Not too much to ask.
Should I also answer that question because I would happily do, and I would like an answer from you too when I am done.

He's not holding anyone accountable.

He's only complaining.

Just as most Nigerians do.

Change begins with me.

Tapping about like a puppy doesn't change things.

Do your bit and if need be exhibit it.

Coming to an anonymous forum to castigated any and everything is senseless.
Actually, what you call complaint and castigation is simply him exercising his rights as a citizen. So when you say "change begins with me", does this mean he should take up the construction of the bridge? He is only comparing it to a working society, the world over witnessed China set up a very large hospital in less than one week, so I don't think he is wrong to make references to a society that works.

He maybe contributing his part to the growth of the country but how can you tell?

What can you as an individual do better than be average Chinese.

Let's start with that.

Very shameful.
It also applies to you, what can you better than the average Chinese?

You must not play the patriotism card every time, when you see black you call it black, and when you see white you call it white.
