As much as I love Messi and barca. I really pity the team. Barca could not even score with their first 11 against a 15th place Levante only Messi came on. The team needs to look for a plan B ASAP. And I suggest barca sends Messi on loan for about 2 seasons it would help the team to know their strength outside Messi and also to enable Messi conquer another league and stop Ronaldo fan boys from saying trash any longer |
It's just about one man. Messi |

aprilwise:Why 300 likes are you clocking 300 years? |
This is extremely hilarious. Japan has some of the weirdest things when it comes to football. I think those pro players would win the match easily. The team of those kids would be so confusing. Who would you even pass to when you have 99 team mates. Your teammates would probably tackle for the ball too |
fecta:July 17, lol. How low can you get |
dukeprince50:Na so some people dy take die |
Fadedvoices2:Please explain what you mean by coward he is just been called one because he can't fight. And in the medieval times, that was the main perquisite for bravery. But bravery isn't just how well you can fight, it's how well you can conquer with your mind. He doesn't argue because that's the norm back then. So would you call Bran a coward too just because he can't fight. And why do you think his colleagues in the night watch stopped calling him a coward |
I have been reading through this thread for a while, I have been tempted to comment a few times but I mostly find my commentary a little too shallow compared to the work some of you guys put in. Kudos to everyone on that. I have most especially enjoyed ksslib because he reminds my of the kinda outlook I have lost to the rigours and tools of this world, he reminds me of a time when I'd view a scene or an action through a kaleidoscope just to get different perspective to the subject of discourse, the days where I'd look at my palms with binoculars, so as to get the tinniest of details. I am not that old in age(before y'all think dumbledore somehow found his way here but I am old in soul( I have the soul of an ancestor, probably that's why I was named Babatunde .I just find it appalling, disgusting and find it as a heresy of gargantuan proportion, that some folks here think Sam is a coward, I have read that shit more than once on this thread and it nauseates me every single time. It's crazy that people think Sam is a coward because he can't fight and that's a big lie and I'd explain by listing the reasons below. 1) Sam was the first person to kill a night walker, I know y'all gonna say he didn't mean to or it was pure luck, but that still doesn't take our the fact that SAM WAS THE FIRST MAN IN MODERN HISTORY TO KILL A WHITE WALKER. For those of you who think it was pure luck, I can categorically tell you that you'd probably be so petrified that you won't be able to blink when you see a Wight, it takes bravery to even pull out a blade against something that's can't die, he was lucky that was dragon glass but he at least tried, we can start listing several great fighters who fell before night walkers. But Sam didn't. 2) He attempted and successfully cure grey scale. Even when he knew that he would probably contact it, I mean the last person who tried it died that should scare anybody including the bravest of knights, and it's not like he was a maester then oh. Just a random guy who was brave enough to take on something that no other person had tried in centuries. I just let this point slide and let you ruminate on it 3) He saved Gilly against so much odds, you might think that isn't much of an achievement but for an obese guy who can't take care of himself to try and protect a mother and her toddler. Haaa no be small thing oh, especially through a wintery region behind the wall which is considered as the most dangerous place in the series 4) He showed that he is mentally tough when he was at the citadel, a man who came with high hope of reading books and finding the solution to the urgent problem that the was about to encounter been told to clean out poop and do ridiculous things for months, lesser men would have given up but not Sam. He stayed and conquered. 5) the fact that he even volunteered to go to war against the night King says it all. Even though he knows he'd mostly likely does after 3 seconds. He still wanted to go there. Cowardice isn't about how weak you are physically but how weak you're mentally. And Sam is in no way a coward IMO Just because he lacks physical strength, skill and techniques doesn't make him coward. It's just like saying Tyrion is a coward because he's a dwarf and can't fight much, or that girl that spoke with ser Davos because she's too little to handle a blade. Most of our favorite characters are brave to us because they have very exception fight skills, big body builds, dragons or amazing war strategy but Sam has survived in all he has been through and he certainly has been through a lot more than most other guys in WF right now, with his physical disadvantage and I believe he deserves kudos I am not a huge Sam fan though, I am just trying to correct a deep seated misconception of many commentators here. I think Sam ranks in my top 5 bravest character in GoT. |
