MRbrownJAY: if thats the case then they should all join that fantastic agent.
fantastic!

but...
You know it's not that easy.
Many actors and talents would not even tell you who their agent is, nor give you His/her number.
Sometimes, they might be kind enough to tell you the company name (but of course, everybody knows the name and addresses of all the Talent Agents for the performing arts) but they will NEVER tell you that particular personnel who does the magic and represents them like heaven.

...and when our beloved entertainment Journalist gives us a 'leak', even a thousand mails and bombs would be hard to drive one in. For example in the case of Lupita N'ýongo whose Agent we all know but can't reach.
That's Hollywood for you --- one hell of a messed up industry.

Many are willing to invest But they need to see proof that their investment can be recouped.

TV/MoviesRe: Is Nollywood A Worthy Movie-industry? by prof800(m): 12:33am On Aug 27, 2014
@Djicemob:
Ignatio and tonyayo1 are both right.
...You have to re-read their posts again but this time with an open subjective mind.

AND to your question "Is Nollywood A Worthy
Movie-industry?"
...Well YES it is.
..It is the second fastest growing industry in Nigeria.
...It is also a worthy employer of labour (the second largest).
...It is also large in terms of capital base (figure witheld).
So all in all,
...it is capable of competing with other industrial sectors in Nigeria. So it is a worthy movie industry.

AND,
.......YES, it can also be crappy or might be crappy but then isn't every other movie industry crappy or at least, 'has once been crappy'?

TV/MoviesRe: 7 Directors Who Stole Their Biggest Hits (from Themselves) by prof800(m): 2:05pm On Aug 24, 2014
koice: Pay close attention to the bold. The OP apparently had your weak attempt to poke holes in this excellent piece of well composed article well covered. Now don't worry your little head about this being a Copy and Paste, just worry that you might not be in full control of your mental equilibrium to have missed this...

Good Morning.
I'm sorry Sir, your heading says "7 Directors Who Stole Their
Biggest Hits (from Themselves)".

keyword: "Stole".

...besides this was meant to be humour not 'serious business'. (apparently it's culled from the number 1 humour site in the world)

Tell this to someone who don't know better.

...because "This is a failed attempt at satirical fallacy".

The coincedences are meant to play with your mind and don't mean they 'stole' from themselves. If it were so, then every great director becomes a culprit. This is due to the fact that their special style becomes a signature art. It happens to 'John Woo' all the time.
Sometimes you could tell who the director is, by just watching a few scenes. I experienced this with 'true grit'.

I'm sorry this is an incredibly sh.itty thread.

P.S: Pay no attention to my mental equilibrium because its not in this planetary space. I'm certified mental wreck!

Yeah right, the 'Titanic' was stolen from 'Terminator'. Or a remake even. sad

And 'Finding Forrester'?
...dude be writing copied crap you know nothing about.

'Finding Forrester' was written by Mike Rich and inspired by true tales while 'Good Will Hunting' was written by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, so how did Gus Van Sant copy himself?
