One of the most touching stories told on the internet of recent, is that of two unusual buddies. How a Dog (Lundy) that cannot walk and a Pigeon (Hermann) that cannot fly, became the best of friends. It is the story of a little couple like no other who in a few days became an internet sensation.

Lundy, an eight-week-old chihuahua, suffers from serious spinal problems since birth, but became friends with a very special sidekick. Images of both animal has since gone viral on the internet.

At a first glance, everything seemed to be different about them. Obviously, one is a Dog (chihuahua), the other is a pigeon, one is very young, the other is already old. And yet, in pain, the two found each other and has become impossible to separate them

As the animal center Mia Foundation reveals on its Facebook page, Lundy, a chihuahua just two months old, suffers from a severe handicap. Probably a victim of spinal cord injuries, the small canine is unable to walk as a result.

While Hermann, the old pigeon, also a resident of the Mia Foundation, is unable to fly.

"I put Herman on a dog bed and started taking care of Lundy. I decided to carefully place Lundy in the same dog bed next to him. They started interacting immediately in a very cute way" Sue Rogers explains in the columns of the Mirror.

It is impossible to separate both friends as the two animals have become the best friends in the world and keep huddling together in the rescue facilities. Isn't that cute?

So I had something to do in my state and I decided to stay at my mum's. In her usual manner, whenever myself or any of my siblings come home, she would rush to the market to buy lots of thing to prepare some soup and special delicacies. So just like that she had gone to the market before my arrival on Tuesday. Amongst other thiings she bought was this bush meat, already roasted and held with stick.