You're not sexually attractive to those ladies I think. Those girls are just looking for a way to bounce you. I can swear by my balls that not more than one of those ladies is a virgin. Even if they were virgins. They'd sleep with you if your sexual aura is irresistible |
Jessi0202:How do I get it in nigeria, that my question jere. I want to get one but you ain't forth coming and do they have professional cameras as well. The type for shooting HD movies and pictures |
This guy has low self-esteem, at his level he doesn't need to always call attention to himself and brag. Attention would automatically come. Na wa for Ronaldo |
Ksslib:I wish I could give you 1 billion likes. This is exactly wuat we mean by only smart people can watch game of thrones and enjoy it. The movie is more than war strategy, battles, sex and dialogues. It about physiology, sociology, science, philosophy and many more. Thumbs up for letting others see this side of GoT, I wish this your comment, just your comment can make front-page |
babakb:I know they won it in 2014 against athletico what I am talking about was the era of their dominance. and I didn't say Ronaldo hasnt done well with Real. it's just the cockiness wee are talking about. and the fact that he made the success of that period look like it was all his personal effort. when he was there for 5 years before he even made the finals. ironically it was the season that bale was brought in that the won the UCL. yet bale didn't say he was the one who did it, and that season the BBC gang scored 97 goal with bale winning the Copa del Ray for them. what I am trying to say is that Ronaldo made the Real Madrid team look like it was all about him, which is totally wrong and he was losing his head and becoming too cocky. and some will still break his record, hopefully it will stand for a while. there is nothing special there records will always be broken. |
babakb:Because of that he would stay in the club forever?, They were gonna lose him one day. Ans he was already feeling too cocky.. I repeat, there is nothing special that Ronaldo did in Real until his last 3 seasons. He was there for 9 years and they only won the UCL in his last 3 sessions. Meaning that his first 6 sessions was more or less mediocre. Some people said he was the one who made Real win their UCL, if that were to be true, he would have won it in his first session or at worst his second or third session but he didn't win it till his 7th session. Which means you can't say he was factor that made them win it but the team grew together and became a Europe conquering team. Not some outstanding Ronaldo magic. And If it too Ronaldo 7 sessions to win the UCL with real, players like Hazard, Neymar and salah would win the UCL faster than that with that same Real team |
Sterling should won both awards. It's no brainer |
I really feel for man utd fans this season. They have to "decide" whether to beat man city so that Liverpool( their sworn enemies) can win the league or lose the match so that man city their so much hated noisy neighbors can win the league. And in may, they won't know who to support maybe Barca(tgat contains the Messi they hate so much and also the team that knocked them out) or Liverpool( their life long foe). Terrible times to be a man utd fan |
jaxxy:And how's is Ronaldo right?, When Ronaldo was in Madrid the team went trophyless too for some sessions, they were also third on the league log at some point. There is nothing that is happening to Real today that didn't happen to them when Ronaldo was there. And now that Zidane has come back and Real has been winning again people can now see that the problem wasn't a Ronaldo problem but a coaching problem. |
jaxxy:They weren't tired of the ewure, they were begging him stay now.. the president sold him after he was making outrageous demands. No one begged him or stopped him And for your information, Messi is still idolize just about 3 weeks ago the Pope commented on how Messi is been referred to as God in Argentina and how he is been worshipped and how he has been telling them that Messi isn't God but a fellow human like them. That was just a few weeks ago |
jaxxy:What are you saying, when you are really tired of a player you don't care who is then replacements. When Chelsea was tired of Costa they sold him an brought in morata, when Madrid was tired of Ronaldo they sold him and brought in a teenager, when Barca was tired of Zlatan they sold him and didn't even bother with a replacement. I have lived in Argentina a while, and I know how they idolize Messi don't let the media decieve you. Messi is loved in Argentina |
jaxxy:I think you really might be confused as the other guy said. How can you be desperate to have what you're tired of as you said earlier. It is understandable that Argentines are frustrated with what has happened so far with the team and Messi as the star man would take most of the blame and anger. But in all these Argentines know that if Messi leaves that team there would be far bigger troubles. Messi is still the best player they have had since Maradona, with or without a senior trophy |
