tsagir:First of all, I am no Muslim neither do I believe in the existence of your imaginary allah or any other god. My statement still stands this is Fake News, the North is 100% safe and the reports of attacks is all a lie to topple Buhari. |
The Northerners are arguably the most comical people on Earth. Your states are being over run by bandits, and jihadists people are being slaughtered in-mass but you deem it fit to over look, and make the problem of another region your concern. If the Northerners are not arguing about blasphemy then, they are arguing about how a woman should dress, and act or they are probably arguing about the affairs of the Southern part of Nigeria. I honestly don't feel an iota of empathy for the people in the region, they are the cause of the evil befalling them. |

Ibrahimmrfish:Every state cares about its interest and that of its citizens before any other affair. As for the IPOB, they are not pure Jews and as such the State of Israel has no business with them. |
FAKE NEWS. The North is safe and cannot be attacked, all those peddling fake news should stop. The people are not kidnappers or bandits, they are our brothers and we love them. |
Ibrahimmrfish:Please, I am only here to correct your error and not get involved in an argument. The Azeris have Jews among them, so does the Armenians. Israel has an issue with the Jews in Armenia, which is why they sided the Azeris whom they consider pure Jews. Israel is not out to fight for Christians but to protect the interest of the State of Israel and the interest, and lives of Jews the world over. Baruch Hashem |

AFTER:
|
So, #PrayforZaria trended today on Twitter after a bandit attack on a polytechnic in the state. I asked myself, why would I pray after the government has spent over N2.2 billion on prayers , isn't that foolishness on my part ? Besides the North seems safe as almost all the major military facilities are located there .Well to the Before and After of the Buharist BEFORE:

tradebot:Even before the #EndSars protests the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway was a well-known kidnappers den, so quit being an ignoramus and look for something doing with your life. |
Nyanabo:Good luck man. |
Nyanabo:Congratulations on your graduation, please act fast and exit this country before its late. |
Nyanabo:Apply for a Masters, it would increase your chances. |
tensazangetsu20:Very true, they basically pick those with CS, Data Science, Statistics, Maths, Physics, and CS/C.Eng background over others from different fields. |

codeigniter:It's still used by some top dogs like Shopify, here in Nigeria I think BuyCoins uses it. People are generally scared of it because of the syntax. |

Morocco says its troops have launched an operation in a no man’s land on the southern border of Western Sahara to end “provocations” by the pro-independence Polisario Front. Rabat on Friday said its troops would “put a stop to the blockade” of trucks travelling between Moroccan-controlled areas of the disputed territory and neighbouring Mauritania, and “restore free circulation of civilian and commercial traffic”. The Polisario Front on Monday warned that it would regard a three-decade-old ceasefire with Morocco as over if Rabat moved troops or civilians into the buffer zone on the Mauritanian border. It warned that “the entry of any Moroccan military, security or civil entity” into the Guerguerat buffer zone “will be considered as a flagrant aggression to which the Sahrawi side will respond vigorously in self-defence and to defend its national sovereignty”. “This will also mean the end of the ceasefire and the beginning of a new war across the region,” the Polisario Front said. Guerguerat is located on the southern coast of the disputed Western Sahara, along the road leading to Mauritania, some 380km (235 miles) north of Nouakchott, a buffer zone patrolled by a United Nations’ peacekeeping force. “The Sahrawi government also holds the United Nations and the Security Council in particular responsible for the safety and security of Sahrawi civilians,” the Polisario statement added. Last week, around 200 Moroccan truck drivers appealed to Moroccan and Mauritanian authorities for help, saying they were stranded on the Mauritanian side of the border near Guerguerat. In a statement carried by the Mauritanian news agency Alwiam, the produce truck drivers said they were returning from Mauritania and sub-Saharan Africa but “militias affiliated with separatists” had stopped them from crossing. In recent weeks, Moroccan media outlets said Sahrawi separatists had set up roadblocks and stopped passage across the border. Al Jazeera could not independently verify the reports. The UN also cited isolated incidents at Guerguerat in a recent report. What is the conflict about? Western Sahara, a vast swath of desert on Africa’s Atlantic coast, is a disputed former Spanish colony. Rabat controls 80 percent of the territory, including its phosphate deposits and its fishing waters. Morocco, which maintains that Western Sahara is an integral part of the kingdom, has offered autonomy but insists it will retain sovereignty. The Algeria-backed Polisario Front, which fought a war for independence from 1975 to 1991, demands a referendum on self-determination. The two sides signed a ceasefire in September 1991 under the aegis of the UN after 16 years of war, but the planned referendum has been repeatedly postponed due to a dispute between Rabat and the Polisario over the composition of the electorate and the status of the territory. Negotiations on Western Sahara involving Morocco, the Polisario, Algeria and Mauritania have remained suspended for several months. SOURCE

