Just the other day there was a news here of a wild fire in one of the filling stations there, if it were not for the rapid response that it got, it could have gutted the houses closeby. Imagine filling stations built very close to a primary school or market, what do u think happens in the case of a fire incident. The state government is just doing its primary function; to protect life and properties.
Me I have not seen y dis should cause a stir. If all they are concerned about is a small mosque that can always be rebuild somewhere close and legal, what then should the owner of the fillings station to be demolished do? Protest to Saudi Arabia? Let's be guided abeg. Besides we all saw in the post that the approval given was for a filling station, a place of worship was not included.

Yeah i remember, 2007/08. Wen as a pre-degree student, I was able to intimidate my 400L room mate who obviously thought he would be able to put me under. The whole drama happened the first night he arrive back to resume, he met me already occupying the room. Thank God my guys who had been in the school had given me enough orientation. You couldn't have known I was a predite except I told u. After I gave him hot that first night, not knowing who I might be, the 400L guy liver cut, after the calm, he asked for ma name and level, told him predegree, the guy open mouth, e nor fit close am. After that first impression, the guy relates with me like I was some 400 or 500L guy, I don't greet him first in the morning, sharply e don greet me and many other tins. Felt good anyway.

I have seen how some of them treat corp members. Although i never had problems with any too, until a day I decided to check at their annex office to complain about ma faded I.d card. From the way that NYSC official lashed at me, I believe he must have mistaken me for some guy secretly strafing his wife at his back, cos he went way too far. Even ordered me out of the compound, before God, just like that. He said I mentioned in my narration that my zonal cord was the one who first discovered my I.d card was faded and adviced I check at the annex office to lodge a complain and probably get a temporary I'd card. He said how will a graduate not know he has to change his faded I'd card, all my effort to explain that d i.d stays parmanently in my pouch and looks normal from the outside, I have not had a cause to remove it since camp, fell on deaf hears. The man was so feeling himself that day, I wasn't pained just cos of the embarrassment, but it was obviously so uncalled for. As a matter of fact he vowed and boasted severally that he would make sure I will not pass out, that he was not going to change my card and my initial id card will not be accepted so no one will give my certificate. A lady in the SAED room behind him must have noticed at a point that I was becoming impatient and almost busted out, cos she's started parting her chest as a sign to urge me to just chill and absorb It all. All I saw that day was a power drunk. He probably just got promoted to a position no one in his lineage as ever attained.