jaxxy:Same country men who sent the FA president, the country president and the Pope to beg Messi to come out if his premature retirement 2 years ago? Same country men that weeks ago the Pope cautioned them for calling Messi God and worshipping him? |
Jokerman:Castro a beer company knows more about football than FiFA and all the ex footballers and administrators who chose Messi right.. Look at the ratings I just modified my previous comments. If you really watched that world cup everyone knew Messi played as the midfielder sometimes as the AM sometimes as the CM. There was no time he played as the striker. If you have proof please bring it forward. |
Jokerman:As I said earlier all you keep screaming is goals and goals. For your information, we are talking about impact on the team for you to win the golden ball, you've to be head and shoulders above the rest if your teammates. That's what Messi was, besides dimaria no other Argentina player was impressive at the world cup, Messi was more or less dragging them through. Same thing happened with Croatia even though alot of their players performed eg Rakitic, perisic, mazuhic but Modric was ahead of them all by a margin. Look at France for example, mbappe was their best player no doubt but can you say in performance he was far ahead Griezzman, varane and pogba. Not so because the difference in impact wasnt that much As for muller, muller wasn't even the most impactful player in his team, neuer, kroos, hummels were ahead of him. And if muller didn't play the German team of 2014 wouldn't have missed him too much. Because that team was like a unit. But the same couldn't be said about Argentina.. And as for the man of the match, You're just been mischievous, Messi had 5 MoTMs only arjen Robben had 5 as well, but he didn't get to the finals, your Thomas muller had just 2 MoTMs.. please use your internet for more constructive things than just crying this is the list of golden ball winners since 2002, please tell me how many goals and assists they had.. 2002 Oliver Kahn , 2006 Zidanne, 2010 Diego forlan.. I just wonder why it is Messi"s own that's giving you headaches As for not making yhe list that is obviously because he wasn't the best Striker in the competition and in other to put him along strikes you needed to use evidence which is goals, sadly Messi didn't have as many goals as the other strikers. Mainly because he was used more as a midfielder.. And I must repeat everything about football is not goals. Ronaldo fan boy just needed something to masturbate on so they had to go back to 5 years ago to find relief isn't that pathetic And I forgot to add Messi had 1 assist not zero. And this is the ranking of players by who scored.com but of course you know better than both the website and fifa
|
What exactly is the purpose of this thread. To discredit Messi I guess. Golden ball gas never been about goals, just because Messi didn't score as much as Rodriguez doesn't mean he can't win it. Amongst those who you listed how many got to the final. And we know that it is Fifa tradition to pick the golden ball winner amongst those in the final and besides Neuer no other player in the final deserved the golden ball as much as Messi. Messi had the highest man of the match awards in the competition and was even the best player in the final even though he didn't win it. Messi scored 50% of his team goals even though he was playing from a midfield position. The golden boot award has already taken care of the goalscorers. Golden ball is about something else entirely, but I don't really expect Ronaldo fan boys to understand that, because to them everything is goal goal goal By your analogy Luca modric shouldn't even have been considered for the golden ball because he scored just 2 goals and one assist as a central midfielder, there were midfielders with better stats in the competition, but modric won it because of one thing IMPACT. And that's what wins golden ball. That's was what Messi had more than everybody in the competition, he had more impact than the others. End of discussion |
raumdeuter:Even Tyrion's Asian LovePeddler, dany's beauty and sexuality is very overrated on that show. She is very hot but she won't make top 10 in my assessment, even Robb Starks gf sef is sexier
|
He actually scored a goal against a giant robot that block almost all space in front of goal |
The same "super computer" that predicted juventus would be in the UCL finals |
prodigyhenry:Was that what made the world best?, There performance with the national team was what made them who they are not their club performances.. When you watch documentaries of them, it's the national team performance that mainly comes up |
jaxxy:That's all you saw in his post?, You don't see the silver medals, the MVPs and others?. You're the one who is funny around here |
jaxxy:So what did he talk about up there.. NPFL? |
yungmill:Sorry I quoted the wrong person. I think I was too trigger happy |