GeoSpatial:In a biological sense, we are all animals. In the jungle, the larger and stronger animals (the government and people with power) devour the weaker and smaller animals (the poor masses), so tell me how this isn't a jungle (I made a big mistake calling it a zoo because a zoo is more orderly than this country). |
OZOnNengiTheory:This goes to show that you don't read before you comment. Understand the context of what was posted before rushing to to comment. Being the first to comment doesn't make you smart, it only gives you cheap likes. |
Well done, Mr Governor. I hope those supporting him on the previous thread, where he was asking about the credibility of the #EndSars protests can see that he only did it because he is a mini dictator. |
Two parties, one system and most of all the same people. Until Nigerians learn to look beyond voting based on party affiliation, ethnicity or religion and learn to vote based on past records of the individuals, then we still have a long way to go. |
aleeyus:Okay |
GeoSpatial:So describing this almost failed state as a zoo is bad, then oga your reasoning process is laughable , seriously you would need proper evaluation if you don't get the idea behind calling it a zoo. |
aleeyus:I am not hating fam, I am reacting from what was seen on Twitter. I bore no hatred against any side or region but I never fail to laugh, when "foolishness" gets the better of them at the end. |
Yujin:I agree with you an attack on any of the Southern regions is an attack on all. The South never truly learns from history but who knows, we might learn the hard way. I have never believed a Southern Unity was possible until during the #EndSars protests but now I know that the new generation is different, we may need to wait another decade to even work together as one, so that men used in causing division may have that or become old by then. |
But, I thought the North was free from police or military brutality. When we were protesting they turned it into a Southern agenda, so they should enjoy it. |

Islamist militants have beheaded more than 50 people, chopped up the bodies of victims and abducted women in a gruesome attack in Mozambique. The bodies of dismembered victims were found scattered across a forest clearing on Monday after a football pitch was turned into an 'execution ground'. Villagers were caught and killed as they tried to escape the violence while another group of militants set homes alight during the attack on Friday and Saturday, it is believed. The attack is the latest in a growing wave of jihadist violence in Mozambique by extremists linked to ISIS. Islamist militants in Mozambique (file photo) have beheaded more than 50 people, chopped up the bodies of victims and abducted women in a gruesome attack in Mozambique Some of the gunmen are said to have chanted 'Allahu Akbar' when they raided a village and abducted some of its women, while others slaughtered victims in nearby Muatide, according to BBC News. As many as 4,000 militants are thought to be fighting against Mozambique's government and other groups as the Islamists try to establish a 'caliphate'. 'They burnt the houses then went after the population who had fled to the woods and started with their macabre actions,' a Mozambique police chief said, according to The Times. Militants operating in the area had attacked several nearby villages the week before, looting and burning homes before retreating into surrounding thicket. In one case, more than a dozen men and boys were beheaded by suspected jihadists during a male initiation ceremony. 'Police learned of the massacre committed by the insurgents through reports of people who found corpses in the woods,' said an officer in the Mueda district. 'It was possible to count 20 bodies spread over an area of about 500 metres,' he added. blaqoracle:What kind of blockade? If you are referring to the one placed on the South-East during the war then I am here to tell you it would fail, this is 2020, and wars are not fought like in the 1960s. A blockade will only bring pity and more support to them militarily, and also in form of humanitarian support. We all should pray that no war breaks out because it would hard to quell for even the armed forces who are already overstretched no thanks to Boko Haram. Another thing will be more ethnic groups will begin agitations for a breakup, so it will probably escalate than you are currently imagining. |
