The West complain about Nigeria's corruption and insecurity but they are still plenty in Nigeria hustling. I wouldn't be able to cope with their way of life and what they see as norm. |

WriteerNg: ⚡President Biden is releasing 1 million barrels of gasoline from a Northeast reserve in a bid to lower prices at the pump.
The Biden administration said Tuesday that it is releasing 1 million barrels of gasoline from a Northeast reserve established after Superstorm Sandy in a bid to lower prices at the pump this summer.
The sale, from storage sites in New Jersey and Maine, will be allocated in increments of 100,000 barrels at a time. The approach will create a competitive bidding process that ensures gasoline can flow into local retailers ahead of the July 4 holiday and sold at competitive prices, the Energy Department said. The move is intended to help “lower costs for American families and consumers″ the department said in a statement.
Gas prices average about $3.60 per gallon nationwide as of Tuesday, up 6 cents from a year ago, according to AAA. Tapping gasoline reserves is one of the few actions a president can take by himself to try to control inflation, an election year liability for the party in control of the White House. Another form of subsidy |

Muslims typically have higher birth rates compared to other religious groups.
Europe case is worse because in addition to their very low birth rate, they opened their borders wide to immigrants from higher birth rate people groups. It's high time the Caucasian race become a big minority in the world. |

Persian and Arab women are very beautiful. This is not apparent in their native lands due to Islamic laws. You need to see photos of beautiful Persian and Arab immigrants in the West to appreciate this.

Gajagojo: I NEVER said no other way so you should take your own advice
Once again the question
If it is my personal land are you arguing that once you have completed a building on it I have no right to pull it down because I did not stop you building on it? Before you jumped on my mention, this was the context in which my comments so far were made. So if you're not here to discuss within context, then we have no conversation. I never even knew you were not the person I quoted, hence your out of context response to my comment. Good day.

Gajagojo: Irrelevant
the same argument would apply to a private owner
By that logic if you can successfully erect a building on my land and I do nothing till you finish Then the land has become yours
That kind of logic may work where you come from but not in Lagos I'm hoping you actually understand how to discuss within context. You said no other way and I said there was. There's a word called "proactive". When we Nigerians understand that word, we wouldn't have to deal with things like this going forward. We always leave acting till last minute because we just love to destory, to correct on time is not in our dictionary, to condemn is our trade. Pull down at the earliest stage (As early as foundation stage) = Correct Pull down when it's been completed = Condemn. This is me praying you'd understand the points above. |

LordAdam16: He is the only one who has the balls to go toe to toe with the Ayatollah.
In Pakistan, the military calls the shots and controls the economy. In Iran, the religious numbnuts control the economy. And on top of that they instituted a parallel military to duplicate the function of the main Iranian military and gave this parallel military free reigns. So while Iran and Pakistan have roughly the same budget (but Iran having half the population), the inefficiency caused by having too many freeloaders and mouth breathers mean their execs have no choice but to fly around in floating coffins.
The Ayatollah has done remarkable when wrt foreign policy but domestically the mullahs have to go. I've been calling for that for ages now. The death of Raisi is the crescendo to an untenable downward spiral that can not be allowed to continue.
-Lord Unfortunately it's religion that is helping them put a leash on the people, even the real military and political men there know this. I don't see that changing anytime soon. |

emmaodet: Countries like Iran not only shouldn't expose their VIPs to western cars and aircraft, it should be extended to western money like dollars that US has been holding or opening themselves to western trades like oil that they can place embargo on thereby throwing your economy into disarray, military equipment etc Every single western organisation out there is designed to subdue a perceived enemy whenever the time arises be it IMF, World bank, dollars, UN etc Anything. Russia has paved the way, let's see how many countries will toll the line of freedom from western grip. |

SoNature: There's never a better time to demolish illegal properties. We have an irresponsible society where people do the wrong things and think they won't ever be punished for it.
For the sane ones among us, this should teach us a big lesson. People do the wrong things and call it connection, but when the consequences come they remember their tribe. There is a better time. When they just started building it. Can they claim not to be aware when most of these buildings were below lintel stage? If they can destroy now, why not then? No construction happens without one govt official coming around. No where in Lagos does this happen. |

LordAdam16: Everyone has pointed this out severally. You are tight with Russia and China but the backbone of your air fleet are ancient American airframes.
Russia or China will donate 10 brand new helos every 5 years to the Presidential Fleet if they requested for it. But they seem to enjoy living dangerously. Play st*pid games, win st*pid prizes.
Chinese leaders don't travel on helicopters as state policy and these are folks that can afford as many state-of-the-art modern airframes as they desire. But you're transporting your President alongside your FM in a 40-year old American helo. Anyway, I'm rooting for Ahmadinejad to return. That country needs a maniac to push back at the Mullahs.

emmaodet: Iran is too exposed to western attack abeg. While will your number 1 be using US helicopter? When you re not in good terms with US and her baby isreal. They should have been using home made heli or Russia/China own. Who uses an opponent equipment if not a fool. The earlier they know this the better. Moreover, a president moves in convoy whether car by road or flight by air. The initial report wrote that he was in convoy of 3 helicopters. Does it mean the 3 crashed? If it is only the president's own then while did they struggle to identify his location immediately when he was in convoy on air. I smell assassination because even a crashed helicopter has a flight recorder that will identify the cause of accident and when you read that such incident, all were burnt to ashes without any traces of getting anything for investigation, then it smells rat. Someone in the presidential cabinet is a traitor and it is best they fish them out. Mossad can not do anything from outside. If there is going to be breach, it is a double agent inside who either planted a bomb that can be detonated remotely into the heli or gives the president's flight path and movement to mossad who lay ambush to strike the heli down in a low visibility, mountainous area to make tracing virtually impossible or a gift given to the president in Azerbaijan has a planted bomb. Also, the heli relys on US GPS for navigation purpose.... Honestly, Iran is very very exposed. You are using an enemy helicopter with enemy's navigational system that can manipulate your pilot's route remotely to fly through extremely bad weather. There just so many loopholes to exploit This is what I wanted to say. Why are they using western cars, aircrafts for VIPs? That of an enemy for that matter. Don't these people learn? Iran has enough smart people to have home made cars and aircrafts for their VIPs. Maybe this incident is going to make them think twice before using western cars/aircrafts for VIPs. All the same, Helicopter should never be used for travelling unless the weather is 110% okay. |
