What tires me about this nonsense is that someone who is from Lagos Island will say they are true lagosians forgetting the Aworis, Ijebus, Eguns, Egbas are also Indigenes of Lagos.

So Gbadebo is from Eko. Okay……

Who are you and why do we need this irrelevant information?

Are you a candidate or what exactly are you apart from being a foot soldier to the non-indigenes currently running the state?

Abriba is a Tribe
Nsukka is a tribe
Etd

Both within the Igbo ethnic group.

Edo is a Tribe
Owan is a tribe
Esan is a tribe
Etc

All within the Edo Ethnic group.

Egba is a Tribe
Ife is a Tribe
Ibadan is a tribe
Ijebu is a Tribe
Etc

All within the Yoruba ethnic group.

So is the topic talking about the largest tribes in Nigeria or the largest ethic group in Nigeria?

As usual, Nigerians are not scrutinising what he said, they're just repeating the usual empty words like thief, jail, saner climes blah blah blah.

Is it true that private airlines took Nigeria air to court?

Was it for the benefit of Nigeria or the benefit of these private airlines?

Who were the private airlines defending?

Why was Ethiopian airline a partner in the establishment of Nigeria air and not other Nigerian owned airlines?

For once, ask intelligent questions Nairalanders!

I already made my point clear. It's left for you to learn now or learn the hard way.

Run away from any business that promises you 50% return on investment wether monthly or however you take it to be so you won't be used as the biggest maga.

Greed is the beginning of the down fall of a man after womén.

If you can solve the issue of greed and womanising as a man, you've solved 70% of issues in life. I see no reason why any man won't make it in life.
You can't make any point through lies.

You formulated a lie to make a point and you want us to disregard your dishonesty?

How are you different from the culprit in the said article?
CrimeRe: EFCC Arrests Ahamba Tochukwu For ₦2 Billion Failed Investment Scheme by Procashtips(m): 8:23am On Sep 04, 2025
Mcslize:
If any business promises you 50% return on investment, run for your dear life. That's a big red flag first of all. Life is not that easy.

If you tell me that this business can give me 10-18% on investment in 6 months, which will be twice a year. I can still believe it.

But promising someone 50% return on investment every month, in 12 months that means you will be raking in 600% return, and if you believe such, it typically means that, you as an individual is so greedy.

Run for your dear life from anybody that promises you such collosal amount of return on investment. Like I said, life is not that easy.
Where was it written the 50% was monthly?

SportsRe: Peter Rufai Burial: I Will Never Advise My Son To Play For This Country - Taribo by Procashtips(m): 9:32pm On Aug 22, 2025
casualobserver:
Ok I stand corrected. The sports ministry should have been represented. If that’s his issue. I confess I didn’t watch the video. However there are official protocols for these things. You just don’t bury someone and expect the govt to be there. Sometimes if you want official govt presence and recognition at your funeral, you have to officially notify the govt. don’t just assume that they heard of his death in the news. Former senate president Wayas died and his body was languishing in London for years, he was buried recently and given a befitting commendation service at the senate. But you know what? The senate president said they thought he had been buried all these years because no one from the family notified them of his burial or any difficulties they were having.

When I buried my dad, we were just going to bury him as a family thing, we didn’t know we had to officially inform his former office even though he had retired, he was their former head. They were the ones annoyed with the family for not informing them and We had to make an alteration to the burial schedule to accommodate them and they came with full representation all the way from Abuja to our village in the SW.

govt officials attending a funeral involves many things, they may want to be part of the programme, they may want to hpgive a speech, letter of commendation, possible gift to family, the petrol, the drivers allowance, the out of station allowances for official representatives, all these thing must be requested for and approved officially by someone in the minsyptry. If someone does not make the official request, nothing happens…that’s how govt works. So the question then is did the family give the sports ministry official notice of the funeral? When this story is finished I can guarantee you they didn’t inform the ministry.

If there is one thing I can guarantee about federal govt agencies, no matter how broke, it is sending representatives to funerals of dead high ranking officials from that agency. They don’t play trust me because they all know their own will come and it’s an opportunity for out of station allowances. So long as they are officially informed. Peter Rufai though not a direct ex employee was a national asset, if the family informed them they would have sent a delegation.
You said you didn't watch the video, so no need for further assumptions

.

It was good money then if you are not greedy. Please take a good luck at the Nigeria World Cup squad of 1994 and 1998.

Why are you hungry and they aren’t?

Many of them became internationally more influential after their careers, emenelo was director of football for Chelsea and is currently the director of the Saudi league. Loosen became a manager in Belgium and other countries, Amokachi, eguavon, keshi, sis sis, amunike all became international managers or assistants, ekoku and ikpeba utilised their skills as pundits, taribomwas busy wearing white garment, I don’t know what Rufai was doing, maybe he was too proud to ask his influential teammates for a job or to point him in the right direction.

If you want to use the argument that the money wasn’t as high as now, you can go through the list and see how many of those players played at the same time with the same low wages.

Where were Rufai and Taribo when their mates were taking coaching badges or looking for punditry or football related work? Taribo decided to form a church. Life is about choices we make.
From what Taribo said, did he say they were hungry?

Peter Rufai established an NGO helping children achieve their dreams.

What West is saying isn't really about money they way you guys have changed the whole narrative, he's talking about recognition for job done for the country and paying of respect for the day by honoring them during their funeral.

Most of the names you listed, go and check them, some are now into promoting betting sites, gambling, alcohol promotion and the likes.

So it's not about comparing, it's about what the country end up doing for this players as a sign of appreciation at their funerals.

Tell me where in the world where the government is responsible for you simply because you won a soccer tournament?

What happened to the monies they made as professionals? Is the govt responsible for an extravagant lifestyle?

Peter Rufai has a career earning forex for 13 years
Taribo west had a career playing for the 2 of top teams in Italy at the peak of Italian football and a career earning forex for 14years. If they failed to manage their finances, that is on them.
Like players were making good money then. Seems you are judging some of these players with those who play now or those who played in big clubs.

The Millennials (Which I belong to) often use your phrase "Our parents were too harsh on us", so they try to be "soft" or "sophisticated"
We want to be friends with our children, forgetting that to lead humans, they must have a bit of "fear" of you in them to listen to you and to act right.

Are you trying to say things were as bad as it's now, or what exactly are you saying?
Was Nigeria this morally corrupt 20 years ago?

It's for you to answer 'Yes' or 'No', but if it's a 'No', compare both eras using evidence.

So how come the country is not better for it if the elderly ones raised their children properly?

The Millennials are tying to raise their children in the opposite ways their parents raised them and this is already breeding disaster.
